I find that +hp is the first thing to build for and +def second. With only 20% s/l and 30% en/neg, I do just fine against +3s lts and lower. Purples are the danger zone for WP due to higher burst damage and tohit.
Defense will help alot against the purple mobs, but I generally don't face purples very often.
Of course my build is hp capped and regen's 65 hp/sec with no RTTC. -
Quote:I suppose next time I flip a pancea I should take a pic to boast about.thats kinda evil but to be really evil you gotta sucker someone to buy a single IO for 2 bills
the number 666 aint for show lol
Oh and by the way...I'm 666. I just wanted to see who else was playing around in my territory. -
It isn't really getting nerfed it is getting returned to its originally intended values, which someone messed up in a patch.
-
On wp toons I generally go for +hp then +def then +regen to boost survivability.
Going heavy on the defense is likely over doing it. Even a SO wp toon should handle +2 with ease. Granted I also take CJ,tough and weave on most of my brute/scrapper/tank builds. -
Alot of attacks happen to be pbaoe, targeted aoe etc. Much more than you realize and it will get worse as you level. You likely confuse various melee or ranged looking powers for being melee/ranged when they are really AoE.
SR is a hungry secondary, you really want to take 7-8 of the powers from it.
Also skipping Lucky and Evasion will lower your scaling resistances and defense debuff resistance. -
there's this thing called email. I'm not sure how much I can store there, but I intend to do so.
-
on my claw/sr i cycle FU->Spin->eviscerate->focus->double stack FU and repeat for my AoE chain , though I'll typically start with Shockwave on the way into a spawn.
-
if you have a few billion to spend this is the build I am working towards on my dp/em/ice blaster. 43% s/l defense, 150% recharge, 3 attacks at 127 ft (more if BR stacks).

no worries i listed fairly low simply to get a sale. If it were 50 I would have listed higher.
-
This proc has been placed at WWs, happy bidding!
-
no the problem is not orange numbers not appearing - the combat logs only show 2 tohit rolls most of the time as opposed to 3 tohit rolls.
Meaning I'll hit for 200 most of the time instead of 300 like the power is supposed to do. -
Seems kinda odd to have a power that could get ganked by latency issues - would be awesome if they could fix it, but i doubt they would since it seems to effect very few people
.
-
When I use rain of arrows - no matter which AT i use it on, I tend to only see 2 ticks of damage (also confirmed via tohit roll window). I'm not sure if this is some kind of latency issue ( I'm on a wireless connection ), or a server issue ?
Do other people have problems like this with RoA ? -
I wouldnt mind seeing them seed all bids currently on the market for non impossible items ( level 51+ stuffs) so that a large portion of inf. would leave the system and we would have hordes of stuff to start the merged market off with.
-
dev seeding would be awesome in helping to keep supply at a "reasonable" level and for potentially lowering prices and removing inf from the system.
Will they? Can they ? I don't know. -
kinetic combat chance for knockdown is better than the knockback ( unless you WANT knockBACK), since you dont have to chase after the effected target.

Quote:The effect of proper marketeering is to normalize prices to a medium value.Marketeering is duller than farming ever could be. I'm not even going to pretend that I understand economics well enough to say what effect marketeering has on the game for everyone else, but I do wish it were possible to just play the game and have the same opportunities that the market mini-game players have. I consider that a problem, but not one with an easy answer.
Goat speaks the truth about AE tickets and how much they can turn over for you. Spend maybe 2 hours a week farming and you could earn a few hundred million influence easy by selling those drops in the market.
I, myself, jump knee deep into a given recipe/IO and craft 5-30 of them at a time. I do this because I know what I'm doing and rarely get burned these days ( because I've been doing this so long I can recognize when a niche is too high to bother with).
For someone new, I don't recommend getting more than 5 of an IO/recipe at a time just to avoid loosing investment capital at an early stage. -
just avoid carnie missions and you should be mostly fine. Arachnos also has alot of psi in it, but stretching your build to accommodate for a mere 23% psi resistance doesn't seem like a good idea. You could instead focus on s/l/e/n defense bonuses and make yourself practically invulnerable to everything but toxic/psi.

An impossible suggestion I do believe. Last I knew there were specific regulations for online betting in any kind of game ( which is why there are alot of poker and casino games based outside the US). Adding betting of any kind to COH may make it subject to those regulations, and hence won't be viable.
-
could it have something to do with the lock/unlock taskbar feature ?
-
it's full screen mode, and it seems to happen when i have my second account running and/or mozilla. I generally don't have anything else specifically open when playing coh.
-
I'm running coh/v on my new rig with windows 7 and if I have more than one program running, sometimes when I click my power tray, instead windows thinks Im clicking some crap on the windows tray and starts opening programs ( what ever icon it thinks I meant to click).
Is there a sure fire way to make sure coh gains focus so that windows doesn't try and process my mouse clicks ? I did not have this issue with XP. -
Silly people and their technicalities. Yes it takes money to get this to work, but in the long run it will ultimately have a net cost of 0 or even have a net profit. Also it doesn't work for every single IO out there, but that's when you pick one that does turn over well and use that to fund your odd ball choices.
-
I do high volume sales like this all the time, it's how I've acquired 20+ billion. You can scale up or down on how many you buy, you could get just enough to cover the cost of one IO to earn ~20 million and hence make the one IO you kept "free".
