I took Isil for a spin and racked up a few assists on kills but only about 500 bounty collected, as a couple of guide say ma/rgn isn't really for pvp.

I found nrg/nrg to be a much better bet. Trouble was that by the time the server had realised I'd fired a power, the target was dead. But I did manage to snipe a few naughtly villans trying to sneak behind our valiant boys as above aim + buildup ftw.

I thought that the Drnes could see through Invis etc. But I've been done a couple of times whilst outside the hospital. That has two drones outside and two outside the gate. They only got the stalker after he'd given me a steel infusion.

Maybe I got it wrong.

How much damage can a lvl 30 assasins strike do with one hit?

I ask becuase when I was bouncing around the zone the other day taking out a few masterminds I got one shot AS'd by a stalker right outside the hospital. Now @ lvl 30 I have aprox 900 hit points. Even with a few reds and a soul drain I can only pump out 500 odd dmg in one power.

I'm not moaning about it, it adds to the spice. The only time it was anoying was when I got AS'd for the 3rd time just as I came out of the hospital.

Would love to bring some dark defending, but I will be up holding the good name of the new blood's with my main.

Monday the 12th daytime I will be trying to get all of the badges for the Archmage acolade. Which is a 100/200 Mask from the BP, 100/200 Illusion pets (carnies), 100CoT mages and 100 Tsoo Sorcers.

So if anyone has some Carnie missions or just wants to pitch in with a long hunting session, either day, let me know.

I am also open to suggestion on other badges ppl want.

Would energy or devices be a better 2ndary for a pvp build?

I was thinking devices for the targeting drone, caltrops and the cloaking device.

But on the other hand nrgy does the best dmg.

@Tufty. The power cloak of darkness is a must for pvp. Not only does it give good stealth, but it gives a big perception bonus. Very useful. Spot those stalkers early.

I want to get into pvp and if you guys are around tomorrow night, I'll give you a shout. I can pully my MA/RGN over and I also have a troller growing up fast for pvp.

Are they infact feasable for pvp might have been a better question.

Has any one had much exp of playing a PB or WS in PvP?

I can't really see an angle which would mean that they would own in PvP.

Freezing rain and huricane is a top combo. esp in indoor missions, bung FR in a dead end or corner, then heard all the mobs into it with huricane.

And just for fun you can wander round outside, knocking mobs off of rooftops in most maps.

I will be there. But at the usual 715ish.

It's my first time of posi as well.

Currently I have 2 rechrg, 1 def debuff and 1 slow in my instance of this power.

It seems to work fine even against purp mobs.

Any one got any ideas on how to respec a lvl 23 D3 for PvP. Money is no object for SOE's etc.

I am open to any suggestions.

Come join the SNHS. There are at least half a dozen lvl 20+ dark/dark defs. Me included.

The idea was for me to retire or delete one.

I think I'll switch White Wraith over to the SG from the SNHS. I feel D3's could do well in pvp. After doing some area, I know the fear attacks work.

Next for the pvp respec. Any ideas?
