    What to choose?

Tanks look like a very interesting prospect in the PvP game now a days. I would post this in the PvP forums but they are less than helpful. So I have full set of hetacombs, 3 LOTG recharges, 2 sets of Makos, a set of Crushing Impacts, a set of Adjusted Targeting, and a few Numina's I just pulled off one of my toons and about 1 billion in inf.

I was wondering what tank combo would be best for the 1vs1 game in PvP. I have a lvl 50 Inv/SS that is is good, but Fire/SS, WP/SS, and Ice/SS seem to have me beat in the survivability category. Therefore I would like the professional opinion of the tanker forums in choosing which to sink all this hard earned inf in.

If you could provide a build with your answer I would greatly appreciate it!

No comments? Comon guys would really appreciate the info as I want to get this guy into RV ASAP!

    Fire/Regen

Hey guys. I posted a similar thread in the PvP forums, but then I realized that some of the Regen Guru's don't PvP. Therefore, I am humbly requesting criticism on the following build. It is a PvP build, but I am looking for similar qualities such as +HP, + Recharge, and +Damage as most PvE builds as well. Any critique you can give me would be great. My budget is about 1.5 Billion so if you could please keep that in consideration. Here is the build:

You guys can revamp the Pool Powers as you see fit as those are not set in Stone. I am not sure whether or not my End Recov is high enough to eliminate Stamina from the build. Any changes you would make to increase stats or make them more effective in anyway would be appreciated.

    Thanks Alot,
    Vanquish
  4. So yeah I have a fire/regen scrap and a inv/ss tank that both would be good prospective PvP'ers. Before I sink about 1.5 billion into one or the other I would like to take a vote as to which one would perform better in PvP. If you could include your reasoning as to why you picked one or the other I would greatly appreciate it!

    Fire/Regen Build

Thx for the input Mac. Ill see what I can come up with swapping some of those sets out for some more procs.

In the meantime if anyone has some other builds that they could post I would greatly appreciate it.

    Fire/Regen Build

Thanks for the post mac. Build look really good. Is there any way you could post a more refined build? Quick question though, should the heca's go into my fastest firing attack in this case fire sword, or stay in GFS. Should I stick Miracles in Instant Healing, or would a third set of Doctored Wounds be more beneficial? Also, would you recommend Touch of Death anywhere in replace of Mako's?

Also, what are your thoughts on the Boxing pool? Wondering if the #'s off tough and weave are worth the dip into the pool.

    Fire/Regen Build

Could anyone help me with a fire/regen build? I have a 1.5 billion spending budget. Im trying to get as much recharge and defense possible with enough damage and end recovery to get the job done. I am not very familiar with Regen, therefore I am opening this up to those that know more about it than I do...

This is mostly going to be 1 Vs 1 or Arena focused, but I dont want to be gimped in regular zone PvP either. Thanks alot for the help!

  8. I currently have a Broadsword/Willpower scrapper at lvl 41. I was thinking about making him into a PvP toon (decking him out with some pretty expensive IO's). Before I do that I was wondering whether it is worth my time and my money to do so.

I konw RTTC is somewhat broken, but overall how is Willpowers performance in PvP. I am primarily going to be interested in 1 on 1.

  9. I dont have any of these as of now... and I chose them because I thought they would work well in the dueling area.. If you guys have any other suggestions feel free to include them, I just like the synergy between the powersets and their viability.
  10. Comon guy's nothing? Could really use some input!
  11. So yeah I was trying to weigh the strengths and weaknesses of each combination, but I am having some trouble deciding overall which path to choose... If you have any other combo suggestions please feel free to add it!

This toon is entirely going to be for PvP, and mostly 1 on 1 duels. Should i go:

Ice/SS or EM Tanker - Not sure about Ice post I14 and whether or not it will do well in the future. Overall nice debuffs/survivability. My problem here is whether or not he will be able to pump out enough damage without being a significant inf. sink!

Sonic/Cold Corruptor - Very nice debuff's but the lack of healing makes me somewhat hesitant. Throw in the -Res of sonic and it seems to be a very nice combo.

    And Last But not least
Elec/Regen Stalker - Everyone knows electricity is a beast now... but my primary concern is that it will get the Nerf bat and rendered useless in the next issue. This is of course the eternal question..

So let me know what you guys think. If you could produce a build with your suggestion I would much appreciate it. The target zones for this character is Recluses Victory, but if its not to much trouble i'd like it to do well in Sirens for the once in a while challenge.

Thanks alot guys I would really appreciate some feedback from those who know much more about PvP than I do (which is probably everyone IMAO)

    Fire/SS PVP Tank

Of course. Everything is killable that I understand very well. I am simply looking for a good PvP build that fills in most of the drawbacks Fire has, and performs well overall against most AT's.

I am planning to PvP mostly in Sirens, but am trying to get into some RV PvP as well. If you guys could help me out with a build I would much appreciate it.

    Fire/SS PVP Tank

I hear they are really good and nigh unkillable if played right. I sank all my inf into a BS/Regen scrapp which is good and all but in the long run most brutes clean the floor with me.

I was wondering if you guys would help me out with a build. I need to keep this pretty low budget 200-300 mill range. This is going to be a PvP only toon so no team friendly powers needed. I am mostly going to be going 1 on 1 but throwing some zone PvP in the mix.

Thx alot guys. Have a nice memorial day weekend

  14. Hey guys. I dont know about you but I am starting to miss my scrapper. Is there a chance we could make an archtype that is similar to the scrapper? And another think i have an idea for a elite archtype. Shapeshifter. Like khelidan you can change forms but this one you can change into animals. just a thought
