  1. Consolidation should be fairly simple, in principle.

There are 8 channels on Champion devoted to badges, monsters, and TFs.

Decide on one channel, go into the others, and change the message of the day directing folks to move by a certain date. After that day + some slack, have an operator go in and boot the stragglers and delete the channel.
  2. bump

Here's a silly thought...any chance of consolidating a lot of these redundant channels? We only get 5 after all....

  9. (AP Paragon City)

At a Longbow press conference today, officials annouced that Dr. Demonica's threat level was raised from 49 to 50, effective this morning. A Longbow spokesman cited the threat level increase was a result of Dr. Demonica's increasingly frequent and violent assaults upon Paragon City, and his ability to resist arrest by authorities, normal and paranormal alike.

Citizens are urged to report any sightings of Dr. Demonica immediately to Longbow authorities, and they are cautioned to avoid all contact with the extremely dangerous archvillain.

Dr. Demonica is the known leader of the villain group DOOMSDAY, and is the second member of the group to reach this incredibly dangerous threat level.

Kiloton, of the supergroup MEGAFORCE, was present at this press conference, and gave the following statement to the press:

"Dr. Demonica is an evil, twisted man, whose robotic creations have wrecked untold havoc upon Paragon City. He is responsible for millions of dollars in property damage, and he is directly responsible for the death of several of my MEGAFORCE collegues. MEGAFORCE will never rest until this sick, twisted villain is brought to justice, and his reign of terror over the citizens of Paragon City ended."

  13. Great thread! I got a good chuckle out of a few of these.

Fury-lock? Bah, a brute can do a lot of good things with blinking red health. Try to keep up...
  14. Mr. Malice, your pathetic ramblings appear to slowly converge on truth.

You may prove useful to me yet. Do not fail me, the wrath of Dr. Demonica is stern indeed.

    Tanker Update

I'm hearing stuff like this a lot, and I just don't buy it. I have a lvl 33 invuln/ss tank on champion (Kiloton), and I don't see those problems. Before update #2, I would get compliments on how much punishment I could take. More so after update #2.

I did respec, but not to try and game the system with perma-this and hasten-that, but something that made sense for my character conception. Mez is still and issue (how about a very slow movement with unstoppable, like hover has?), but that's life.

If you're friend is the first to die on a team mission, then perhaps the team he's on is reaching too high. You have to know your limits. Just because you can attack a group of lvl 38 bosses at level 29 doesn't mean it's a good idea. My tank is able to withstand a lvl 36 mob of Lts and bosses, but not forever. Nor should he. But he can take the punishment for a while, and that's what a tank's job is supposed to be about.

"Why can't my lvl 1 AT solo lvl 50 arch villians...boo hoo..it's not fair--I'm gonna quit" I'm so sick of hearing this song, someone change the record, please.
