  2. I am running a DM/WP Brute. I am currently taking Vigor for my Alpha as even with /WP I was having some end issues and the health and accuracy went nicely and all were useful. I have Ion for Judgement. I am debating through a few for Interface though. Diamagnetic, Paralytic, and Reactive all seem like good choices. Anyone have any input or advice?


    Well an update to this is I am now also considering changing Alpha to Agility.
    Any thoughts on Alpha and Interface would be appreciated.
  3. Also how useful is Overload anyone? Debating its usefulness compared to the penalty you suffer after it.

    I've found Resurgence pretty useless. It does nothing to prevent enemies from killing you as you stand up, before you can even retoggle. Combat Jumping, for example, would be much more helpful, and even give you another place to slot a LotG.

    Resurgence has been so so on my DM/WP and you are right to do it over again I wouldn't take it. I just basically used the old template and changed DM to TW then reslotted.
    As for Tough slots is something that i was really tight on. Still looking at it and trying to debate where I can take them from. Also would have liked more slots for Momentum too.
  8. Trying to mess with slotting and numbers now that mids is upgraded. Not too sure if my def/resist will be enough. I basically used my DM/WP brute for slotting ideas but my totals for TW/WP are coming up less. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Also what are most of you thinking for your Alpha? I'm thinking Spiritual but haven't decided.

    Also looking at Def Sweep and wondering with final numbers if I should just slot it for defense set.

    I 6 slotted Gaussians because many of the bonuses for that set hit points, dmg buff, Recovery and def all would seem beneficial. What would you suggest instead I would like to keep build up though.
  11. Still a little help would be nice. Also to add to this what about Incarnate powers at least for the alpha. Musculature for the dmg? Does Vigor work on healing from regen? Or Spiritual for the faster recharge?
  12. This is my first try on planning a brute. I like WP or at least the idea of insane regen outpacing dmg. So please any advise is appreciated. The reason I went DM is it supplies a heal kind of in Siphon Life to go along with the regen.

  13. Thanks. Got him to 24 today almost all with sewer runs. So I tried to do some equal con missions. Got 3 on me and had to run health dropped that fast. Maybe top end when slotted thats not the case but leveling up with hardly anything slotted its rough.
  14. Still kind of new to the game and looked at some builds. I know kat/wp is suppose to be the best for def or one of the lawnmower(fire aura, elec aura) builds but I wanted to try Spines/WP. I have been working a corruptor up fire/time and well he has severe soloing probs so I am looking for something that can solo and survive. Please any suggestions would be appreciated. If Spines/WP will not work as a good soloable char then what else will work with spines/.

  15. Thanks for the build. Ithink i may use that but tweak it some. I just dont seem to have luck with fire breath so may use a couple of those slots somewhere. Not sure where. The Perma Chronoshift is nice. I guess if you have other thoughts besides focused accuracy that's changeable. Wasnt sure how much accuracy i would need.
  16. Ok if I got rid of Blazing Bolt and was looking at Maneuvers. If I went for that would it be better to slot it then Weave? And do I need 4 def toggles? Scorp Shield, Maneuvers, Tough and Weave? Been spending a lot of time trying to get everything reslotted because I got about 4 lvls I need to train up on my toon. Here is the changes so far not counting reslotting of Maneuvers. Also Assault looks good since I am mainly there for dps but I do like to live to deal it.
    Was thinking of dropping Tough and moving slots from Weave to Maneuvers but not sure. In the slot for Tough pick up Assault

    Or is Inferno worth taking?

  17. Sorry was my first time using the builder so did not know which way to export it for the best results.

    As for slotting yes a lot of it was guessing except I knew my main spells that i use are Fire Blast, Fire Ball, Rain of Fire and Temp Mending. So I was attempting to max them out. And I must be one of the few people that does not have good luck with the cone powers. Never seem to get many with it.

    I guess maybe I did not understand the Distortion Field ability.

    I figured the snipe attack was a good leadoff attack thats why I slotted it more but can definately change that if it won't get more use. Also what ability do you think instead of Blazing Bolt?

    I can look at 6 slotting Numina's into Chrono also. If Miracle is not a good fit for Temp Mending any suggestions?

  18. So trying to figure out my first corruptor build. And tried searches on forums many times for fire/time builds but got no luck. The slotting levels is not correct I basically went for abilities first then figured out what to slot. I may need to redo it all and slot by level but not sure. So any thoughts on this:
