[To the tune of "Rockstar"]
...
Everyone who levels will wind up there
See the girl who's golden with no moving hair
And...

I'm gonna trade this drop for monetary fame
I'll even pay six pound to change my name
...
S-K a friend, go that extra mile
Everybody's got a farmer on speed dial
Now...

Some great lyrics. Loved it. Kept me awake for another half hour. -

Well Done, makes my solitary one...look quite pathetic now!

I think we should have a club for all of us that haven't managed more than one level 50. We should take the trophy and display it proudly.
Gratz Cynic. -
Yeah. Gratz on another level 50. I'm hoping 14 has been done over the course of three years.
-
Captian_Solaris did an excellent template here . And, yes, making it sticky would be a good idea.
Here's my addition:
Name: Wizards Inc
Web: Wizards Inc
Contacts: @LeighB
Notes: A small Super Group thats been around for a couple of years. Originally started for a group of friends, but now open to any who want to join. Most players are casual, and I dont think anyone will mind saying, of the older generations. You should find us friendly and helpful, with a useful base and some experienced players. We play to have fun rather than as power gamers and were always happy to offer advice. -
I love this idea. I'm away for the weekend so no chance of joining in.
Thanks for setting it up, hopefully there will be others later in the year.
(One year, when I have loads of influence I'll do one.) -
I'd love to see more people posting pictures of their bases on this side. (Mainly because I need more ideas.
)
-
Yeah. Excellent build.
I still think the arcane style has more scope than the tech' one. One day there will be an issue that improves all the base stuff. One day. -
I can't believe 3.5 million doesn't make the top 100.
-
Excellent work, loved the design and layout.
I did find it slightly difficult to read the text (couldn't read the chat window at all, but the could have been intended). Could you make it bigger next time? -
(Used and abused. Many thanks.)

Probably could do with a link in the New Players on Defiant top post. I can't think of anything else to add at the moment. -

SPAWNUS:
Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, bloody Ouroboros that was, drink a cup of acidic Respite, work twenty-nine hours a day fighting Hamidon, and pay Hamidon for permission to attack him....her.....it, and when we got home, Statesman and Miss Liberty would kill us and dance about on our graves singing the Atlas Park Theme.

Brilliant. This bit alone is perfection. Excellent work. -
Yay. Happy New Year guys (and girls.
)
I'm off to celebrate and looking forward to another fun year, and some new stuff in the game. -
Psy, I'd like to echo everyone else's comments. These are great. Well done on the work.
IMO they're not too cute and have the balance just right. They remind me of those keyring comic characters. I can't remember what they're called, but a friend bought me a Hell Boy one last year.
Keep up the excellent work. -
These have a been around a few years now but I still enjoy watching them and I thought I'd share them as they may appeal to others as well.
Enjoy.

Any help, small items of furniture, or which cans of paint to buy would be more than welcome. I can send you more pictures, or you can pop in and do a make over.
-
Thank you all. I was pleased with it and the SG members like it as well.
You're right, GG, it does need some more decoration in the main room (one of the corners is particularly bare), but I haven't decided what yet and colours etc. aren't my strong point (ever).
-
Well I've finally got around to changing the base after the two lots of influence (thanks again to Kerensky and the guys).
Below is an overview and some pictures of the various rooms. Any ideas or feedback are always welcome and maybe this'll give others a few ideas.
By way of background we're an SG with six active members and it's taken us just over two years of casual play to achieve this. We've tried to make the base interesting but also practical in layout.
Enjoy.
Base Overview
Entrance - right to the TPs and left to the meeting room.
TPs - these are arranged in alphabetical order.
Small Workshop - this designed as a stop point if you need inspirations having been res'ed. and coming in from the medbay.
Medibay - right to TPs and left to meeting room.
Large workshop - extra storage and workbenches. and some more one, two and three.
Meeting Room - just for fun.
Control Room - one and from eye level. -
We've got nine TPs and this is more than enough for Heroes as a couple of the TP points don't really get used.
IMHO the large TP room isn't worth the money as one can just put four small rooms in a circle and it's a lot cheaper (although doesn't look as good).
Also, remember Ouroboros is easy to get to and has exists to quiet a few zones.
I hope this helps. -
I can't remember what we have at the moment for control but it just covers 9 TPs and a pillar of Fire and Ice.
The only extra bits I'll be adding are the meeting room and the increased plot size. -
Hi Guys,
Now that the SG has some extra cash we're nearly at the point where we can afford an increase in plot size. The intention is to still have the useful things like TPs, Med and workshops, but also add a more social room. Below are some layouts which I've been thinking of. Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Central Meeting Room
Circular TPs
Larger Meeting Room and row of TPs
The one we can't afford - yet. -
Yay!
I'm over halfway to my second level 50 now. I'm looking forward to this feeling too. -

btw.. I have a mystic base and I just placed it in my dungeon/Sanctum Sanctorum setting. It s easy in place there. No need for any fancy stuff
[/ QUOTE ]
We are called Wizards Inc so maybe it should all be changed to Mystic instead.
I like the idea of power cables etc. I'll have a play tonight. -
Last night I took the opportunity to place a Pillar of Fire and Ice in our SG base. The disappointing thing is that it was to go in the control room (I understand the idea behind it going there), and this along with the power room we have always put to one side and left undecorated.
Does anyone have any good designs for tech' control rooms for small bases that look good so the pillar doesn't look too out of place or just sat in a bare room with a big computer?
(I'm a not very good at making the base look good, as you might have guessed.)
