You know you want a PB rather than that nasty defenderiey type stuff.

I have OG with 5 slots and have 5 Stupify's for the set bonus's. Although I now have 2 Absolute Amazements so I'm thinking of putting 5 of those in for the better bonus's.

As you are a spines/DA I would 100% go against putting the chance chance for KB in there. I had it for a while and it is 100% annoying as when the chance happens it sends all the mobs hit that tick flying backwards..

You must get shadow punch, smite and shadow maul asap and get them slotted with acc.

Basically as said above, the SR defence bonus's prior to IOs suck and suck end as well. Get those three and go for quick kills.

Whats your SG/Coalition like? You should be able to get teams though them.

If you fancy jumping ship and joining a more active coalition, give me a shout.

You are correct, CoF is a -5% tohit buff. IIRC wasn't something like -75% tohit buff in I3, at which time is was teh ubber or how ever you say it.

I have both OG and CoF on mine and it large teams without AoEr's, I use CoF as it tends to root the mobs, where as OG has a tendencey to make them wander off, which can be anoying...

As for the set IO slotting issue with scrappers, I was mostly against slotting huge numbers of Set IOs when I wrote the orgional version of my DM/DA guide. I couldn't see the point in spending 400mil on set IOs to basically lower the overal enhamcement of a given power.

Since then I have spent many hours with mid's HP and about 320mil on IOs/salvage to now be about 4 IOs short of full slotted. I'm very impressed with the results. I can now solo much faster than before, no need to rest at all. My end bare never drops below 85% odd % unless I'm fighting end drainers. I teams I fell I can be even more self sufficiant by never really needing to be healed etc.

From my point of view I would say Dark Armor over regen, purely because I am a slightly lazey player. I like to toggle up when I logon and then just worry about attacks. Regen has more click activate powers which I tend to forget to activate, causing muh debt.

As for the dark vs regen in the small solo mob stakes, now fully IO'd up I have none of the end worries of before and I can only remember 1 ocasion recently when I had any isses at all solo and that ocasion was a safeguard against a lvl 52 nin/nin villan.

So to sum up, the way of the scrapper is charge in and mash buttons.
Then either a) die or b) say regen/dark ftw (delete as aplicable)

I'm sure that Kick from the fighting set doesn't cause redraw.

It never did when I had it on my storm/archery defender.

I say a fine example of how not to take a cyst the other night.

7 man team, two fire trollers, 2 offenders (ran + kin),ice tank, BS/regen scrapper, my PB.

I suggest bs scrapper goes in with a shivan a takes it out. Tank ignores and ploughs in followed by his pet offenders, firepimps and scrapper.

They agro two mobs of Nemesis and the cyst. All die within 3 secs apart from me because I was proceeding rapidly in the other direction as soon as I saw them pile in....


So the main lesson is either listen and solo or
go in the other direction.

I would assume that the unbound nictus do Nictus Damage, hence the issue with lots really putting the hurt on.

TBH once you get to a reasonable level you should have no trouble with any of them. Cysts can be an issue if a team blunders into one and it spawns a [censored] load of nictus. Otherwise tream like any other mob.

You can slot the stealth IO's in nova form I believe.
COuld make for easier traveling and safer blasting.

Well as the Broadsword was a middle ages weapon used mostly by knights for close comabat normally in conjunction with a shield. It would have to be one handed.

I think if you check a few sites the BS they have in game is far too big. It's getting on for Bastardsword size maybe even verging on Greatsword size.

I would say DM/SR or DM/DA

But then I've always had a thing for the darkside.....

DM/SR is ToTM especially in the US. With some carefully thoughtout slotting the acc debuff from DM works very well with def based sets.

IF you make it up to 4 Impervium armors in each toggle, you loose about .5% bonus, but gain 2.25% max end.

I normally suggest tough to make things easier for a /DA, but @ 26 days for 1-50 I guess you don't need it that much..

What does the end drain work out @ when running all those toggles?
