Well, you can use SuckerPunch's CoH Planner. I'd use the new I16 version, since the older I9 version has all kinds of problems, not to mention doesn't have all the new IOs or powerset proliferations.
It also lets you slot the same Set IO more than once... >.>
Here's an example export from the new I16 version:

Yeah, they overcharge for not doing much. Data Recovery Places will nevar get my moneis!!!
Seriously, though, due to their (IMO) retardedly high costs, I never consider a data recovery place as an option.
Ah well. The HDD is dead. Time to start scouting out a replacement, for when we can afford it. Only problem is that it's an EIDE and not SATA system... -

Good point. I updated my OP.

And a 2nd patch today to bring the Training Room Server up to date with the Patcher.
I still find it funy that the Patcher was ahead of the Server. :P -

Yup. Seems the 250 is dead. I had an old 80 GB laying around, so I stuck that in as a second HDD. The original 80 GB wouldn't boot. It kept asking me to choose which OS to boot to, Win7 or WinXP, and both returned an error. So, I used the old 80 GB, and re-installed Win7 on that.
After I was done, I plugged in her 80 GB, and when Win7 found it, it said, "Your M*gibberish letters* *random numbers* is installed and ready to use!!". o.0 It's a Maxtor HDD. Went to Device Manager, and removed it, then told it to scan for new hardward, and it installed it as a Maxtor HDD. Oddly, it was assigned the drive letter of I...
I'm currently copying everyting off of that onto my 500 GB WD MyBook. Then, if it goes splort, we'll at least have access to the data that was on it. I'm gonna try to pu tthe 250 back in as a secondary HDD, so that I can copy data off of it, too, but at this point, I'm not expecting it to boot.
Once again, thanks for the help, all! -
I've talked to myself for forever. At least I occasionally give myself the answers that I want.

Well ****.
I put the HDD into her old case, put the network card in, put my DVD Burner in, took it back to her office, and plugged everything in.
First thing we noticed was that the power light on the front was blinking orange. ******* ****!!
A search on Google returned about 98983490582385902389058239085902385 different problems and twice as many solutions. Son of a *****!! Computers are such a pain in the ***!
I unplugged everything, and brought her case into my office. Plugged it into the wall here, and same thing. I disconnected the DVD burner, and same thing. Then, on a whim, I unplugged my 250 GB HDD, and plugged in her 80 GB HDD. It seemed to boot up fine. Monkey ******* *** kicking son of a donkey ****!!
So, that makes me wonder if the PSU on my case is really shot, or if it was the HDD causing the problem. Right now, I'm so pissed I don't feel like ripping everything out and stuffing it back in just to see, so I decided to ask here:
Might it be that the HDD was dead and causing it to not boot, and not the PSU? Should I stick the old 80 GB HDD into my case, and try booting up? Or should I go back in time, and shoot the inventor of the computer... -
To answer my question, yes, there is another 10 MB patch in addition to yesterday's patch.
And upon attempting to select a server, I get the following error:
Code:Wrong game version, run patcher and reconnect, server 1800.201003162246.1, client 1800.201003232152.0
*listens*
Yes, I can hear the cries and howls of frustration and outrage from the Closed Beta section!! -
I tried what you said, Back_Blast, and no go. Tried plugging it into a different outlet in a different room, and no go. Looks like the PSU is dead.
And unfortunatly, right now, I don't think we can afford to get a new one.
I'll look around and see what I can find. Until then, I'm probably just gonna stick the HDDs and network card into her old case.
Thanks for the help! -

Why do computer problems always come in droves? Or, like a group of crows, in murders?
Anyway, around the end of February, I got a new PC. I was going to upgrade The Wife's PC by putting my 2GB RAM and larger HDD into her case. I found out that she was already at the max RAM for her mobo (1 GB), so instead, I set her up on my old PC, placing her PC's HDD into the case as a second HDD, and putting her network card into the case. (And yes, we had already found out a few years back that both of our computers use the exact same type of RAM.)
Everything was going great until this morning. I woke up to find The Wife in the living room with her laptop. She told me that her computer won't turn on. Since I just woke up, I was thinking she meant it wouldn't boot up. I went into her office, and pressed the power button. Nothing happened.
I unplugged everything, and opened the case. I didn't see anything that looked burned or melted, and I didn't smell anything.
I plugged the power cord back in, and the little green light on the back of the case came on saying it was getting power. So, I reached around and pressed the power button, and the PSU's fan twitched as I let go of the button, and then the little green light went out. I unplugged the power cord, and was trying to think of what I should do, when I though I saw the green light flash. I plugged the power cord back in, and the green light lit up. Pressed the power button again, and the same thing happened. When I let go of the button, the fan twitched, and the green light went out.
I unplugged the cord, and waited to see if the green light would flash again, and it did. I plugged the cord back in, looked at the clock, and pressed the power button. Same results. Unplugged the cord, and waited for the green light to flash. It took 15 seconds.
And now, I'm asking for some help here. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? Is the PSU dead/dying? That's the only think I can think of, but I don't know as much as you guys & gals do. -

Quote:And with Niv gone, leaving them down one Community Mod, this is very plausible. As to the OP: The guess that clearing out the old Beta forums is a portent of new Beta forums is a rather good one. That has been the history. However, I've seen the old ones cleared and the new ones for a new beta not show up for a week or two. The mods have been known to get work done ahead of time by setting up the new forum in a private area and setting up the feedback and bug threads so that when the beta starts, all they need do is flip a switch making those forums accessible to players.

Why are there two training rooms?
Simple. They are testing I17's In-Game E-Mail Attachment Feature. They need a 2nd server to make SURE that you can access your attachments across all servers.
They did the same thing when they were first testing the Consignment House, and again when first testing Character Transfers.
