Although it would seriously suck to lose access to, say, a lvl 32 blaster I have played for 9 months as an alt that was powerleveled using meow missions from lvl 21-32.

Where would such a line be drawn? What toons would you lose access to? Just toons that went from 1-50 or all toons that have been on any farm in the MA?

Recently bought a new stationary computer and installed City of Heroes on it.

Everything went well until I tried to go into Windowed Mode (I run two accounts, so I need two windows). When I try to set it into Windowed Mode and restart the client, all that happens is that CoH is set for a smaller resolution, but it is still not windowed but still full-screen.

What more do I need to do?


I have done this with three other computers in the past, without any significant problems.

I have had crashes the last few days, with loading of MA missions taking forever, i.e. I never get into the mish at all. This might have occured with more toons than this, all on Virtue, all members of the same SG ... BUT on different accounts

SG/VG Name: Avesos
When do you crash: When loading MA missions
Does it affect all characters: No, but it does affect toons on different accounts (I have more than one)
Does it affect only characters in one or more SG's or VG's: All my toons on this server are in the same SG


I have not had any problems on other servers than Virtue

She choose an ice/ice tank for her main toon and, as we are Swedish, English is not her main language. Thus her first english words she learnt were "ty" and "lol", she will probably have problems in English class later :-)

I tried to make her use her lvl 11 blaster instead, but she wants to tank. This often leads to people disliking her when she plays in teams (we often play together, but early morning she is up teaming while I am sleeping on weekends), as she does not understand any instructions she receives from the leader or the team. However, I have drilled her in taunting, herding and tanking, so she is doing an OK job. It has been a while since someone kicked her.

My main comment to her while she is playing is: "They are waiting for you to lead! CHARGE!!!"

She is on Freedom too, as Death Skull Ninja (or any other toon with Death Skull in the name :-) )

My daughter just became eight and celebrated by making lvl 35 and getting into Cimerora (she wants the roman costume a lot, I have told her too many stories about the romans) :-)

I think this policy as implemented now is GREAT and I think it is only fair to give it some time to see what the results will be.

I am not positive to a higher lvl requirement at all. I just brought back someone who had played for a year just at the start (thus almost away for three and a half years). He started playing regularly now with all his old toons. If all his names were gone (none of them was higher than lvl 24, he loves soloing and does not level very fast) I am sure he would be quite put off and would have gone back to WoW
