  1. Between the enormous database of action figures unpainted I can actually find one that suits Elizabeth,,,

  2. Bloody Hell!!! I knew the day would come... we had timely warning. Stil it hurts to see you leave.

Take care in whatever you end up doing. And know you have done a great job the past years. Even though some PVP-ers seem to dissagree on some points. I am sure one day new changes will be made and another one can take the punches.
  3. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all...

    I hate snow

I am slowly getting used to it now that it stops falling down so often. But then again... Public transport is almost normal again.

Still.. snow is a lot nicer when looked upon from inside a warm house.
  5. Although I have more MM's I mostly play my main Necro/Dark/Soul.

After over 4.5 years she is incredible IO-ed out. Still I noticed, especially in the Apex, that tactic and strategy is needed to do real damage.

Send in T1 pets and they will be killed... but not before the DoT effect has started.
Use the time to hold/debuff the enemy with your secondary
Drag a ghost from one of the bodies
    Resummon all and kill off

Since she is incarnate END is no problem anymore (Cardiac END/RESS). Although the new tf's are capable of still draining me of END due to using so much. I have and use personal attacks too... and I run fitness: Tough too. But with enough END resummoning is no problem at all.

    Some pointers...
    - The resummon time of Grave Knights is really really fast. And at times like with Battle Maiden I only summon them.
    - Stay close to your pets if you can. Supremacy is a powerful tool. That is also the reason I upped my HP, my REGEN and my RESS so much. Even though I am not a real Tankermind.
    - Don't underestimate your secondary. At times I play more like a Corr with some added help then like a MM. And I hardly use Bodyguard mode at all.

Still... Every MM plays a bit different. And none are mindless hacking. Playing an MM holds some feeling with it, and I would never recommend one for a starting player.

I want the leveling to 50 to be real quick, then the developers can make all future content for level 50s.

What if I want to try out an illusion controller some weekend? Its weeks of "work" through stuff I've done many times before until I get the higher illusion powers. The content is not "skipped" I've done it all before.

The game is build with the new player in mind who shouldnt skip the content at all.. As the new player would never have done it.

Hell No! on both accounts (from a 54 months vet who also done it all)
  7. Agreed... we need more like these.

Managed Apex yesterday with a PuG! Didnt manage to take out Battle Maiden in 15 min though. Will try Tin Mage asap.
  8. I was planned to be there the second raid... but real life took over with a vengeance
  9. My strategy was fullout attack.. dont think.. and use debuffs. Thats all.. Thank you
  10. Got the common Cardiac last night.. Pretty easy too. Bought the G'Rai matter (I had already over 1000 Vanguard merits) and then went to do an ITF (for the Nictus Essence)... and during that tf I got enough drops to make the Hero 1 DNA sample. Presto!

Today bought my second G'Rai matter. And I still have some shards left from the ITF. So I will do a LGTF and most likely can build the uncommon directly after.

I find doing two tf's for two alpha boosts is easy... maybe too easy :S

ps... The Alpha slot boosts will work the best on things you are not the best in. As a boost to your weak side. As it is liek adding an extra enhance to all powers that can handle that enhance. If you are an almost capped defence toon... I should actualy take the damage resist. I went for Cardiac as I still have END probs in big battles and I grabbed three diff damage resist powers that each are not that good. But the Cardiac will add a good amound of ress to each of those powers. Adding up in the best numbers I could get from it. Oh.. and I use fear too.. and range is always good.
  12. Life-times are for games that actually are unsure if they still excist in 3 years time. Grabbing as much money as you can get at the start...

Monthly subs are a lot more reliable.. and in the long run earn a LOT more money. Life-time subs are a bad idea for games that do well. And COX does very well in the reliable sub part.

I confess that some of my negative reaction is because I play this game to try to escape reality... but as soon as I log in, I'm surrounded by people, acting like people, with all that implies. Atlas Park broadcast on many servers is a fine proof of Humans Are (lazy, greedy, selfish) Bastards, as if we needed more.

Throwing the detonator out the window is awesome in the movie, but let's face it: most people here would mash the button immediately if it meant saving their level 50s, and [bleep] everyone on the other ferry. Doubly so if you actually got xp for them. The Devs' biggest sin in creating AE was trusting and having faith that the players would be better than that. Well, you sure showed them, huh? That'll learn 'em to ever give you the benefit of the doubt!

So yes, for me at least, it comes down to anger and disappointment at my fun being (partly) spoiled by my fellow humans' petty (not Epic) FAIL.
I love this post! It is so true...

On trapdoor I was still solo... I run against him while he was debuffed with Darkest night and tar patch.. with all zzombs out. I cannot recall him ever making a clone. I havent seen him using his powers. I might have missed it. Just threw all powers I had on him with pets on aggressive. It took about 20 sec I think.

    And I was on +1/x3

My solution and suggestion to the devs is simple then!

MAKE SURE THIS MISSION CANNOT BE DROPPED!

Incarnate should be hard to become. I actually asked one friend and we duo-ed it on +1/x3 with AV's.

Also... we where both villain... we pulled two shivan's. And we both activated Demonic Aura. And then aggroed both AV's whahahahahahaaha... And won!

That is generalisation... Still run a highly active villain SG and have done so for over 4.5 years. UNION villain side still has a few hundreds at least.

    Steamy Mist: 35ft stealth, 5% def(all), 20% Fire/Cold/Energy res, 216.25% Confuse res, -8.65 Confuse
    Shadow Fall: 35ft stealth, 5% def(all), 20% Psionic/Energy/Negative res, 216.25% Fear res, -8.65 Fear

Arctic Fog doesn't grant full-spectrum defense, but the damage resistance it grants is commonly encountered and slows are more common than Confuse and Fear in PvE. Steamy Mist and Shadow Fall only differ by two damage types and the status effect; Shadow Fall has an advantage of granting Psionic resistance, which can be found fairly often, but resistance can be hard to come by.
My WELLSLOTTED Shadow Fall gives enough Negative Energy ressistence to tank the Imperious TF. And Shadow Fall + Stealth IO makes me able to ghost very well too. Also... since I have Shadow Fall I havent been feared once in all those years).

    @chaos nex

I think snow storm is underrated in both pve and pvp. Autohit massive slow and -recharge.
Can you say three minions constantly trying to get up while being forced in the corner of the room against the wall. With a brute or scrapper or a Lightning Storm next to them..?

My main hardly touches the ground.. Hover is ALWAYS on. No melee damage.. and great control to do things like Howling Twilight or Soul Tentacles. And then the added defence... and a place to slot a LotG 7.5% recharge in.

Whahahaha... there are actually people thinking Howling Twilight is a bad power?!

Yes.. This is a mass debuff that has a group ress as side effect. I am always laughing my head off when I totally stun a whole mob (auto hit, no acc check) for over 18 seconds while my whole mob of zombies run in and kill them all.

Especially agree on Thunderclap... Took it because of the awesome sound... Slotted with three acc. (the acc is low on this power).

It stunns over 80% of the mob you are hovering above. That has to count for something.

Ok... I tried last weekend... This is what I came up with. I should clean it up and such. And I am terrible in digital drawings (never learned).
