Is it bad? Yes and no. Electric Armor doesn't have a Self Heal, wich is not that bad because anyone can pick up Aid Self. Problem is, the armor is Resistance Based thus you'll get hit and often. Whereas its not so much of a problem to not have a Self Heal (Dull Pain, Healing Flames ect) if your armor set is Defense based because you get Hit less.

Actually being hit is a good thing for Brutes, it helps build your fury up.

I'm currently playing claws/SR and to be honest its the most fun I've had in the game for a long time. Shes the first stalker I've played who can solo bank raids as well (or even better than a brute). She plays more like a scrapper than a stalker so much so that I waited till lvl 30 before getting placate and have build up planned for 32. Claws + stealth is a great combo.

Claws is fast and with I7 gets faster and cheaper on endurance. Slash gives you a defense debuff and with I7 this is as short as the first attack.


Focus is the god power of the set, allows you to pull and hit and run incredibly well.

To try and build an SR set without the toggles you are asking for trouble, have you considered regen instead?

I pretty much stopped playing my regen stalker for this very reason, I simply got fed up with it dying all the time. Regen for stalkers is flawed as they don't have the same base hitpoint as scrappers so the regen rate is slower.

I rolled a claws/sr stalker and am having much more fun and success playing her than I did with my regen.

I've been waiting since the inital announcement of the AT to recreate my orignal (and now deleted) CoH scrapper as a leccy brute. The set fits the character well and it works well on the test server.

I exclusively play CoV.. tried CoH for 6 months and got so bored of it that I cancelled my account. Only reinstated it once I got it free with CoV. CoH I hated the Hollows, hated the pointless travel, the stupid Kill X in Y missions and just about everything else everybody always moans about.

I prefer the ATs in CoV as I think each is much more self reliant (as fits a villain over a hero). I love bank raids, I love the look and feel of the game over all and with Mayhem Missions just around the corner will be here for a while to come yet.

A friend of mine is currently playing a Rad/Kin and it seems like a very good mix, both pools compliment each other nicely.

-What do you think of the corruptor in pvp and pve?
PVE Great support character but can also lay down massive damage. Can solo quite well but works best as a team characters (primary healers in CoV)

-What kind of builds are mostly used?
Many and varied primary is blaster like and pretty much up to personal preference

-Is this archtype similar to some archtype of the hero side? if yes which?
Blaster primary with defender secondaries

-What is the primary role of the Corruptor in battle?
Support but my Energy Rad is a great boss killer

-And what dose Issue 7/the future bring for the corruptor?
Patron powers give corrupters armour and pets

Was on one the other night, 6 corrupters 1 stalker and a Brute.

Steam rollered everything until we got split up and mullered

My Energy/Rad is definitely an all round butt kicker while my AR/Kin is more team orientated (at - this may change when she gets Full Auto).

Neither are Healers and any corrupter who advertises them selfs as such is doing the AT an injustice.

Made a new alt last night, Claws/SR and teamed with a mate who was Claws/Regen and we owned. Claws is such a quick set that you can destroy pretty much any mob between you in minutes. The MM we had was pretty much left getting free XP

I've noticed a trend recently toward /rad corrupters that don't have Radiation Infection???

To me this is the single most useful power in the whole set (if not the game) and to miss it out is to gimp the entire /rad powerset.

Which is the best AR flame power Ignite or Flame Thrower?

I initially skipped over Flamer thrower due to advice from a previous AR player but was planning on taking Ignite, is this a wise choice or should I take both and find something else to dump?

I played a Dark/ Thermal upto lvl 16 but ended up deleting it as I found Dark not quite offensive enough as an attack set without the accompanying Dark secondary.

Dark Snipe does have one of the best ranges for any of the corrupters powers 175 as opposed to 150 for most others and if I remember correctly it is one of the most damaging Dark attacks.

Hostile is interested.. she's got to lvl 15 with no SG so far but even a Covert Op Corrupter needs friends.

Who does she contact for an invite?

My lvl 40 Ene/Rad has 3 Heal SOs and 3 Recharge Redux SOs when in a group she can pulse off Radiant Aura once every 7 seconds with virtually no Endurance Cost (well very little). Priceless when attacking the tree in the Respec mission.

I currently enjoying an AR/Kin corrupter.. the Speed Siphon and Power Siphon boost recharge rate and damage respectively so she can shoot quicker and lay down more deadly fire. I just love bank raids with an AR but Snipe is my favourite so far. Only question is why doesn't AR get an Aim?

My lvl 32 stalkler would be up for it.. about time I got rid of spineburst.

I love stalkers, they rock and tbh unless you've played one you really don't know how good it feels to stalk and AS someone. Its a fitting revenge for the hell we have to go through in early level bank raids

We are squishy but we are also surgical. My stalker is generally an asset to team, wanna ghost a mission, get the stalker to do it. Can't complete the mission cause the mobs are way to hard.. get the stalker to find the Boss then TP the rest of team there for nice quick mission.
