windows 7 + multiple programs running loss of focus

Are you running in full screen, or (maximized) windowed mode? I'd take a guess that it's full screen mode... and I only ran full screen in 7 for a short amount of time, but never experienced anything like that.

So this ONLY happens when you have some other window open underneath CoH? And is this fullscreen or windowed mode play? And it thinks something underneath CoH on the taskbar is what you actually intend to click on.
It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. I only have this problem if the program below is set to be always on top. For example windows media centre.
it's full screen mode, and it seems to happen when i have my second account running and/or mozilla. I generally don't have anything else specifically open when playing coh.
I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
could it have something to do with the lock/unlock taskbar feature ?

My guess would be some third-party OEM software is causing some wonky behavior with window ordering.

This might help: switch off the "peek at desktop" feature by r-clicking the "show desktop" button on the right of the taskbar (next to the date and time).
I used to have the same problem when playing certain games fullscreen, but turning this off seemd to fix it

I'm running coh/v on my new rig with windows 7 and if I have more than one program running, sometimes when I click my power tray, instead windows thinks Im clicking some crap on the windows tray and starts opening programs ( what ever icon it thinks I meant to click).
Is there a sure fire way to make sure coh gains focus so that windows doesn't try and process my mouse clicks ? I did not have this issue with XP.
