Defenders totally need a Bubble Blast secondary, just so that you can get a decent toon out of a cracking name.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, i like to see that. Also we will see many Susan Storms running around for sure. -

Hmmm... I don't know if it is achiveable but a hero without any badges?
That must be a non-veteran account for start but not sure about the rest.
[/ QUOTE ]
Would need to get to no more than lvl 9 (badges at lvl 10 for starters) and no longer than 3 months old (first vet badge)
An alternate idea, getting to 50 with as few badges as possible? That would mean no TFs, little teaming to avoid boss badges, done in less than 3 months to avoid vet badges......what else could we miss out on?
[/ QUOTE ]
Heh, yeah i forgot that level 10 badge. Also debt, damage taken or inf. badges comes without asking. Hmm add that to no selling in WW (you get vendor badge in a blink of an eye).
Also a non-veteran can accidently step on exploration badges.
Maybe a low badge hero would be more logical. -

I remembered i forgot something... again.
When would you get your TFs? Also, everyone wants to join TFs, right? (I am asking this because of Spirit's Posiphobia)
My idea is something like that for now:
Positron TF: Between Hollows and Faultline arcs
Synapse TF: Between Faultline Part 1 and Part 2; Before Doc. Delilah arc.
Sister Psyche TF: After Faultline arc.
I have that plan according to a certain level range in mind. I guess we will be level 15ish at the end of Hollows and around level 19 after the first part of Faultline and 24ish after end of Faultline.
If some of us don't want to bother with TFs we, the ones who are enjoying that events can try to attend that TFs another day of the week (Depending on Mereman's time tho'). If there will be a level range gap we can turn off XP gain 'till others catch up and levels are even.
Uh oh... so many things to decide.
Have fun,
Knightly -
First i admit my only highest level FF defender was my first original hero in this game which i deleted around level 30. Tried many others (including FF/Elec, FF/Nrg, FF/Psi) but none even get his travel power.
I agree with Shannon in this matter, as FF mostly fire and forget set your secondary or other pool powers comes into play more often, your secondary at least have a decent damage. Ice is end heavy secondary but bubbles can handle it well most than other primaries (Storm/Ice i am looking at you). If i should start another FF it will be Ice, Sonic or Psi i guess.
IMO if it gives you such hassle don't try to stick with it just for the name. -
Hope tides of time will chage things in your favor, mate. In this days of global crisis, for some of us it is really hard to continue the life as we know it.
Be well,

^This.
I hope you'll have a nice time in WoW and your real life problems solve asap.
Have fun with all that elves. -
Happy Birthday.
I hope you had a nice one. -
Yay! That team was a blast. I hope everyone had fun as much as I had.
As I said on Saturday night, if anyone have any doubts or certain that he/she didn't like his/her character just let me know and we can help you to catch up with others this week. Although it is not neccessary as you can find sewer teams any time of day from Atlas, the offer is still up.
You will meet my new hero for team this Saturday. As i felt one handed without Confuse in my controller i created an Illusion/Thermal hero instead of Tremor Chaser. He is currently level 11.
A Super Group would be nice even i don't believe in SGs. There is only one problem i see, i don't have any shadow alts but instead have many alts.
This Saturday if everyone agrees, we can start Hollows arc. Later, before we continue to Faultline we can complete Midnighters Arc and Invention Tutorial. -
If you'll find yourself short of a person to start, give me a shout as Psy-knight won't do much good in that TF. I wish i can level up Apostle(currently level 43) to help you with more reasonable hero.
Wish you best in there.
Knightly
Global Handle:@Knightly -
Psy-knight will try to find himself a more useful job. That sale tickets from Icon don't help him much.
Apostle's the same goal since the day he started his carreer, taking down the big bad LR. As he couldn't accomplish that in 2008, he hopes he can find an opportunity to take down that arachnid freak in 2009. -
Well, well, well Ladies and Gentlemen!
Tomorrow is the day. I hope we all ready for this.
Let me be the first to announce self hero. Please add your hero and contiue the list.
1- @Knightly, Count W. Kracher, Mind/Thermal Controller
I will check the list tomorrow and add you as a global contact so we will find each other easily. Mereman, my friend, if you add both your and Mrs. Mereman's heroes i will be glad.
Have fun and hope to see you all tomorrow,
Knightly -
Happy New Year folks.
Hope this new year expand your life into new horizons with health, happiness and love.
Peace,
Knightly -
Yay for Mrs. Mereman.
Honestly i thought of inviting her for so long but as i didn't want to interfere in family dynamics i shut my trap instead, like every good boy should do.
Healer, I think we should think and talk about how the pact will work if it will be done. As you can see on earlier posts we waltzed around two ideas: A shadow team that level with main ones or in team pacts. Say your opinion on this ideas so we can discuss it further.
On my side, i think finally i have my two heroes ready, Dashing Hawk TA/A defender and Count W.Kracher Mind/Thermal controller. I parked Count to WW for day job thing by the way.
Oh! and Happy New Year! I hope this new year will be better than your last one. Have fun, stay safe and always spare a place in your heart for love.
Knightly -
Wow!
Didn't check the boards on weekend as usual. So nice to have you all around.
Team so far:
1- Knightly,
2- Mereman
3- Spirit
4- Herczeg
5- Primaxi
6- Healer
7- Velinia
8- ???
For your characters, let's decide what us want and put the last outcomes on Friday.
My Good Hope is currently level 8ish (yeah that means he won't join the team, heck i don't even know how much days left ahead of him before delete button pressed).
Here's something i want to point out depending on my former "regular" teaming experiences.
Choose a character you want to play, if you want to try something for the first time let us know. Sometimes when a character looks good on the paper it turns out as a nightmare in game. (Psy-knight on Defiant; i think Mereman and Spirit still remember my long whinning sessions about him). If you feel like you can't play with your current hero, we can help you to catch up with the rest in a week day. Also if you'll want to leave the group for whatever the reason is, let us know. No need to state a reason, just tell it before you left so we can decide what we will do in future.
Never think something like "team needs that, so i must roll one". We will figure out somethings on the way, my golden rule is team work.
Okay enough lecture. As the Good Hope's out of picture i have following heroes available.
1- Dashing Hawk, TA/A Defender level 3
2- Prince Elzer, Grav/Thermal Controller level 10 (will be re-rolled as Mind/Thermal possibly. Gravity is not my kinda stuff)
In short,
1- One spot is still open in the team
2- Decide what you want to play (Don't forget to include fly as travel power)
3- Create your character and put his/her name in here 'till Friday
4- Meet us on Altas Park, near the leveling chick (Miss Liberty???)
5- Have fun.
Highest Regards,
Knightly
PS: First week we will hit the sewers and do Atlas Bank mission for Raptors. -
Welcome aboard, Herczeg.
I think i need to change/re-roll Good Hope, he looks... well plainly horrific. Also i think as i can't find a time to use my primary with empathy more passive/fire-and-forget primary will be more useful. So i think he will be a Ill/Empath. -
Surely it will be fun Primaxi. Welcome to the team.
Good Hope (Mind/Empath) controller level 3 and parked in Atlas as well. Heh nearly i forgot and joined a sewer team last night. Thanks to no xp, i was be able to stop my leveling at level 3. -

We could have a whole second team leveling up behind the scenes if we wanted to with leveling pacts! But I think pacting with each other within this team is a more down to earth idea. Dunno though, having backup chars ready to use at the right level if a certain AT can't make it would be handy.
I'll think about what character I want to roll today, will probably be a blaster or defender.

Also Shadow characters can give team more freshness. If you get bored with your current hero you can swap your other character and see things in a bit different.
You know well from our earlier experiences most of the 8 level teams soon become core circle teams. In my opinion this is possibly because of people want to try somethings different in a new team and then can't get a hold on that character (powers, concept, AT... you name it).
Also i like to add that i am loving our teams not because it gives me a chance to level up heroes on a regularly but because we have fun together. So not gaining XP every now and then won't hurt me much. That depends on what other people might say tho'. -
Meh Tanking = Taunt Spamming *ducks behind the cover
Seriously that will be a good idea as leveling most tanks 'till stamina can be pain. For tanking, well thanks to Saxtus i know some basics and can help you. Blasters and Tankers two ATs make you feel real heroic if you ask me. Blasters with their damage output make you feel power in your finger tips, tankers on the other hand make you feel invincible. You can stand there and laugh while those punny villians strain themselves to hurt you a bit. -
Okay another idea depending on the team size and hero ATs.
If we can't get enough people or some AT (Tankers i am looking at you), we can use this pacts to level up back-up heroes so we can swap heroes for AVs or other needs of the team.
For people lagging behind(XP-wise) we can turn off XP gain as i said.
First let us see who will join and say what. -
Well then i should wait for a suitable barchelor.
Also we can turn off XP valves anytime we want as far as i know. -
Count me in
With new goodies i think this time we won't out level Caverns. Also with my new heroes i heard many people asking about toon marriages. If you want to engage your heroes in that not-so-holy bound let us know so we can tie the knot before we start this crazy adventure. (Yeah, yeah i am talking about Level Pact).
Say Yes to Toon Marriage!
See ya'll next year. Happy Holliday.
Have fun,
Knightly -
I don't mind a merge of forums but just like FFM i prefer more friendlier and familiar atmosphere around here.
-
Okay i decided to join with a Mind/Empath. I need to ask a question about power choice but it can wait until in game meeting (As Mereman's main is an empath he can help me i guess).
Now questions:
1- Will we meet 19:00 UK time again?
2- Do you prefer gain some levels before entering the Sewers?
3- Most importantly will we start a new thread for new team?
(On the side note: I achieved my goal and Sky is mine. As i have some spare time in my hands i can try to woo down Silk Fox with Lustfull Lian and make Dawn Star evil with an evil male hero. Honestly i don't know why i uninstalled that game first time without getting too much into the story. Hmmm... also i think i need to finish that last mission to end Storm of Zehir. See you next weekend then, mates. Merry Christmas to you)
Have fun,
Knightly -
Happy Birthday, Mr. Aardwark.
Hmmm... You must be the best Xmas present your family ever got.
