Nice idea.. I would wish they first started to give more locations on one tp module possible though. Having only 2 on a module is cluttering bases with tp modules everywhere.

"Start with learning who they listen too and what they think of how it goes in the islands. Report to me afterwards. We may have use of a faction like theirs, plans are still being formed.", Elizabeth answeres... already slightly bored with the whole subject.
"I will be in my crypt... regeneration is needed."
With that she turneed around and walked towards the stairs down visible tired. -
"The people in that area aren't in league with either Buku or the UFC. I understand that these 'mountain people' are proud and stubborn. If they descide to join either side when we can't use it, they could become a problem."
Elizabeth turned around looking at the Primogen. "We need them on our side without them knowing what and who we are. Without them being turned to vampires! That will be youre task."
She emptied her chalice... "If they can't be controlled... kill them all without leaving suspicion to me or any of the LoRD's." -
Elizabeth pondered on his words for a moment... " You know I had considered... after I learned that you only turned 8 of them. That was not an unreasonable act to do. But the accusation against you was already made. And I can't loose face against the other LoRD's."
She stood up and walked to wards the large glass doors in the room. Looking at the night-sky... "Romanov is an important spill in this scheme here. It may be best if you're out of his neighborhood for a while so things can cool down. How much have you seen of these islands? Do you know the mountains to the east?" -
"And a good evening to you..", she replied. I need to speak with you. "Take a seat..." Elizabeth waved towards an empty chair and took a bottle from the cabinet. Filling two glasses with blood she gave one to the Primogen.
Pulling a chair close she sat down. And moved her hand to tell him to be quiet for the moment.
"I am not in the mood to go into a discussion here, so I won't. Just be informed that not all the LoRD's plans are known in detail too any of the lower ranks. Safety is crucial. As such... you will not interpret commands in youre own way anymore but follow them to the letter. If there is any doubt, you're mental abilities will always make sure you able to ask me for guidance in the matter. Are we clear on that!" -
"For me not much has changed...", Elizabeth said while drinking some of her wine.
"Buku is still oblivious to my real intent. And there is no file or code I can not reach or influence. I did however slowly extended some of my influence to other parts of the islands." -
Elizabeth Walked towards the living room of Villa Palm. She had a task suitable for the Primogen. As she didn't sensed him in the crypt he could be anywhere though.
Trusting that his mental abilities are at least a bit like he claimed she threw a random commanding thought for him to meet her. He should be able to hear. -
The black Rolls of the countess Báthory stopped at the entrance of the Cathedral. The Japanese driver stepped out and opened the door for his mistress. Elizabeth stepped out wearing a long black dress with a high split at the left side. She had a bare back and an elaborated black-rimmed hat to shield her face from the sun. For a moment she looked up at the structure, lowering her sunglasses a bit to take in the view. Not bad Erebus, not bad at all , she whispered to herself.
Walking through the entrance she looked at the art casually stopping at one to take a closer look. Sometimes showing a small hint of a smile as if she recognized it or even remembered.
The dining room doors where opened for her by two young servants. It was a large stone room with decorated walls.
I see that living in a cave can be rather luxurious indeed Elizabeth thought while she entered. She noticed the well filled table but ignored the food completely, slowly scanning who was there. The Hatesman was early this time, that was a first. Her blood-red eyes met a moment with those of Oracle, both acknowledging each other. Then she noticed Romanov.
Ah Alex, I see there is a good choice of wine. Please let me try a small glass too. It has been a while since I tasted a good Romanée-Conti., she said while taking a seat next to him. I am in a rather good mood today, the black oaf has been visiting his arms-depot for the past week and I havent seen him since. -
Makes me wonder how Arachnos keeps the Rogue Isles from getting extinct. If all villains there are free to kill whomever they wished. The rogue Isles would be desolated by now.
He must have some sort of law the majority sticks to. -
agreed...
Or make it as SG without being an SG... By way of using the friend list. As we can move certain friends from there towards global when I12 comes. The global list can hold up to 100 then.
We can clean the friend list and place the members on global. Then invite the LoRD's and their help into the friend list. That way we will really be secret. As there is no SG or special base for the LoRD's too. -
"I would very much like that Alex. We shouldn't forget that plots like this has to have some fun and relaxation in it...", she said while smiling to him. Gently touching his hand before pulling it back and returning to business.
"I take it we have nothing more to discuss for tonight. At least I have none... I would like to see you all again next week, same time, same place." Elizabeth looked to see if everyone still had any question or remarks. "And lets keep our eyes and ears open for possible hero attacks."
"I bid you all a good night." -
Priest's death?
I knew he was working on it.. but missed it. *read's up* -
"Placing papers in Buku's personal and military files placing Barzini as a mercenary would be child's play for me.", Elizabeth replies.
"I also have no problems with an outbreak like that... If Erebus can control its effects. There are some contacts that are carefully placed we need unharmed in any way. Is there an antidote available?"
She looked carefully at everyone... "Although we don't really need the army of Hatesman here at this point I have to state that I am still glad it is in position. I am always in favor of having several backup plans. And the ability to wipe these armies out by modern weapons is a good failsafe backup plan if all else fails."
"Also...", and this counts for us three mostly Erebus and Alex... I recall that the Priest is very good at localizing mystical forces. We have to shield our energies. Us three together will be like a beacon of power for anyone who actually knows where to look." -
Tarana
Kings Row Then
Behind the building the Skull gang of Tarana and her boyfriend Michael used, there stood a large truck. Several men where loading crates of superadine in the back. A Bone Crusher keeping track of the amount of crates.
The time was already 22:46 and the crates had to be at the meeting place in Steel Canyon on 00:00 precisely. Kalaks band of Trolls will be there with the money. So time was short. Tarana helped loading the crates. The cramp in her muscles ebbed down a bit and it kept her busy. She lifted the crates alone where most needed two or three men.
When the crates where all loaded Michael took his place next to the driver being the Bone Daddy of the gang. Tarana would be lookout and in the back together with several others.
She kissed her lover before jumping in the back. For good luck!, she said
The truck took back roads mostly managing to avoid the police patrols. The Bone Crusher behind the wheel obviously knew what he was doing. The trade would happen at one of the Storehouses in business centre. As far away from possible hero patrols as they could get.
The storehouse seemed abandoned but Kalak and a group of 4 trolls where waiting in front of it. He had a briefcase in his right hand. Michael stepped out first. His hands in full view to show that he wasnt carrying a weapon.
Tarana followed. Showing a small smile as she very well knew that both she and Michael wouldnt need any weapons if it would come to a brawl. The rest of the gang started to unload the superadine. Both gang leaders stepped forward leaving the rest of their men (and woman). Tarana noticed that the trolls had brought a truck too. It was standing in the alley next to the storehouse.
Kalak broke the silence first Youre on time Skull just. Is all in order?
Michael answered a bit grim, Of course Kalak 9 crated of superadine. In bottles. Unmixed, as we agreed upon. Enough to keep you and yours high for at least a year. Do you have my money?
Right here , Kalak said while lifting his arm showing the briefcase.
Lets do this then , Michael lifted his arm signing towards the Bone Crusher. Tarana and the Skulls placed the crated in-between the two leaders. Kalak placed the briefcase on top of one of the crates . When the Skulls returned to the car he opened it so Michael could count the money.
You will see its all there. He pointed out.
Michael did a quick but secure count. Then nodded his head and closed the briefcase. The briefcase was hardly closed or shot was heard. Kalak fell to the ground with a bullet hole between his eyes. All Skulls and Trolls grabbed their weapons. But before they even could blame each other the truck of the Skulls blew up. Tarana was blown away by the shockwave and landed against the wall of the storehouse. A bit dizzy she saw that the Bone Crusher had caught ablaze and was screaming for his life.
She shouted to him Idiot, do you want to have all Paragons heroes up here! Then she saw them. A large group of Hellions came out of the shadows. Their leader hit Michael hard, long before his dark powers could really materialise. Obviously Michael was caught by surprise just as she was. She felt the rage come over her and stormed upon the Hellion holding the money. She pushed him away and sprinted towards the window next to the large door of the storehouse.
Ive got her, Flashfire!, Tarana heard a female voice say. Ok, Dante you and the men load up the superadine then. Use the truck of the troll scum., the leader of the Hellions screamed while shots where heard. I didnt let you guys follow this shipment all from Perez Park for nothing!
Tarana broke the lock of the window and jumped inside in the hope to escape through the back. Inside she noticed that there was no backdoor. Muttering to herself how stupid she was to get herself trapped Tarana hid away as far in the back as she could. Checking out her options.
Outside her boyfriend and gang where badly wounded or dead. The Hellions had most members still fighting the Trolls. There had to be a way out.
Then she realized someone followed her inside. -

My 2 cents.
Isn't it amazing how many multi-millionaires / corporate heads we have around? There are only going to be so many people in Paragon with enough personal resources to throw into making a stupidly high tech suit for their own personal plaything. Not to mention the huge amount of R&D you'd need. Take the Crey Corp. Huge multinational and they're still working on developing "tank" suits that are more than target practice.
It'd be nice if some of the new powerarmoured ones took some of the suggested routes other than the "self built" one. If a dozen people suddenly pop out of the woodwork with a few hundred mil in the bank and their own infrastructure, it'll grate. But just think of how many discarded / damaged suits there must be out there after all this time and all those heroes.

My armored one inherited after Russia government fonded the project for years. His father was the creator of it. No Multi-muljionair here. -
Tarana
Female Block, Yard, The Zig - Now
The yard was busy. Only a few hours each day the inmates where allowed outside. For Tarana it was more then enough. Some where socializing and talking about their powers or what they did before they where arrested, others just enjoyed the rare sunny afternoon. Tarana was in a corner that had some dumbbells lying around. Sitting on a bench training her arms. She was completely oblivious of the people around her while she added weights almost the same as the super strength empowered women from her block.
One of the guards walked up to her... "Stromboli..."
Not used to be called that anymore Tarana ignored the man completely.
"Stromboli, front and center. You're lawyer is here!", the guard repeated himself. Hitting her dumbbell with his nightstick.
Not being able to ignore him anymore Tarana realized he was talking to her. "No-one calls me that anymore...", she mutters. She dropped the dumbbell and followed the guard. Very curious on how her mysterious lawyer would look like, having heard only a few words from him over the phone.
The interrogation room held a small table and two chairs. on the table was something that looked like a tape recorder. Behind the table was a slightly heavy man with a small beard. His black suit and case showed him to be the man in question. The door closed behind Tarana. "Who the hell are you!", she said.
"And good afternoon to you too, Ms. Stromboli.", he answered with a small smile and a wicked flicker in his eye. "I am Mr. Lomax. My employer Mr. Mason showed interests in you and made sure I was appointed as you're lawyer." He gestured for Tarana to sit down.
"What does he want from me!", she asked blunt while sitting down. Tarana was never someone with much patience to begin with.
"He wants you to be part of his new project... a team of loyal specialists. You showed much promise Ms. Stromboli.", Lomax folded his hands awaiting a response. He didn't had to wait long...
Tarana looked him straight in the face, "He is mad! ...and stop calling me that. If you have to call me Tarana! I am not a lackey to anyone."
Acting like he didn't hear her Mr. Lomax continued... "If you agree to not pursue Mr. Mason himself, obey him, or incriminate him in anyway... You will be outside these walls within a few weeks, max. In return you will act upon his requests in this newly formed team of specialists he likes to call ' The Cadre'. He also told me to hand you this..." He took a brown envelope out of the inside of his jacket and placed it on the table. "You might want to look at the insides before you decide."
"Can't hurt to look...", Tarana replies while grabbing and opening the envelope. Inside was a paper with a photograph attached. Upon looking at it Tarana's expression changed from grim to downright homicidal. "What the [censored] is this. How did you... I... I don't have a choice..." She squashed the paper in her fist.
Mr. Lomax looked up to her... "No worries, it is only a copy."
Tarana had a face like she had seen a ghost, "What do I have to do!"
"Make sure you are back in D-block again soon. The breakout will be from there. After that you will be brought to the Etoile Isles where you will be able to meet you're contact.", he answered while grabbing the ruined paper and dropping it in his suitcase.
A small smile showed on her face while she calmed down again... "Joe will be glad to see me back again." -
Elizabeth had been very thoughtfully and silent while listening to the conversation. She too was never a big fan of the man who calls himself Hatesman. Still it would be better to await and hear him out. She had her dealings with warlords like him, and some where able to be surprisingly handy in several occasions.
As for Primogen... She had done her research on him from the day she first met him. He had power, yes... And his claim to be connected to the source of all vampires was proven true. That was her sole reason of having him close. He could give her knowledge. Knowledge of the vampire race and all eons before her time. But she found out that he had his weaknesses for sure. He was far from unbeatable... although he himself would never acknowledge it.
Giving him a task as one of her generals gave her a way of directing him and feeding his ego. Therefore blinding the Primogen from all events around her. The ancient saying 'Keep you're friends close, but you're enemies closer.' was something she had experience with from old.
She knew what he was capable off, and would be two steps ahead of him if he would try to out step those bounds.
She nodded back to Romanov... "You are forgiven Alex. And I am sure as are you that someone will step up and take Alicia's place as head of the Gang. Someone always does."
"I will send word to wards the Primogen that henceforth he will handle the affairs of night breed around this islands using the underlings I have placed only. Or he will go back to Cap Au Diable immediately. The reason he is here is that I can't keep a perfect communication with all of them while I entertain the black oaf.", she raised her hand to sign Izumi. And he came rushing to her with a new glass.
"Although the neophytes he brought with him are of use. They are part of my personal guard if all goes wrong with this plan. I am sure you have you're 'escape routes' planned too Alex.", she raised her newly filled glass with a wicked smile.
"We seem to think alike in many ways..."
"Now... as long as we are waiting for the others to arrive... I don't have any spies close to the Militia. Can you assure me they are not yet on our tail. Has the Priest informed them of our business here?" -

hehehe.. and the character is copyrighted... Historical character s aren't copyrighted.
And from some .. like Dracula... the copyright is not valid anymore.
Also... if you base upon a real life historic figure. You can still be creative on what happened after history is done with it.

What do legalities like copyright have to do with plagiarising? The thread is about where the line lies between originality and outright copying. There are many many characters in game that are direct copies of fictional or historical characters. That's not a problem as such, but it IS plagiarising, unoriginal, and unimaginative.
I have a character that is the same; my aforementioned Olympiad Prime. It's blatantly clear that he's an Ironman near clone, and I make no secret of that, why should I? Like I said, it's not a problem as such, but one should admit to the lack of originality, and even embrace it. He makes a nice change sometimes from playing my original main character, Tiger White.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed... sometimes I am attacked for having a unoriginal character once too many. It results in me getting in a defensive mode.
Thruth is... I like Elizabeth. She is cool to play or role play. I like history, legend and lore. She provides that outlet. And I have proven several times now that I am able to make good worked out original characters too. She was just my first.
This game is all about feeling like a hero or a villain. To have some way to escape in a game. And we should never attack anyone on it or need to defend oneself because of that. Unless stuborness or unimaginative use of that selfsame character makes roleplay with it impossible.
Only issue here is that of breaking official copyright. Anything else should be up to the player who chooses to play what he likes. If an unoriginal character is what you like to play... and it keeps you in the game... Then go for it! -

I started my armored one long before the movie.. And of course I had Iron Man in the back of my mind. But him being the largest name in armored heroes .. that would bbe only obvious.
Its a russian though... and the suit is a Cryo-emmitting armor. I think I use the Mark versions from Iron Man too. But the origin is different, the powersets (he is ice/energy, Iron Man would be energy/energy).
My Uebermensch too can be seen as a rippoff of Superman... but lets be honest. There are so many superheroes already made in comics. As soon as you use the same powersets and slightly the same costume... it can be seen as a rippoff.
Unless you are reshaping the costume of said hero, use a name like W0lVer1ne, and make the bio the same... everything goes. -
"Alicia decided to step out of our little group. And this was bound to be the result. Even then... we didn't do this.", Elizabeth said with a cold voice waving her hand to the head on the table.
-
"I understand completly...", Elizabeth answered with a toned down blood red rage in her eyes. Her hand trembling until the glass filled with blood she was holding in her hand shattered.
"I gave order to one of my generals to build my power base further. But that did not include turning everyone of Barzini's hoods into a vampire."
"As you already stated... and we already discussed once... a country, or world, consisting of vampires only is not my goal or wish. As it would be a form of self-destruction. Cause if there are no humans, where do we feed upon."
"I cannot destroy him though, as he is somehow linked to the source of all vampires he is faithful but immune. Rest assured that the matter will be dealt with."
Her attention swifted to Alicia Barzinis head... "It's a shame of such a beautiful woman." Elizabeth picked up the head and kissed the lips. "My sources showed all that happened. The priest knows too much. We must take precautions."
"As for this young nightbreed..." She clapped her hands and Izumi appeared in the door. "Destroy this mistake!"
Izumi bowed deep "Hai, immortal mistress." In the same movement he drew a silver/steel ninjato from under his clothing. -

I PM'd Liz a while back about getting in on this. Is there any chance we can weave the Primogen into the plot somehow? I'm open to ideas.

Sure... As court member and things going as they are I try to write Primogen in as backup for Liz if you like. She can use a vanpire lord overseeing a growing night breed army. -
Elizabeth kept her cool and descided to stay in the background a bit. Maybe everyone would kill each other.
Around the villa a few unusual smart bats arrived, a few miles down the road a crypt slowly opened. Night fell and brought in reinforcements.
