    WM/SD critique

I have a lv50 WM/SD brute and our builds are similar, but a little different as well. The biggest weakness I see with SD is no self heal, so I added that to my build, and it has worked great for me. My WM/SD brute is a beast, and with great defenses when i do get hit (not too often) I just hit self heal and back to full health again. here is my build hope it helps ya

  2. IMO you are slotting your defense sets more heavy then you need to, and costing yourself much better recharge, and to hit %. If you make a solid build you will not need, or use Elude (not to mention you will not need to worry about the crash) especially if you are going with medicine pool for self heal. Here is one of my builds it may be or not be lackluster (that is the opinion of whoever looks at it) but there are no purple sets, and i have no set bonus caps. It may be helpful to you, you may have to swap around a power or two to suit your playing style, or what you want. Hope this helps.

  3. Not a bad build, but I see you didnt take CT Offensive, CT Leadership, or Build up. You may want to add at least one into your build. If it is just one go with build up. You are missing out on more accuracy, and with at least build up you get Acc and more damage. just a thought. here is one of my widow builds the defenses are there along with great acc and dam recharge is good as well

Here is my widow, she is a bit higher on almost all levels except recharge you are a bit higher then me, however my defenses, to hit, damage ect.. are higher. I also have perma mind link, but still capped without it. Here is the build for you or whoever would like to look at it. Really it comes down to what works for you there are so many ways to build a widow that you could have 30 different builds that are all pretty solid.

  6. COSTUME CODES!!!!!!

I always hear about these code given out at herocon, or won at herocon. Well there has been no herocon in my area, so I couldn't buy, or win any. It would make sense for myself, and others in the same situation of either not having herocon in their area, or not being able to attend it for them to offer costume code packs for sale. Just like the expansions sets like Ninja, and Magic. Why not have code sets say 4 codes for X dollars.

Bet they would sell quite a bit.

    Just my thought.
  7. I look forward to hearing feedback on my arc's if anyone else would like to try them out please do, and let me know what you think.
    Thanks

    MA ARCS:
    176180 "Meet The Icerya"
    31822 "how it all began"
  8. I would really like to see the level cap raise to 60 over another power set. We have quite a few choices right now, and yes more choices would be nice, but i would like some other stuff first.

I know I have some toons that I look at, and say wow I wish i could add 2 more powers on this toon, or man i could really use a few more slots for these powers.

So yeah i would like to see the level cap raised, but that may be just me.

Hello to you all. I have 2 arc's I would really appreciate some feedback on. Both have custom critters from a new villian group I created. The first arc is called "Meet The Icerya" arc# 176180 the other one is called "How it all began" arc # 31822

I would really like to have some people try out my arc's, and get some feedback on them. It is so hard to get people to try other peoples arc's unless they are a farm mish.

I put alot of thought, and research into the names, and look of my custom critters. I also put alot of dialouge in the story, and in the info section of the critters themselves. They have descriptions, and so does the custom contact I made for the first mentioned arc. The contact even has a new group, and story lore to it.

Please check them out, and let me know what you think.

    Thanks

Here is my Arc #31822 called How it all began.
It is a 5 mish set with custom critters.
Let me know what you think about it, what is good, what is bad, what you would like to see ect...

    Thanks!
  11. Well that's great! we are not doing our normal tuesday run because of open beta. I am not even set up for the test server. I don't understand why people would even bother. I mean really you go to test try something, and are like WOW that is awesome.... then reality sets in ahh crap I have to do this all over again on the real server. I just wasted 5 hours of my life for nothing

I personally think that if plans were already made to do something that is what we should do. Beta stuff can be done on none scheduled event time.

I look forward to Tuesday, and Thursday runs, but oops something new and shiney comes, and the whole night gets changed.

I understand personal issues causing postponement of schedule play, but this I don't understand.

Just wanted to put my 10 cents in, my 2 cents were free.
  12. I'll be there, and i'll bring the spirits with me
  13. Oh and on a totally different subject. Yeah Cookies are good
  14. Memo from Lotus Cri:

Well team we were once again victorious in our efforts, and I am proud to be with you all. With that in mind I must inform you all that after we finished our tasks for Agent G. That night I had a strange vision. I can not recall any specifics of the vision unfortunately. I hope with some meditation I will discern the meaning of the vision.

I believe that what is happening with the Professor may have something to do with the lack of understanding, or recalling the vision's meaning. His experience is bringing memories of the past for me. I am again hearing the voices that were once dormant in my mind. I am not sure their intentions, but I do not believe they are dangerous, or mean us any harm.

I have much meditation to do on this matter. It may not even have to do with the Professor. It may be just me, or the nature of my being. Perhaps it is the incantations, perhaps it is something that has yet to show itself.

I tell you these things not to scare, or worry, but to inform. I will now, and always be here to help.

I wonder what tasks will be put before us by this Moonfire. She seems quite interesting, and I am sure the tasks she puts forth we will accomplish.

    Leviathan Guild member,
    Lotus Cri
  15. Believe in the mission teleporter it is your friend especially on Blue-side
Yeah Lusca is fun I was on a team on Liberty once, and we fought Lusca.
I was playing a rad/kin there was 2 teams, and we had sushi pretty quick. you have to take out each tenticle first then the main body.
If you guys wanna do this count me in i'll bring the wasabi
  16. I am good with anything we do, I would like to run any TF on hero side that we can only because i have not run many. Just let me know, and sign me up
  17. Memo from Lotus Cri:

I regret to inform you that I will not be able to start our missions at first tonight. I am in the middle of an incantation called Tempris Rapidis, and it will require my full attention until it's completion.

I will however catch up with you all tonight as soon as I have completed this task. (around 9:30-10:00 pm EST)
With this in mind I hope no large lengthy task (ie.. task force) is started as once you do I would not be able to help.

Once my task is completed it is my understanding that a new ability would come to me. It has something to do with speeding things up if I am translating this correctly. Hope everything goes well with this, and hope you all are safe. I will come to you all when you need me the most.

  18. The story of Lotus Cri:

Lotus's family first hailed from Romania they were traveling gypsies. They traveled all over the European, and Asia continents. While just a child not yet of 3 her family went to England. The year was 1873, and things were tough for a traveling family of fortune tellers, acrobats, and story tellers.

During their stay in England they were performing, and unknown to them at the time were being watched by Sir Henry of Beckensal A duke, and cousin of the queen. He was so overwhelmed by the performing gypsies that he requested them to perform in his hall. Five months later they were living on Sir Henry's land, performing in his hall, and becoming more settled then they ever thought possible.

Young Lotus began to learn from the scollars of the land at 5, and after a few years her father was made a history keeper of Sir Henry's court. He had access to thousands of books, he was to organize, sort, and make records of every book.

A few more years pass, and Lotus was now sixteen. She was a star pupil, and was assisting her father with his duties as History keeper. Her father's assistant was Thomas he was a very quiet, and strange man. Thomas had been helping Lotus's father for the past 7 years. He never said much to anyone, except Lotus.

For her sixteenth birthday Thomas showed her a Tome, and it was like nothing she had ever seen before. She would meet with Thomas every night to read this mysterious, and strange Tome. It was entitled Demonis De Nocturna Transparens (demons of the transparent night). The tome was filled with lore, enchantments, and summoning rituals.

Lotus wanted to learn more about this, and wanted to see if the rituals could be performed. Late one night she decided to try the ritual of summoning, and while in the middle of her incantation Thomas walked in, and broke the channeling she was in the middle of.

She awoke 4 hours later to find no trace of anyone she knew, or anyone at all. The tome she had was gone. She tried to make sense of what had happened, and why she felt "different". She now had a third eye in the middle of her forehead that seemed to work on its own. She also constantly heard voices in her head talking to her. They would say "How may we serve you" She continued to investigate what happened to everyone, and everthing she knew, but could not find the answers.

She begain wandering from area to area trying to figure out what had happened to her, and everything she knew. One day she met a young woman named Cecilia whom had just returned from a place called India. She brought Lotus to the hall of a great Building with but two letters on it LG.

Lotus was thankful of the kindness she was shown, and said she would repay that kindness when needed the most. A few months later she was approached by a mysterious, yet wise man who called himself De Profondious. He said he knew what happened, and would help Lotus to understand what happened, and what she now was.
    Lotus said "what I am?"
He said yes my child what you are.
    Do you want to know?
    "yes" said Lotus.
He said "very well I will tell you what you are, what you will be, and how you will be.
First you are no longer human. you are joined with the spirit world the demon spirit world. They are what you hear, and why you have the third eye. It is the mark of the Nocturna Transparens.

Number two what you will be. You will be a member of this house this guild the Leviathan Guild.

As for the third how you will be. You will be the savior of the weak, and helpless. You will do this only after you have learned how to control what you are, and what you can do. We will help you with this. Oh and by the way you do not have a choice in this you will because it is your destiny. The reason you will do this is because I know what happened, and you will repay your debt.

You have the heart of a hero, but no control of what you are yet....

After a year Lotus knew what she now was, and what she was able to do. She can cuse kinetic ripples that do different things. She can drain power from people, speed things up, even cause wounds to go away. She also has spirit friends who aide her in her quest of redeption. The demon inside her has been merged with her own psyche, and now the two are one.

Lotus is a proud member of the Leviathan Guild, and will do everything within her to serve the cause.
  19. Whoo Hoo! stealth for the win
I would like to do what ever TF's we can since I have done absolutely none of the Blue-side ones, so torment away :P
  20. Also I need to know which background I am to fill. I can then make up my back story for that concept, and make it fit with my powerset, and look.

I can go either way with the Occult Master, or the Lost Tribe warrior (who says a warrior has to have a sword )

Thanks again for allowing me to join up with a great group of players. I won't let ya down
  21. [ QUOTE ]
    So, Posi now or later?

    Pros:
    -Lots of merits
    -We won't miss our powers
    -We get it over with
-We will still level at least at first

    Cons:
    -Two nights of Posi
-No one has stealth yet, adding length
-We'll probably hit the level cap

    [/ QUOTE ]

I have superior invisibility so we do have a person with stealth
I would like to do any of the TF's we can on hero side. I have mostly been on Red-side, so any new Blue-side stuff would be great.
Also I would like to thank everyone for welcoming me to the team, and I am also sorry for any problems that my joining may have caused.

I did not want, or intentionally make Lotus Cri to replace anyone, or to make anyone feel less special.

I made Illusion because like I said I have always been on Red-side, and wanted to try a powerset I had never done before, or would be able to do on Red-side.

I took Kin because who doesn't want SB, and fulcrum shift

So again I meant no disrespect, nor problems for, or with anyone.
  22. I'm in if you want me. just made a new Hero Named Lotus Cri she is the magic demon master of the occult variety concept character.
