Ok I have known rangle for a long time now, and I have teamed with him. He is no where near a grammar nazi. We both have meet a few. He has also helped ppl out when they do make mistakes just like others has helped him. That dose not mean he is one. I have been coming to this post to try to figure out what this thread is supposed to be, Helpful information, a question or what? I have tried to read what you was talking about but after a few lines the whole thing just kind of merged. So what is the main point of this post?

Believe me, I don't count as one in the least. While you believe that I was one, or was being one, then you're in for a very, very rude awakening when you finally meet one.

And thus is another of a Rangle plot
  4. There is a few things I would change on it for example I would but an extra slot out of hasten since 2 is good enough with lvl 50 IO, and put it in darkest night for more end red since it is a very end heavy toggle, which would give you some more recharge bonus, plus switch out your cleaving blow in Icicles with 1 more erad, and 2 scirocco for more reg, but in foot stomp and spring attack just switch out 1 of the cleaving blows with another erad. Something like this.

  5. Not really also some of the fire/ice damage also has some s/l elements in it if i remember correctly.
  6. Couple of things ive noticed first off you dont need a full set of BotZ in SJ, and you dont need a full set of Guassian in focus chi, that is more for positional def, such as SR and SD. You also dont need a full set of erads in dragons tail. It looks like you are trying to get your positional def up as well as your Typed def. WP is more of a typed def then a positional def tank. I have made a few changes by keeping your original powers I would do more but I do not know what you really are looking for in your tank.

  8. Hey Turg I believe you forgot about the star kindred alliance channel that star created mostly for his SG but also for some events such as CoP, Hami, and MSR and for teaming.

VERY few cold attacks that enemies use are pure cold damage, and even if they are, you're over the hard cap of cold resistance. Going from 31.7% Fire Defense to 28.57 Fire Defense won't affect you all that much, if you really want the slots somewhere else.

So it's really up to you. If you're good on slots elsewhere, leave the slots in permafrost. Putting another slot into Jab or Haymaker and putting the Tanker ATO Proc in there would probably help you more, anyways, if you can afford it.
Dang it aett u beat me to it, was going to say that but had to go to work. I do believe I mentioned that before in this post about the def u need for your tank. But yes you do not need to worry to much about your positional def. Also what u have slotted in rage is more for positional def then for typed def. I would take some of them out and place them else where. Just add 1 or 2 recharge to it I would say add some rectified reticle to it but u really dont need the extra s/l def since u r already over the SC for it.

You can always auto hasten this way you do not have to worry bout it and it will go off by it self, as for alpha i would say go card for more res/end red.

Ok first this answer the proc u mention is expensive, but there r ways around it. You can go a couple of ways, 1 get lots of hero/vill merits depending on what side your running, 2 Get lots of emporium merits, or 3 get your self a cheap PvP IO and just keep converting till you get the proc. As for your last you can go with spring attack, or you can go with hover. It will give u some extra def, and u can put another LoTG + recharge in there and it will cost u less end. I know u keep saying you wont have much problems with end, but every littl bit counts, gives the same def bonus as maneuvers at a lower cost of end.

    The Great Makeover: The Vindicators

    August 1st to 21st, 2012

There are many Hero and Villain Groups in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles, with new ones forming all the time using the latest fashion and equipment in their attire. One of the original groups, The Vindicators, has been in need of some new costumes for quite some time now and are seeking out designers! Your challenge: Makeover The Vindicators!

The Vindicators are a hero group led by Ms. Liberty. They can often be found with Longbow fighting Arachnos in the Rogue Isles. (Wiki Page)

Contestants will only use the in-game character creator to design a "makeover" for any number of The Vindicators listed above. Your goal is to create a set of costumes for the "New" Vindicators. All options in the character creator are fair game, meaning even Paragon Market and Badge earned pieces may be used in the design. Sticking to the lore is important to us, but contestants may even go as far as changing character genders and no matter what changes are made, we would like to know why they were made. Reasoning could be simple or complex, but we want to know what contestants were thinking in why they changed what they did other than the obligatory "It was ugly."
    • Two entries per global per Vindicator are allowed: @Person can submit two separate Ms. Libertys, but cannot submit a third Ms. Liberty etc..
    • Non-VIP may enter, but be aware there may be limitations to the amount of INF awarded, or any of the IO sets.
    • To be considered for the top prize pools, contestants must submit at least an entry for minimum of 4 of the 8 Vindicators.
    • Judging will be based on: Creativity, Overall Aesthetic, and the tie in to City of Heroes' Lore.

    • The top 20 entries will receive 100 million INF (Must have at least 4 individual Vindicators)
    • The top 4 entries will receive an additional 500 million INF (Must have at least 4 individual Vindicators)
    • The top entry for each of the 8 Vindicator will receive 125 million INF
    • All entries will be entered into a random IO Set Enhancement drawing which will include, but are not limited to: Numina ++, Miracle +, Steadfast 3%, and LoTG 7.5%.
    • Contestants can win in each prize pool, but cannot win twice in a given pool!

    • The submission period is August 1st to 21st, 2012.
    • Entries can be submitted in three ways: Submission Thread, Private Message, or Email: perc.coh@gmail.com
      • Forum posted entries that are NOT posted in the submission thread will NOT be considered.
    • Each entry must include a global handle, the name of the Vindicator, 3 images or links to images displaying the makeover, and why (reasoning) the changes were made.
      • The 3 required images should show the Front, Side, and Back of the character.
      • Please do not submit more than 3 pictures or links per Vindicator.
    • The submission format can be seen below and there is an example in the submission thread.
    • If you are posting pictures, please try to keep the width near 300px. If you do not / cannot crop your images then simply post the link rather than have it displayed.
    Code:
Global Handle: @Your Handle Vindicator: [Insert Vindicator's Name] Pic or Link 1 Pic or Link 2 Pic or Link 3 Why: [Insert Why]

Q- Can I change the gender of a character?
A- You may, but you will need to have a solid story based reason for doing so.

Q- Can I change the name of a character?
A- You may change a character's name, but please provide your reasoning for doing so and how that fits into current (or reasonably predicted) lore.

Q- I don't know how to post a screen shot, can I still enter?
A- You can enter by emailing your screen shots to perc.coh@gmail.com and we will host and post them for you. Please include your global and forum name in the email. You can also make use of free image hosts like: http://www.tinypic.com

Q- Do I need to take the screen shots of the character in the costume creator or can I take an action shot?
A- You may take your screen shots with any background you chose. Please make sure the picture clearly shows the character's new look. Also note, powers (customized or not) will not be judged.

    Q- What about weapons?
A- You are welcome to show weapons in your screenshots if you feel it adds to your makeover look.

Q- How exactly do my entries count towards prizes?
A- You can submit up to 16 different costume entries per global (2 per Vindicator). All your entries will count towards the "best of" whichever Vindicator it is. Each set of Vindicators (at least 4) will count towards the top 20 and top 4 prizes. If you choose to create more than 4 costumes per set, your best 4 will be counted and you will get a small bonus for the additional creations.

  23. You are still building for positional instead of type def. Not to mention u might think we do not know what we are talking bout with your end when in fact we do. Mids only shows u with just your toggles on. Now add up your attacks and your end usage will go up. If you want typed def with s/l then switch out your ToD with Kinetic Combats, switch out your GSFC with 2 Ret, and 1 common end IO. Still do not know why the obsession with psi def, unless it is for the incarnate trials, but with that you would be buffed beyond sc for psi on those, or if you constantly fighting carnies, or rikti you wont come across to many enemy's with psi attacks. But using what you have I switched out a few things to show u what i mean with those procs, and add some slots to taunt to help with reg, and s/l def.

  24. Im trying to figure out why stealth? the def for that is going to disappear once u attack. Focus acc is a major end hog, not to mention the guasian in it is more for positional not typed def. Here is a build with little better def, and HP as well as some good end rec, and reg. Plus little more res.
