I have a scrapperlock even worse i have other locks as well; with defenders i usually look for team but me so i go down without noticing it, with controllers i look for my holds, sleeps or other stuffs status so i go down again. I think i only check my health with tankers as team is mostly depends on me.
Scrappers are good for teams as any other hero AT. To be honest when i try to gather a team my priority of ATs goes like this (mostly depend on my sets/AT tho) Tankers, Controllers, Scrappers, Defenders and Blasters. First two are my favorite ATs. I prefer Scrappers over Blasters because they are more sturdy and have less annoying effects on their powers than Blasters. Also if tank goes down scrappers can continue keeping mobs at bay in that case of emergency. Don't get me wrong, a team full of blasters are also fine and they do pretty well without a Tanker but having a scrapper is a big plus for a team. -

Hmm only 3 of us so far......hopefully we will come across a few randoms to recruit if we don't have enough heros. I have a lvl 37 tank if needed otherwise i will be on as my ice/ice blaster

Ain't States TF 45-50 range? -
Give me a shout when you want to do this. I have a lowbie Rad/Ice defender and BS/WP scrapper running around. If all members are capped i can join with Psy-knight too as he needs both this one and Synapse.
@Knightly
Cheers. -
As my "All defender team" memories still too fresh i am not willing to join any all same AT team soon (hmmm maybe an all troller team can be sweet) but if you will find yourselves short of a member and if time will suits me (Saturday evenings filled with Psychic Patrol and maybe Fridays too) give me a shout from my global @Knightly. I can give another try to my ever ending FF/Psi tries (heh making one at least once a month and delete it before lvl 20).
Good Luck to you on your adventurous journey. -
Nice! I hope we can find at least 2 more. As we will be 12 players on total we can run two 6 person teams on saturday evenings.
Here is the plan:
If we can find at least 2 more members we start other team on this Friday evening. If we enter Positron TF with the first team and the second one on saturday i think levels will be even. (That means we need to reach level 10 on friday with second team which won't be a problem)
Only thing will bother me is having two teams equal in strength so i can re roll Psy-knight as a tanker instead of a scrapper if second team won't have one. We have enough blasters i guess so damage wont be a problem but buff/debuff balance hard to maintain i think.
Or another idea: If there are people in first team who thinks they can also spare Friday nights for teaming we can run one team on Fridays one on Saturdays. (I can spare Friday nights for another team too, just for the record)
Comments, ideas or suggestion. Speak up boys.
Oh here's the heroes i can roll for a second team maybe it will help you to decide if you want to join the second one:
Blaster: Fire/Mental
Controller: Ill/Rad
Defender: FF/Psi
Scrapper: None as i have one on first team and another one on Union. Enough scrapping for me.
Tanker: WP/Dark or Ice or EM(If i can bear its sound fx)

well, I hit 8th last night. a bit more catching up to be done methinks....
one thing. Positron's TF, isnt that the one against clockwork ?
arent a lot of clockwork completely immune to psi damage ?
.....
[/ QUOTE ]
Other than Clocks, Positron also have Vazhiloks whose have resistance versus psi. Also Cadavars immune to sleep but not buther dudes.
Okay than either Synapse or Faultline.
Also Ramon, i hate to say it but have to, our team is full with 8 people now so if there ain't any others wants to join you can only be a reserve member atm unless devs will decide to make teams for 9 or more people.
Let's hope other who said they can be interested will decide to join so we can run 2 teams.
Okay whoever wants to join raise your hands. As catching up other team won't be hard at the moment we can start to run another team another day than return to our regular date after level gaps closed. -
Yay finally i have blaster i love to play (i loved my first one tho but deleted him as i found his concept a bit crappy):
Son/Dev.
Mostly Sonic. At lvl 16 i have 2 powers from secondary and i will get 3 more(Calltrops, Cloaking Device and Smoke Granade) -

1- Finish the Hollows Arc
[/ QUOTE ]
I think we've done as much as we can in the hollows. The last contact won't give me any more missions. I guess 14 is the max level for missions there, since we are 15, we can't get any more missions
[/ QUOTE ]
So it seems we finished it already. -
For me most popular places are Faultline and Croatoa. Especially Croatoa because i use university in there as it is usually quite. I like faultline arc and nowadays i also use it to hunt around a bit.
Less popular ones are PvP zones. I entered both RV and Warburg once in 14,5 months. Also don't even know where the Siren's Call enterance is. -
As I am usually free on Sunday Mornings and a TF addict i will try to attend as much as i can. For Statesman my only available hero is:
Psy-knight lvl 46 Mind/Rad/Fire Controller (Only don't have TK but will get it on next level up)
Cheers,
Knightly -
Ummm i wish i can remember what level we are at the moment. We have travel powers i know for certain... and i still don't have RttC so we are level 15
We stormed thru the Hollows. For future, well i don't know for certain. Things to do list is here:
1- Finish the Hollows Arc
2- Get Self Rez temp power with bank mission
3- Start Positron TF if everyone wants it
4- Enter Synapse TF if everyone wants to skip Positron
5- Start Faultline Arc
6- Finish Caverns Trial (Do we have a ghoster, yeah we have a stupid scrapper with stealth and tp)
Personally i am not a badger or Arc follower (except Faultline i love to fight with all those AVs) so we will do what will vote as in or not.
See you next Saturday.
@Jay:
You know my global mate if you need company to catch our level let me know so i can join you as an ex. Also Black Mage couldn't make it too, but we found some nice people to help us.
So let us know if you want to catch our levels and we will help you. (Me and another willing member, i can only join with Psy because i dont have any other hero available in Defiant ^_^ ) -

Most of the controller AoE holds do no damage by default, though you can - and many do - add damage procs to them.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is why Psy-knight can kill... ummm arrest mobs with Total Domination and Mass Confusion. -
Hmmm Shannon is right. With End light set like SS you can get Stamina later in your build.
Honestly i wish that can be true for my WP/Stone one. With DO's and End Rdx's on 2 attacks i was still having End issues so i forced to take Stamina on level 22 instead of HS or another attack. -
Just to confirmation:
Tomorrow 19:00 BST at Hollows gate.
See ya there. -
He he! Congrats for new 50 matey.

For starters you don't need Mind Over Body so early. High Pain Tolerance gives you plenty of resistance for the early stages and Rise to the Challenge combined with Fast Healing will form the cornerstone of your protection. I didn't take Mind Over Body until after I got Stamina in the late 20s and it's absence wasn't noticable.
[/ QUOTE ]
I can say same thing for Fast Healing which i still don't have both on my WP/Stone (lvl 21) and WP/SS (lvl 28). They do pretty good.
So i think that makes High Pain Tolerance, IW and RttC more critical powers which should be get asap.
@OP
Nice build. Have fun with your new tanker. WP is a fun set to play. -
As title says: Finally i managed to draw Psy-knight. My one and only main and most beloved character in Union.
Althought it is only a sketch i like it and wanted to share it with all friends of him.
Here we go...
Psy-knight Mind/Rad Controller Level 46
While i am posting this picture i also thank once again to people who played great part in his history, especially Okton for making me understand how to build best Mind Controller for me. -
Too many things to count.
I am getting what i want from game the way i play so i don't think that things as big looses.
But i can put something in there that i want to do but ain't able to do yet.
-Joining Statesman TF with my Willpower/Stone Tanker (he's level 21 for now and if you think after 15 months i still don't have a level 50 hero that means this will happen after another 15 months ??)
-
No, no and no!
Ummm but maybe if they change Controllers secondary to Tanker Primary defense, give controllers high damage and high hit points... why not
A Mind/Willpower Controller with high damage and containment. Now that's what i call controller. -

Dark debuffs the resistance of your foes and thus boosts your damage, it also contains a very chunky self heal for example (probably the best in the game)
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe it has thwe exact same values as Kineytics Transfusion but it does higher heal points than anything empathy can come up with short of Absorb pain because it requires a to-hit roll in order to work correctly. In short it's the best 'non penalty' heal, along with Transfusion in the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
I prefer it for two reasons
1) I like the debuff more than Transfusions
2) It is centred on you so as long as you hit a foe you're in it. No one can knock the centre of your heal out of your range.
[/ QUOTE ]
Also you can heal whoever you want with Dark. Just run near the team mate and launch heal, no need to yell "get close to enemies for heals" like a Kinetic defender. Also if someone kill their target while heals in action, Transfusion fails where Dark still can achive healing goal. (Maybe this one is a bug but for now it is works that way)
If you ask me Kinetics more valuable in the hands of a controller as they can lock their enemies before getting into close range for their buffs. -
I can only say one thing about soloing on Hero-side. Try many ATs and decide which one you can solo.
I like soloable heroes, not that i like soloing much but you know all comic heroes can hold themself against a bunch of punks alone.
I find Mind controllers, Willpower tankers and i think Inv scrappers (yeah my regens died quickly in the past so i am keeping my current one for teaming) soloable for myself. Other people can solo with other ATs and sets but those are the ones fits in my play style and pace.
Defenders can solo too but finishing a mission with them takes too much time so even i like them much i never go into that scene again.
So far my best soloing hero is my WP/Stone tank (my Mind trollers are close but at least i know a mish where my main can't take down an EB) even with his endurance issues. If you go for more end light set you will do good. -
See you again, even we've never met i can hear you. I was about to leave the game for very same reason. Economical storm is silent for me for now but soon i will force to leave the game too.
Also i know from myself you will be back at first opportunity. Look at the brightside, there will be many things to try when you come back.
Take care. I hope life will show you its smiling face soon.
Highest Regards,
Knightly. -
I think i finally realized why i can't play scrappers, they die a lot. I have the most terrible Scrapperlock and Scrapperhoop all in one. I forget to check my hp bar everytime i get into combat.
So...
Rerolled Claws/WP as Claws/Inv
and have a MA/Regen sitting on level 10 (Usually i tend to delete my un-used characters but that lady is really hot and looks good while kicking so i will keep her alive and turn to her after i level my Tanker and Claws scrapper a bit as they can solo better) -
Yeah Mind/TA controllers definetly need a respec, especially if you got Flash Arrow in your build.
I think i will need a respec too. As Psy-knight became one of my highest level scrappers i am going inna way i've never been before.(My highest one was lvl 15 Broadsword/Regen iirc)
