Basically, not everyone in game trolls these forums, we have posted here to let those who do know about it first. We will be announcing this event periodically in Broadcast in game as well (but not enough to warrant it being called spamming). For those who don't use the forum at all, there is the e-mail avenue.

We are organising this in our own time using our own resources. The event will be staffed by our members who will be giving up their time to try and give YOU something different to do in the game. That is why it is a "MoX event".

I really can't see what peoples problem is with this and I have to admint that all of this flak is totally unexpected. Makes me feel unwelcome on these boards. It seems that just because I want to do things MY way using MY facilities with which I am familiar I am treated with derision and suspicion.....THAT seems like elitism to me.

Yep, personal forcefield...during testing I watched a toon stand in the middle of a bunch of level 14 trolls and take everything they could throw at him for a good 30 seconds...then he moved on and aggroed another group...they could hardly touch him as well!!!

Oh and the question about Siphon speed, absolutely correct!!! If you'd have asked me yesterday I'd have sworn blind it was available at level 4!!! Must have been overlooked from the early days of this idea where we were thinking of a level range of 5-10...er...thanks for pointing that out LOL

OK. Firstly, we are not EVER in the habit of sending unsolicited e-mails...EVER EVER EVER!!
Secondly, I apologise if my last post came across as somewhat aggressive, that was not my intention. I was just absolutely baffled at the suspicion aimed at MoX with no apparent reason.
Thirdly, you're right, this thread is now ruined thanks to the posts of a few paranoid people. Thanks.

Seriously though...what the hell is the problem with sending an email or spending a few minutes to sign in to a forum? Are you people really so paranoid about someone nicking your e-mail address that you'd refuse to enter the competition on those grounds alone? We are a gaming clan...not a criminal syndicate and we are trying to put on an event that might just be in danger of being enjoyable and fun. If I wanted to harvest email addresses there are lots of other sources that require a lot less effort and yeild much better results.

If you are really that paranoid and suspicious then fine, sign up via this thread...

Eh? You really think we'd go to all this effort just to harvest a few e-mail addresses? Seriously, what would be the point in us doing that? We'd get maybe 20-30 addresses and completely alienate a community we're proud to be a part of...

It's gonna take a lot of organising and doing the sign ups via the avenues we've chosen will make that burden a whole lot easier to deal with. At the end of the day, this is for fun...and 3million Inf and a unique forum title. Nothing more and nothing less. Sign up to the forums if you want or send me an email via the address I detailed....or don't.

It doesn't take long to sign up, you only need to make the post for signing up and then check back periodically. It just makes admin for us so much easier than having a thread on here. There is also an email address set up especially for this event. To avoid it becoming a spam magnet I've put lots of spaces in it...there are no spaces in the actual addy....

That kind of says it all really...we never claimed to be the biggest coalition on Union....Just the biggest SG.

We team one hell of a lot with "others" as well as teaming with ourselves. I think in my 1 1/2 years of gaming I've teamed with members of the 1AT coalition about 4 times. It's not surprising some of you have never heard of us, the SG itself is a bit less than a year old...and there's quite a few players knocking around on Union you know

Stone tanks are the easiest victimes of SB addiction!!! but it's so true I've actually made it a part of my toons background fluff!!!

It's pointless to use transfusion for the -regen imo. The -regen just lasts at the instant transfusion hits, the same duration as the immobilize.

Kinetics is NOT effective against AVs for -regen.

I beg to differ...took down Nemesis the other night. Got Siphon Power quadruple stacked on occasion and the -regen from transfusion mainly affects end for about 5 seconds.

The group I joined was stuck in a stalemate till i arrived...then I drained him for all I was worth and we took him down. Just my humble opinion of course.

...and in the not too distant future we might just possibly maybe kind of organising a Galaxy to PI level 1 gauntlet run...with an even bigger prize!!!....maybe!

I've teamed with people so BAD at this game that I would never even dream of /sginvite-ing them...or people so selfish in the way they play the game that they would never fit into the SG ethic...

Personally I would much rather see how a person plays before I invite them...usually a good solid hour of teaming is enough to make an informed decision.

We're on Union BUT if this takes off or proves popular, we may wander over to Defiant or more likely the Test Server....

Before being invited into an SG it is common sense to at least team with the person in question. See if there play style fits in with you and the rest of your SG....test the water so to speak.

As to the purpose of a Supergroup, at its most basic level it's team members on tap...team members whose abilities and playstyles are familiar to you. Going up the scale SG's can be attached to websites, forums and the like, a few, like MoX and AoW have teamspeak servers. At its peak, an SG is a community of friends who are all working for the same goal...enjoyment of this game.

We are a multi-game clan with a big CoH following....but most significantly, we let our members play the game the way they want to play it. If you want to get involved in organised events then you can...if you just want team members on tap then thats fine too...

I am currently trying to raise interest in this raid with my SG. We have rather a lot of 50's so its more a matter of what you need than what we can offer...
