Phase Five: All mitos are cleared the people in your team with recall friend and resurrect will stay far away, so they can teleport people out later. Then we attack the Hamidon itself. When it reaches 75% , 50% and 25% health, it will respawn all the mitos. This will probably result in mass deaths. The teleporters will teleport everyone to a safe spot and resurrect will follow. After a few tanks are resurrected we could lure a GM and use a Dark Miasma resurrect.
^Can't do this. GM's clear the zone at Hami spawn, get a TA Defender or Controller and Oil Slick to mass rez people.

Remember the essence of the earth inspirations guys.
You get them by killing DE monsters.
Friday evening and suday during the day i will set up some farming teams, but everyone should have about 10-15 EoE inspirations, so you might want to form teams to get them yourself.
Sorry, for not updating the teams.
I hope we can make some teams at 19:30- 20:00 today.
There will be lots of people ( many have posted on the forums, in-game tells, e-mails etc.) so be on time, else the hive may be full.
I am sorry the Hamiraid went so bad.
One thing the guide that we used to make the raid plan didn't mention was the stuns we would get. It never was mentioned that tanks and scrappers would get stunned.
Looking back at it, we needed more healers/buffers/debuffers and less melee damage.

Actually, if you read my guide I specifically say that Hamidon and the Mitos will mez over any status protection, so everyone needs a TON of CM or other mez protection buff.
Also you wouldn't have killed a mito anyway. Like i said at least three times on broadcast during the raid, and once during a tell to you, you NEED to have a team attacking the green mitos at the same time as the yellows are being attacked so that the greens don't just insta-heal all the damage off the yellows.
Not sure if this applied to anyone else, but seeing anything from you in broadcast would have been very hard after having /ignored you for being as abusive as you were.
Perhaps the helpful pointers were just thinly disguised under abusive and unhelpful outbursts.

Still think it's the fast and easy way to get a HO?
Seriously... Sorry that it didn't work out, but I can't say I'm surprised. They've basically ruined the Hami-raid IMHO.
Yes It IS supposed to be hard, but getting a full 50 man team with pro players that all know exactly what to do is hard. Having done that, shouldn't result in a tedious grind (also see the MoGing (cencored) in Recluse SF). It's supposed to be fun.
Actually I kind of liked the old raid. It was a community event. They could've made slight alterations to make it slightly harder (über mez protection or something) and kept the community spirit of it. The Mothership raid is a nice addition, but I'd really like to see more community oriented raids.

Not a problem. Well done to you for getting it started. Any effort to organise this sort of thing is to be applauded and those of us in one of the Blue teams had a good time both watching and killing ourselves at the end. I'd sign-up if you were sorting out another one.
Thanks again and here's some pic's for a laugh.
He's here!
Some of those stood on the rock.
If you download and play these next three one after another you can watch one of the tankers bounce aross the ground as he gets hit.

Talking about pancakes is abusive?
Seriously though - the US has Hami down quite often, no reason we can't if people don't mind a few failed attempts until we get the hang of it.

Did you ever think some people might be on a diet?!?!?
Also, you could roll with some Bubblers to sort out the Mez protection issue. Bubblers and some people spamming CM as backup maybe?

what.
I said something along the lines of "does anyone here like pancakes?" when i first came into the hive, and then I believe I said "disco do you want to be friends forever" and then "Sam is the best name".
Point out for me where the abusive part is?
edit: ok i did shout HEY GUYS IM XANTHUS WHATS UP on request when i first came into the hive but really how abusive is that?
Fair enough. But making a stab at Grand Senei Kakashi, Disco and Myself (all SG members and friends), tad hard not to take it personally. 37ish + heroes trying out a hami raid, you charging in, shouting pancakes and stabbing at someone jesting about needing to use ignore_spammer simply does not sit well with me. That's all. I was just surprised, ran plenty of mothership raids with you and respect you as a player. Just made the hami raid even more unpleasant for me

Ok, well I didn't mean to come off as particularly offensive, i was just making a jibe at someone who's obviously quite a large fan of Naruto (at least, large enough to emulate one of the characters in a videogame and then play that character for a substantial amount of time).

I wasn't trying to shout, but ok. Honestly, you should see the US hami raids - my one or two lines of chat are nothing compared to them.

....I've never actually done a mothership raid. I don't think I've even spent more than 20 minutes in the crash site at any one time (I'm probably missing out on stuff here), although perhaps you know me from somewhere else.
Sincerest apologies! Perhaps I have mistaken you for someone else.
To be perfectly honest, I've not played state-side, and thus I'm not going to quiet anything that makes me feel uncomfortable just because it's "worse over there", and I personally don't think a toon's name/tribute is *anything* to be called on, but this is certainly nothing for us to be fighting over. You have my deepest apologies for having called you out on it
PLS DON'T POST IN THIS THREAD, IT'S ONLY FOR INFORMATION !! POST IN THE HAMDON RAID , SUNDAY 25 NOVEMBER 20:00 THREAD.
Plan for the hami-raid on 25 november 20:00
We will follow the plan described in this link :
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/index.php/Hamidon_Raid (thanks Amigo)
General rules:
NO costumes with Auras or Wings or Capes, there will be enough lag without them !
EVERYONE needs Essence of the Earth (EoE) inspirations.
HAMIDON does untyped damage, so no shields work. Only EoE protect you.
INSTUCTIONS will be given on the request channel. Please have it open in your current tab.Dont use the request channel to chat or ask questions, use broadcast or local for that and ask your teamleader.
If you dont like DEBT or getting KILLED a couple of times, dont come to the raid.
TEAMWORK is essential, so do as the raidleader says and follow the instructions of your teamleader.
Reading the guide I came up with the following plan:
A: Special teams will be formed . these are:
Main Tank team: 2 Tanks, and a couple of ranged healers. They will needs lots of essence of the earth inspirations(EoE).
Yellow team: Melee attack, this means up to 6 Scrappers or Tanks and 2 healers.
Blue teams: Ranged attack, this means up Blasters, Controllers, Defenders and Kheldans.
Each team should have about 2 ranged healers.
Green teams : Hold attack , this means mostly Controllers, but if you have a hold power, you can help too. While the green team holds, everybody else can help with the damage.
Heal /buff team : a team used to heal and buff everyone. also needed to heal people after the wipe after the bloom.
To form these teams, the teamleaders need to know your AT, if you have powers like group fly, inertia reduction etc. The aim is to get balanced teams, this will probably mean you wont be able to stay in a SG team or teamed with friends.
Phase One: in this phase we will clear some mitos near each other. This will give the main tank room to taunt Hamidon. Everybody can attack, but should be using EoE. Move in a clockwise way, attack your teamleaders target.
Once there is some room, everyone retreats and the main tank moves in. He will taunt Hamidon so we get less damage. The next phases will start near the tank.
Phase Two : The Yellow teams move in and attack the yellow mitos. Essence of the earth inspirations will be needed. If we have one team, we will move clockwise, with 2 we will move anti-clockwise too.
Phase Three : The blue teams move in and attack the blue mitos from a distance. A main blue targetter will be named. Move clockwise.
Phase four: the green teams hold the green mitos. Again , there will be a main targetter. While the green team holds the mitos, everyone can attack them. Move clockwise.
Phase Six to twenty : we repeat phase Two to Five, until the Hamidon is defeated.
