No changes on my PC at all, not even virus updates since I started this thread, and all of a sudden everything is fine again. For me anyway.

I just set all the settings as Texas_Justice suggested for you as well (except for water, which I already had at medium). I logged into Oroborous, and then into my mission (defeat trapdoor) 6 times in a row (go in, turn around go out, etc) before a crash.
Again the blue bar was barely a blip across the screen, and it was not the mission map screen, but rather the white login screen (states and the robot) where it hangs (which I don't know if anyone has mentioned, but that is always the screen it hangs at for some reason.)
After the crash I received, "the account is already logged in", followed by "The game client was unable to connect to the login server" (twice in fact, before a successful server list).
I hope some of this is useful to someone with more knowledge than I. -

Occasionally it doesn't crash when I zone, but then this always happens: The loading screen appears with <5% loaded(small amount on the loading bar), it sits on that screen for a couple seconds, then it flashes a new loading screen and starts from 0% until it fills the bar and I actually zone. To me it seems like something's happening during zoning that causes a mapserver disconnect, but I don't have a B.S. in Computer Science so that's just a guess on my part.
The game is unplayable at this point, it's just an exercise in frustration to even try. The bug that wiped most of my character's power trays was trivial compared to this, annoying, but I was still able to play the game on Tuesday. The failure cascade began Wednesday afternoon, and has continued ever since.
If I stay in one zone, and just pick up gifts, the game runs fine. So I did that for about an hour last night until I grew so bored that I tried to enter a mission...and the game crashed just like I knew it would. This is ridiculous.
It's not fun to receive such a nicely wrapped gift only to unwrap it and find a lump of coal.
Tech Specs:
Windows 7 64 bit home premium
16 GB RAM (I do photoshop stuff...)
Launcher always closes automatically
Graphics card is a GeForce560Ti (Basically the best I could buy about 4 months ago)
Any help is greatly appreciated, the game is unplayable as is.
EDIT: I should add that if I do manage to get into a mission I can play seamlessly throughout the entire session until I need to load out of the mission, and then it is a crap shoot agian.
Also, I logged in safe mode and flawlessly zoned in/out about a dozen times in a row. Though to be honest, I have no idea exactly what safe mode does, and the graphics settings are beyond awful.

It is currently in 'the bank' for my next character (who *WILL* be a staff fighter!). Funny thing too, just after I posted this I got two more purples on the same character the very next day within 10 minutes of each other. They were both part of the Absolute Amazement set, so worth a total 300,000,000 roughly for both.

I am both happy and sad to know that there are others in my boat. They are taking the game down for maintenance today, so hopefully they will find/fix something going on with the Map Server as well.

Just since the patch today I, every time I attempt to load into a mission, 1 out of 5 attempts is succseful and the other 4 results in a MapServer disconnect.
Happens on both my PCs, anyone else seeing this too? -
OK, So I've been playing since Beta, and have gotten the occasional purple. For some reason I always seem to get the sleep or confuse set, and make maybe 30 million if I'm lucky. Last night I got myself a Ragnarok Dmg/Rch, I crafted it, put it on the market and went to bed.
This morning I am 600,000,000 richer! Woot! (I know, it ain't much to some of you crazies, but that represents 1/10 of my total wealth across all characters now!) -

Well as long as the "claim all" option will allow you shoot yourself in the foot with things like picking the wrong Vet attack power in the wrong order (to mess up the Origin bonus you get) I'll gladly waste an extra 30 seconds to pick everything manually to be sure of my selections.
Sure if I made 10 new characters a day I might want to care about a "claim all" option. But since I don't I'll probably never use that button. YMMV of course.

Hey Sam, I have a Dual Pistols / Time manipulation corruptor who is pretty close to a scrapper. Soft-capped defense to all positions, and a huge -tohit debuff on anything within 25 feet make her a monster.
I conceptually wanted a pistol scrapper, and this is pretty close (or at least as close as we're going to get without a melee set).

Interesting. Without knowing anything about the film at this point, I am guessing that Loki will be the big bad they all have to fight. Possibly with the acquisition of the cosmic cube?

Thanks for the information guys. According to my account summary I received the 550 stipend points on Oct 12th. I don't recall them going up at all, but I can't really prove that they didn't. It is possible everything is just fine and I'm being a bit paranoid.
I guess I'll take a screen shot of the current values of tokens and points and see what happens in the next couple of days. -
Yep, I've been here since day one and have never missed a payment. I started paying annually about 3 years ago. The 'live chat' option looks like it will be available in about an hour, I'll give that a shot.

I ask, because to date I have exactly zero applied to my account. I've gotten 2 character transfers, but no points and no tokens. I can't seem to find any way to figure out how many I should have gotten, or a log of what I have received?
To make matters 'worse', I have purchased points (10,000) and have used all the tokens I currently care to (Tier 9 VIP all used up, with 10 banked). My current point balance is 8020, and while it certainly goes down when I make purchases I have never seen it go up (except when I obviously purchased the 10k to begin with). -

Interestingly enough the code for this is at least partially written. If you switch from one build to another on the same character all of your powers move around to where you placed them on that individual build.
New code would of course there would have to be some exception code to leave blank spots for powers you no longer have, and skip adding powers you didn't have before, and roughly a half million things I am sure I'm not thinking of (see standard code rant), but I would *LOVE* these commands to be added to game.
