now im starting to see the problem with the idea. The power creations are all awesome, but each one needs its own animation of some sort. It would be different if they could use some generic animation pool, but many of you are coming up with total custom ideas, with interesting, but unique animations.

say 500K people play CoH, and each one wants his own personalized animation...that would be as many or more animation codes than currently exsist in the game.

I support the concept, and the OP's idea, but im pretty sure thats the first thing the developers saw when they browsed this post. IF they did it at all, you would likely be given a selection of 20-30 animations to choose from, anything else would be like coding a new game. It would simply take them forever.

ok, im confused by all the freaking out about story arcs...

The way i understand it, is that a lvl 20ish story arc, will drop a formula for a 20ish IO set. If you a 50, why do you even care about a 20ish IO? Shouldnt you be more concerned with trying to find one of the story arcs running on PI(theres a ton) and finishing one of those so you can get the 40+ formula??

And, it dosent seem the story arcs are the only place to get a random rare component, or formula, its ONE of FOUR places to get it, so if your not able to do a story arc for one, run a tf, everybody can do a tf, most specifically 50's, we've access to ALL of em.

Instead of bashing something you've never seen, how bout waiting to see how it turns out? I gotta tell you, outa the 4 MMO's i play, the dev's take more care of the players here than in most others, and i dont think they would purposely screw everybody who's ever made it to 50 in one chapter, or exclude all those existing charecters from the new content.

I'd also take this time to address the complaints about the chapter drops expanded content. Can you name other games that release new content 2-3 times a year, for FREE? Sure, they could put out one massive chapter update, that had new story arcs, new stuff, and new AT's for both sides...but that would likely be ONCE a year, if we are lucky. How many would complain then.."the chapters arent coming quick enough"

i8 is barely off its training wheels, and already i9 is on deck warming up...cut em some slack.

If you have a complaint, make it that not one "redname" has addressed the "signature powers" thread that a player proposed, and has had tremendous feedback from the player base. It seems a workable idea, fair, balanced, and adds a whole new level of customization to your charecter, and they cant even say "hey, good idea, well look into it", or "thats trash, never gonna happen"

Have some faith in the game that some of you have been playing for years. As someone who's left and come back again, i can say that generally, they dont disapoint you...unless your waiting for a villan epic AT

i love this idea, full support...although, i will add in, im highly upset that in all that player feedback, all of it posetive, that not one "red name" could be bothered to poke its head in.

If on the off chance, it hasn't been said yet, [censored]! Yea, most of those games are violent, but this one, and Abe? the old Playstation 1 game? Violent? For gods sake you farted to distract the gaurds!!

No, this game dose not fall under the category of violent, espescially not the numero uno super dude in all of Paragon. One day, all the old guys who are running censorship campaigns will wake up to find that all the 30 year olds my age have been forced to take office to save the idea that was our country(no, not the prude's who got kicked out England idea, the one that came later).

Next up will they put a ban on violent movies? Watch "Heat" with Robert Diniro enough times and tell me you dont know a good strategy to pull of a major heist. So what? we ban guns in movies? Then comics? Then maybe books?

Can we please put all these guys on the "bound for the Ol Folks Home" bus and steer our great nation away from the "goose-stepping" path thier are attempting to lead us down?

And for the love of all thats holy, leave Statesman alone, he already has to wear those tights....give him a break, hes doin the best he can.

Seems one of my SG buddies has a problem. Whenever he leaves the SG base by the front door to re-enter Faultline, he finds himself stuck in a building. The building is invisible, and he can run around within its perimiter, but must be teleported out.

Dont know if anyone else has had this problem, but it seems rather significant, as it happened EVERY time he tried it.

so heres a question, did u guys ever think of making pvp more than just an option? put some contacts for story arc missions there, so everybody has to go in sometime, after all, heros n villans should have a lil more actual interaction than basic "jump in n kill em". make the zones(pvp) a place u need to go, instead of a place u want to go, like the other zones. just a thought

large beard clips into chest if u mage the huge frame(for toon shape) as big as it can get, i may have posted this once in the wrong place, so im covering my bases...see my toon Ent King, ull see what i mean, hes on virtue, hero

So heres one short n simple, if u make a huge body type, pump it all the way up, and give it a giant beard, the beard tends to clip into the chest, alot, when just standing around. kinda silly, but it annoys me. ty
