I would have to go with Fire/Therm or Fire/Kin or Ice/Kin depends what you like. I like to debuff and deal damage so i went Fire/Thermal. If your forte is buffing people and doing insane amounts of damage then go */kin. Ice has more "rain" type damage which is nice for AV fights especially if you use them when they are < 50. Some people like Fire cause it does do more damage with all its ST attacks, good AoE, and DOT's.

Oh and Chaos Creator is right Debuffing without buffing would be Fire/Dark..

I am glad they added hard content to the game now. Its not ALL about "Hey dude my defenses are softcapped why am I not a god?!" Now you have to debuff the right targets instead of just smashin your buttons as soon as they appear. It just requires coordination, organization, and dedication. Enjoy the new content guys/gals! As for the bug on that bot that scales as long as he is alive or w.e. they should put a cap on it but just kill it fast then

Alright... So I have been trying to think of something I liked in pvp, i have tried a psi/em Blaster but eh too squishy for my taste and no way to escape kinda annoying for me. How well does energy work? I heard WP is supper cheap but I also heard Regen is great too.. What do you guys think? Thanks ahead of time for the help!

Microcosm didn't you have a build thrown together for KM/Elec? If you do have one may I take a look at it? That would give me somewhere to start

I get what you mean by no synergies Microcosm =( FA for me wasn't a choice since i have a SS/Brute something different would be nice so ElecArmor looked sick but it does seem that shield is the way to go sadly

Yes.. It sounds weird doesn't it, but is it actually viable? I have been looking around for a build but there seems to be none... Either my search fu has gone bad OR KM/Sheild is just that good :P If anyone has any builds on KM/ I would love to see them ^^Thanks ahead of time

Well when i20 releases then I will see what to do, but for now that is probably the hardest thing for me right now is to decide what Alpha to use... I mean they all have their +'s you know, but what would help maximize my stalker has always been the troubling question...

Eh.. AoE Defense sits at 42.5% which for me works just fine if your THAT worried about that then mess around with the build I am sure you can pump up the defense without a problem.. On my build I focused more on the Melee aspect as you can tell it is sitting at 57.5%... If you want you can certainly find a way to less that a build more AoE D.

-Is it possible? Of course it can be possible, but like someone posted above would prob require some Purple sets :P

-I throw in the KB Protection in the Heal which helps out a ton! And I found out that in PVE slow is not really an issue for me anywho so you can always throw in a BotZ -4 KB in Combat Jumping which would pretty much stops the KB ^^


-P.S. If you pick up Nerve you hit soft cap AoE Defense with my build.. but I like my Musculature :P

I saw you were looking for a build and this one is mine: you can substitute the purples for stuff similar to it) It has great defense and has LR comming back at 25sec which is just darn sexy but none the less...

SO.. It seems it is now time for me to try the pvp world of CoH and was wondering how well Rad/Sonic will do? Seems great, has all the debuffs needed to kick some ... I really solo don't much in pvp, mostly paired up with friends. What do you guys/gals think?

I like the idea of Rad, I was just wondering is the debuff on it actually worth it or ice is just overall better?

So I was looking at Rad/Kin and it seems great... Only thing is I don't see any builds or anyone even mention it... Not even AR/Kin... Am I overlooking something?!

P.S. Please I would like not to hear about Fire -_- gets kinda old :P

Hmm seems like a pretty solid build. Have you taken a look at the build i posted up (Syntax42's Build)? One question for you Auroxis:
-Why take Smite when you are forced to get SP, wouldn't Shadow Maul be better to AoE hence hold aggro?


For Syntax42 why didnt you grab Powersink or Dark Consumption. I understand why not both because that would be just redundant but why not one?

Ya I totally agree Auroxis the synergy is all there. I just wanted to know a sample build, one with s/l and energy soft cap. I do not want to have to pop a purple to be soft cap, I mean.. I am suppose to be the tank for crying out loud but any builds that I can take a look at would be amazing!

Thanks a lot everyone for your awesome advice! So I decide to run Elec/Nin because I just love Elec and AoE is always great. Paired with a almost one shot AS.. its just wonderful! As for the pet... why don't I see that anywhere or read it? Is it hidden? I did not know Lighting Rod summons a pet...? (Anymore Elec/Nin builds are always welcome! )

P.S. As for KM I soon realized... that the vroom vroom sound was going to drive me up the wall...

Hello Everyone. Well I am sort of new to blasters but when I looked at this combo it seemed very interesting and I would like to know if there are any other blasters out there running that combo? Not better or worse more like what are the main differences between the two Ancillary Pools. Is it just play style/ preference?
