When I thought about joining the channels I presumed they would be the same across both servers - same names, same uses. It would be nice to achieve this, but I suspect there is too much momentum now to swap things around.

As long as there are some channels and players can find them (GG, should the Defiant channels be noted in the New Player sticky post?) I can't imagine it matters a great deal what they're called or what they're used for.

The important thing is that players use them.

Not a problem. Well done to you for getting it started. Any effort to organise this sort of thing is to be applauded and those of us in one of the Blue teams had a good time both watching and killing ourselves at the end. I'd sign-up if you were sorting out another one.

Never nice when this happens. Sorry to hear about it when 99% of the people in the game are good people (or evil people if they're villians ).

I wouldn't let it bother you at all (easier said than done sometimes).

I've now joined these two channels and they do seem a lot more populated. Thanks for the answers guys. See you on there. I've also kept Chat running as well, just in case anyone decides to log on to it like I did.

Following on from the New Player Initiatives, I thought I'd make an effort to join in a bit more and log on to the various channels.

Defiant Chat
Defiant Auctioners

Badgehunters seems to have a couple of people in it. Chat didn't exist, and Auctioners I've not checked out as I've hit my channel limit (with Union ones as well).

Does anyone else use these? Should we all join them, and should they be published, even if it's just a good place to chat? Have I got the spellings correct? Am I on everyone's global ignore and don't realise it? Is everyone hiding on the Auctioners channel? Should Auctioneers be Auctioneers? If we are going to run them can we set a MoTD (I tried on the chat one, but couldn’t get the command to work)? Are there too many questions here? Should I have made it in to a bullet point list? How do I get my kitten out of my printer?

Wishing I'd not started reading the forums earlier today as I wanted to do some RL stuff.

What would make you return to CoH?:

Not stopped playing since I started the game despite calls from friends to move to LoTRO. Have not intention of going.

I've never done an Hami raid before, so would love to join in (I'll get reading). Only one level 50:

Colonel Combat, Eng/Eng Blaster, Blue Team.

Never nice when it happens.

I'll also offer any base salvage if you need it as we have about maxed out and I don't think we'll be increasing the size for many RL years.

Also if you want a link via a small SG with all the TPs, med bay etc. happy to offer that. Not sure which server you're on, but look me up on Defiant if that's any help.

I love this. Well done on the design - the look and feel makes my base a poor show (which it is).

A couple of questions:

When I get sometime later I'll try to post pictures of our base, as I'd love to make it look better while still remaining useful.

Thanks. We're only a small SG and I'm always interested in getting the most out of the base, while making sure it still looks good, so this might be of use.

I've downloaded a copy and when I get a spare minute I'll have a look at it.
