Well, I was at work today, and so the thread was here when I got home.

Plus, you have chosen to Hide Age And Date Of Birth, so you do not show up on today's date on the forum Calendar. With the loss of the Cake icon beside names of those having a birthday, if you hide your info, I have no idea you're having a bidet, er... b-day. Sorry.

Man, I ******* HATE The Wife™'s new Lexmark all-in-one printer/copier/scanner/fax. Stupid piece of **** won't scan in pencils. I had to take a green marker and orange highlighter, and make a box around the following image to get the damned thing to scan. Stupid modern technology.

I just read the replies to her, and she giggled quite a bit.

On Monday, after school, The Child™ came to me with some empty toilet paper tubes in her hand, told me that she had to make a castle for school, and asked if I had any boxes she could use.

Being the wise Father I am, I told her to wait for her Mother to come home from work, and ask her, since she should have plenty of boxes that weren't being used to hold junk.

We gave her some empty boxes and a roll of duct tape.

Yesterday, after her chores, she went to town making her castle. She got everything done, except for the four towers she wanted to put on it. She'd wrapped four tp tubes in duct tape, and needed to stick them on. She wanted to put some cones on the top of them, to make them like the towers in her sketch:



The Wife™ attempted to help her with making those, but they couldn't come up with a design they liked.

During dinner, I suggested putting crenelations on top of them instead. Since that would be easier, she agreed.

After dinner, we all went into The Wife's™ office, where she used some card stock to draw some crenelations. I asked what was wrong with using Google to find a template, and then came to my office, and found something better. Someone had created some GIFs that could be printed out and used to make a castle. I printed a copy of the image for the tower, and after a little tweaking, we made it work.

I used an X-Acto knife to cut the spaces in the crenelations, The Wife™ wrapped them around the tubes and stapled them, and then we went back to the dining room to attach them.

While we were trying to come up with a way to attach them, The Wife™ & I helped The Child™ touch things up, and showed her how to make a flag that would stick to the stick she got out of the yard.

We got the towers stuck onto the castle, and I took some pics to show off here.

Granted, it doesn't really look anything like her drawing, but that was just to give an idea.

So, there you have it. She's turning it in tomorrow. It was kinda fun to help. I hope she gets more projects like this next year.

The only things I know about those two powers are that Oppresive Gloom is a Damage Aura, so you'll have to be in melee range to get any benefit from it, and Night Fall is a Cone, so you'll have to line foes up just right to get more than one.

I'd ask in the Masterminds section of the forums. The experts there will give you excellent answers.

Also, if anyone wants to take a look at the thing, so they can really rip it apart, a quick Google Search of City of Heroes Vade Mecum will return a link where you can... aquire... the "book".

Go with War Mace. I don't think I've ever seen an Ice/Mace Tanker, and mace is pretty awesome. And better than Axe.

Well, the first obvious question is this: Are the @Global Chat Servers up? E-mail is tied to them. If they're down, you can't claim or send e-mails.

The second obvious question is this: Is the character attempting to send the e-mail Level 10+? Characters under Level 10 can claim attachments, but can't send e-mail, with or without attachments.

I'm highly amused by the fact that everyone missed the fact that Castle's post was being sarcastic.

Too bad you couldn't edit out the Dual Blades for the Shoryuken. And I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees/thinks that... >.>
