i dont believe a word of this, sorry. If it was true, you should have made these PvE changes before PvP went to test. you nerfed the perma powers soley because of the effitiveness in PvP... i dont recall anyone saying anything about Elude, MoG, and LF being "not as intended" before PvP... do you?

Just because they don't say theres a problem doesen't mean there ISN'T. -

1. SJ/SS have worked this way since launch and yet only now is it so much of a problem that it had to be fixed.
[/ QUOTE ]
1) New players are constantly coming into the game, which means eventually that things which were not a problem before/were a minor problem are becoming BIG problems. (Much like a program can be out on the market for years before people figure out how to exploit things).
2) It was a low enough priority that they felt other issues were more important to fix, or they've been looking at it for awhile and finally decided that this was the best way to try to fix things. -

True, but your:
A) Not paying 15 bucks a month for it.
[/ QUOTE ]
True, but you're also definitely never getting any new content for it. Their model is to release new expansions every quarter of the year to keep earning money. So, depending on how much these expansions cost, you might actually end up paying more than a MMOG if you try to keep up with all the expansions.
[/ QUOTE ]
True also, but then people still play Diablo 2 online without getting any new content for it. So really, you don't HAVE to buy the expansions if you don't want to. -

Sure the PVE is fun but its really good a big PVP focus, and all that entails ("Nerfs"/"Adjustments")

True, but your:
A) Not paying 15 bucks a month for it.
B) Can switch skills in and out in towns and outposts, allowing you to customize to meet the demands.
C) Limited to only eight skills while in a mission/adventure area, thus making it alot harder to hit upon that "magic bullet" of skills and L00t that will make you Uber. -

I won't be paying much longer if my enjoyment is curtailed.

Nor is anyone asking you to.
Well, Mattman might. He's a jerk like that. -

but what the hell is the point of nerfing it in the first place then?
[/ QUOTE ]
Actually, I would like to know that myself. -

Thankfully, the ACC debuff will not affect me since I always shut SJ off before I get into a fight anyways.
[/ QUOTE ]
Really... SJ and SS are just end hogs in combat... it seems like the only thing the nerfs will do in PvE is limit alpha strikes.
Well then, there is that annoy flying opponent you can't hit without hover...
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly. Theres no real point in having SS or SJ on in combat, at least none that *I* can tell. -
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah..
What is guildwars anyway? Anyone have a helpfull link?
[/ QUOTE ]
Guild Wars is sort of like Diablo 2 the MMO. Only without a monthly fee, and a bit more strategy in setting up your skills. -

I swear to god, sleepy, that Avatar is so disturbing yet adorable at the same time.

I think the poster was referring to the fact you can't BOTH spay AND neuter something.l
[/ QUOTE ]
You can if its a Hemaphrodite. -

And?!

And what? The Little Dog just fainted. If only he could have won that box of Grandma's Doggy Treats... -
And remember folks, make sure to have your scrappers spayed and/or neutered.

Oh.. my.. god.. What is next? CoH ring tones? A breackfast ceral? Statesman underwear?
[/ QUOTE ]
Man, I'd kill...er, I mean arrest...for the Williams Square (FF) music as a ring tone.
[/ QUOTE ]
And I don't think that it'd be difficult to get Cafe Press to do up some underwear.

Hmm....While the only CCG game Ive played seriously is Magic: The Gathering, I suppose this would probably be worth trying out. I never played L5R or any CCG made by the company that makes this though, how is it compared to Magic? Or is it so different that you can't even compare it type of thing?
[/ QUOTE ]
If you have never played anything other then Magic, then I *highly* recomend you try to get your hands on some decks of either Doomtown or Netrunner. Both are worthy of the time, effort, and cash to aquire them.
(I mean, Doomtown actually has you playing Poker to resolve gunfights. You really can't beat that) -

Gotta love the Doctor Demento show...
And one of the best parts of Summoner was finding the little bonus clip that they made (The IFilm Clip) using that bit from the Dr. Demento Show... -

You know, Fyre's name always makes me thing of a big white guy with a beer belly thats on fire. Like the Redneck version of the human torch or something.

LMAO!!!!!!
My very first COH character was a scrapper named Slayer Faith. When I got my own account I decided to remake my little scrapper and give her a name that was less of a potential copyright infringment.
Firecracker is an extremely obscure "Buffy" reference that still worked for the character concept. It, of course, was taken. Hence Fyrecracker.
But you sir, have given me a whole new perspective on the name. I'm not sure I can ever play my little scrapper again without giggling.

Just as long as your method of flight doesen't involve asking one of your fellow heroes to pull your finger. -

Am I the only one who's offended here? After looking through all those screenshots, and seeing that women can adjust the size of their McGuffins, and yet we men don't get a slider to adjust our Package?
It's Sexism, I tell you! -
I remember when I first found my Zeus Mech in a Booster Pack!
...No wait, that was Mechwarrior: Dark Age. Never mind. -

I remember when Lady Liberty (Or miss Liberty, don't remember 100%) started accusing people on the Beta Forums about her name being stolen back during the whole name reservation debacle.
[/ QUOTE ]
That was actually settled by the forum member Miss Liberty getting word from the devs that she would be "accepting the mantle" from the other Ms. Liberty. Never really did hear much of her once the game was past a few months old.
[/ QUOTE ]
Still, it was amusing how many people were screaming about having their names "stolen". -
I remember when Lady Liberty (Or miss Liberty, don't remember 100%) started accusing people on the Beta Forums about her name being stolen back during the whole name reservation debacle.
I remember people also screwing over other people during the name reservation process, by trying to reserve multiple names.
I remember Drayvis, and how he was a bigger Jerk then I am. (If you can believe that).
I remember when Marvel wasn't trying to sue Cryptic.
I also remember how people threatened that Smoke Grenade being fixed, Hasten being changed, Capes being at level 20, and Burn being changed were all gonna cause the end of City of Heroes. (Nope. Don't see that yet)
