stalkers snipes

Yesterday i got to lvl 41 on my stalker and picked up scirocco's patron and picked Zzap but thought i should warn the other stalkers in the community about the stalkers snipes.
They are 70% of corruptor damage and twice the activation time.
Out of the box this thing will do 90 damage with BU and critical from hide for 90/90 so don't expect huge amounts of damage .. i expect nothing more than 150 dmg, 300 with the crit when fully slotted.
Activation time is VERY long so your going to be stood there with your arm out waiting for the thing to fire for a good 10-15 seconds.

Don't expect big things peeps as its just a cut down version of a corr snipe with alot less damage and x2 activation time.

Afaik a normal snipes activation time is 4 seconds.. hum.. well we all knew they were going to be nerfed from the start heh

i don't know the actual figure but its more than 10 seconds because you can kill something then activate the snipe and rehide before the damn thing fires so i reckon its closer to 12 seconds

could you guess the interrupt time?is it 7 sc as rumored?
(im starting to think theres only a PPP that is not useless:web coocoon)

I just timed it, it's 7 seconds. And pretty poor. I'm copying to test now to think about respecing in the bolts instead.

Well it also says its Extreme DMG.

Trust me, it's more like Minor DMG.

lvl 42 just added 2 dmg 1 inter redux (1 acc 2 dmg 1 inter redux).. activation time is 7 seconds and its criting on crey for 154/154 with BU

Seems ill be finally getting fitness as I'm only interested in the hold then (any idea of the hold mag it will be?)

Compare that to another attack that supposedly deals Extreme DMG.

My Golden Dragonfly, at lvl 41, deals 227/227 Built Up - against a +2 freakshow minion.

In fact, my Soaring Dragon, which is only Superior DMG, does 126/126 (same mob) without build up, and it's only 4-slotted.

I think this sniper should be doing at least 150% the dmg it's doing at the moment....

yeah but the thing is we knew it would never be the same dmg as a blasters snipe and 70% of a corr snipe is not that bad.
I'm close to lvl 43 and will be fully slotting mine so i'll let you guys know of the outcome.

I'm not really saying it's a terrible power, once slotted. But... we're in the last 10 lvls of our alts, leading to the ultimate lvl, 50. These should be the best powers we get. Everyone looks forward to their lvl 32 primary and lvl 38 secondary, and they're nearly always as good as you hope -- not so for this Patron Power.

4 words: Mastermind Patron Power Pools...

lvl 43 just slotted and tested and its criting for 176/176 same as golden dragonfly without BU so its alittle over what i expected which was 150/150.
oh its not worth slotting 2 inter reduxs in as 2 don't reduce the activation time down anymore than 7 seconds.. just stick with 1.
