Due to football... (grrr) I've decided to cancel the Hami raid. In the belief that I do not want to waste peoples time waiting and fishing for people, when most of the raid force is watching the big fight. (Hope you enjoy the Football match )

So, I will need help from people who enjoy football in finding some new dates where we can have a Hami Raid in the near future.

Sarge.. No I do not watch football, so I do not have an inkling of who plays who, when and where.

Tried now to do plenty of screenshots on my characters. Print scr button is the one i use. In-game screenshots are put in the screenshot folder no problem.

Sometimes I am doing screenshots from character creation. My normal way of doing this is print scr button, then go into a program like ms paint and paste the image in. Then do editing.

My problem is that the image i get into paint is darker then the one I have in-game.
I've tried putting up the brightness or lowering gamma, but when I then copy+pasted the image... it was still as dark as before.

Do anyone got suggestions to what I could do, programs to use etc?

I will have to say by all the points above that I agree more with the others on their points then with you Durakken.
As I see it Reichmans dimension may or may not have followed our in-game dimension (and real history out of game). Reichman might have been twisted, evil and corrupt for all we know without having Statesmans ethics.

I suggest though, since we do have a new Dev on board (Protean) and he is part of the Lore department, to direct this question to him?
Cause no matter how much the question is discussed we will not know unless an official speaks out and says.. This is how it is!

About the lag.
I got one player from Zukunft that joined my sg some time ago. Main reason was that there where too few to rp with. When I told her last week that the EU servers where located somewhere in Germany, her immidiate outburst was something like this "... where/are they crazy?"
Reason she gave for this little bit was the following. The servers located in germany would go to and fro so many different ports... in short this explained everything to her on why she has a lot of lag.
Also it was at that moment I was hit by the little irony of the former Brighton office. Administration, marketing etc.. was located in Brighton, the servers in Germany... I think I marked this info by raising an eyebrow.
It woudl have been, mostlikely better to have the servers in ANY other country then Germany... best place might even have been.. you know in Brighton.

NCSoft, I'm not going to quote all that I remember from a certain movie "My Fair Lady" but it goes something like this "Words words words.. I'm so.. "... yes, not going to repeat all of that song. (I'm also tired)
We have gotten words for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper.. any meal you can think of, with the odd tidbit (rare times) a bone. You say you love the EU community, action speak louder then words. Do things, that we can see, don't push us away.
I asked a mod on what the hurdles/hoops/problem the thing-atron was that stopped the possibility of a server list merge. I did get the impression this was thought upon, however the wording I understood to be... maybe we will have it in the future, however before we do that we will have a discussion about it.

There is actually very little that needs to be discussed. This thread, amongst many other threads about server list merge, segregation of the community into two communities etc... should have by now spoken volumes.
You have the tecknology to move characters from one server to another, and one list to another list, one account to another account.
Since we do not get to know all the things that "might" stop a merger of the community into one well I will just have to ask.
How hard is it to copy the content of one server onto another, add that server to another list, make the updater(s) point to the one list?
I doubt it is the tech, its more of the will (and maybe I'm being jaded here... money. Money that you will loose as players jumping ship and buying everything again on the US side)...
If it is that jaded point... it is greed, not service.
Please make that jaded thought go away though. As said you have the technology to get the players into one list.
As a certain Star Trek captain (Picard) usually says... "Number one (cause that you are, you are strangely the best company) make it so!"

In the end every player will most likely have more servers to play on and everyone could (maybe) buy the gameboxes. Thus not needing to install on a new comp (if the comp needed reinstall) CoV and exceed the download limit on their line before they have downloaded every issue of City of Heroes.
To marketing... You will sell more by having the communities merged into one server list.

I might have come a bit strong, but I'm tired and reading the official statements well... made me sad.

Lets just say a hypothetical inf seller company called annoyinginfseller with www and com. This company is already on the blacklist of ncsoft, so they add the following names to their filter.
So ]www. annoyinginfseller. com (made in space so it would not be a properlink, which would not have gone anywhere anyway)

If we are to pose more restrictions on trial accounts, then let them only be able to post in one or two places. Like player questions.
and.. give assistant mod status to several players in that forum only. With special orders.. any inf seller commercial ... kill it.

That way new players can ask their question in a forum and we will restrict the spam from coming into the rest of the forum. And most likely a quick deletion of any of said unwanted spam.
Said mods would not be able to say ban an account, but sort of mute the account maybe? Such a muting would be announced to the devs and they can do the appropriate deletion, ban.. what they do.

I agree on Lisars suggestion.
If we do not let actual player trial accounts be able to post or put more hinderence to them...

I regret to inform you that due to a few factors this Raid has been CANCELLED. I repeat the HAMI raid the 12'th of JUNE is C A N C E L L E D.
The reasons: Football and Formula 1.
Yup, I did get a shock when I heard/read it. There is a big football match between USA and England at the same time we normally would fight Hami, and a few interested in fast cars might be tuned into the telly for the Formula 1 race.

This would take away alot of players, so to not waste anyones time. I've cancelled the Hami Raid.
If you are interested in football and would like to take down Hami when there is no big football match...
Do please give me the dates so I can arrange one (in the near future).

Aye.. make us one community please.

We did not use EoE's at all. One tank lured the rikti into hami, and when the yellow was attacked by the rikti and damaged, the other tank hit it until it was killed. continue until all where killed. Then we took the pylons, then one tank taunted a blue, while we ranged killed it. Rince and repeat.
But.. everytime a mito is killed, all run and regroup somewhere else. (You do not want the debuffs etc)
The greens, have the trollers/doms chain hold one. I stood outside the blue field (blaster) and sniped at the target when it was being damaged by the holds.

Hami itself. One tank tanks, if getting damaged its out of the blue field to be healed, the other tank takes over. (Both started on their opposite sides of hami). Then it was for the rest to cast hold and do their thing.

Empath during this casts cm's like crazy on the tank.

Until the patch hits live. Bring 3-4 holders (trollers/doms). For safety bring two tanks.
We discovered that a bubbler will be able to heal within the size of the bubble (amidst the blue field), but things like a blasters snipe will not work from inside the blue field.

Well we sort of can expect one of the doubles to come from Preatorean earth. However if that was the evil version or the good version, your guess is as good as mine.
Don't think that is said clearly.
We can assume that it comes from Preatoria with the theory that we thus have no alternate presence in Preatorea and that will be the planet that we must defend later on.
Or that it is another dimension that the good double came from. However we then kinda got to get the info so we can do what our late alternate self hinted at: That we got now two worlds to protect.

Not finished with any of my chars yet. Doing badgehunting, made the final build, still pondering on costumes, doing roleplay...

Some characters have grown more on me then others. F.ex I'm very tempted to park and say I'm done with my mastermind robotic/shield. Cause it just did not suit me (but i wanted a lvl 50 villain for the future when veat came out). Only problem is that that character is also my oldest villain and... thus badger. ;P

For me they are finished when I stop paying the sub or cox's life is over. Now that could take quite some time...

For ending to play a character and deletion = A new char with few anniversary badges and most important... not finding it fun playing the char. So while I still have fun.. they will be played.

Well its going to be great fun finding out the loose ends with Mother Mayham (specially due to the earlier statement. Sister phsyche is over 80 years old).
Might have been mother mayham that was the patient and took over the doc.. Aurora borealis. That would give the reason for mother mayham being so... young.

But why on earth does the seers have reduced life span? hmmm
