Everybody, out of the pool... CANNOBNBALL!!

That's freakin' WIN right there. You need to get us a pic of it.

Welcome to the interwebs, where unsubstantiated rumors persist. I've given up trying to kill the BS that is the, "Cross-Server Teaming" rumor. I hope you do better than I did.

    I support the DumpleBerry!!
  2. Sorry, but it's just another stupid meme, like the the Chuck Norris crap. Is he talented? Yes. Is he silly? Yes. Is he sexy? No.

Ah, yes. Provided you can slot more than one into the same power, that would then make sense. Meet the Lowbie Brawl Of Procs!!

Correct. That's what I said in Post #5, and you expanded on it. That should cover it.

Making costume parts doesn't qualify him as sexy. Sorry.
  6. I might have misunderstood what you were saying, but you only get one of each per character, and they're bound like Tickets or Merits. So, you couldn't slot two Clockwork Efficiency.
  7. I track the stuff for making the 10-50 Common IOs. For Set IOs, I use All Star's Recipe Cookbook (which I still need to update to the latest version... >.<)
  8. Nah. I can easily beat him by either outrunning him, or Melvining him.

    Have you seen my stapler?

Ah. Mayflies. Damned Canadans giving odd names to things.
  10. Dunno if you can top this one...

He's an underprivileged Amish waffle chef possessed of the uncanny powers of an insect. She's a virginal goth archaeologist trying to make a difference in a man's world. They fight crime!

  14. I have a big *** Excel Spreadsheet, where I track almost everything.
  15. Something Amerikatt would enjoy:

Kittehs and water don’t usually mix, but Nazzaning, a six-year-old Turkish Van cat (Turkish Vans are natural swimmers), is using water for her own good. She was suffering from partial paralysis in her paw and couldn’t walk anymore. A neurologist at the hospital suggested hydrotherapy to help Nazzaning walk again. He explained, “Her muscles needed to learn how to move the correct way again, and because she’s partially buoyant in water, if she makes a mistake it’s much less severe than if she’s walking on dry land.”

Nazzaning is one of the first cats to successfully undergo hydrotherapy treatment, and after nine sessions, she is almost back to her normal self running around and ruling the house.

  16. Headline: Local Man Celbrates Birthday, Attributes Life To Not Dying

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOCAL MAN!!
  17. I blame Jay for giving people ideas with Nice Axe.
  18. I have a mouse pad that The Wife™ designed and ordered for me, so it totally trumps Desdemona.

I pre-ordered via Badge-Hunter to support them, and because I want the CC goodies and physical disc.

As always, in the end, YMMV.
  19. In Tosh's shorts.

    What, what, in the butt?
  20. Sistren Svetlana looks awesome, and also reminds me that I want Candy's costume parts...

Solar Maximum makes me really want energy wings.

Also: He's not Sexy Jay anymore (and was never sexy. Ugh.). He's now Nice Axe, the lumberjack hero.
  21. Yes. Yes I am.

    Where am I wearing it?

Ah, that is true. You can also see the Detailed Information for any Primary or Secondary Power during Character Creation, on the screen where you pick your starting Primary or Secondary Power.

The chat thing has been in the game for a loooong time now. I wanna say it came with I9 and the markets, but I may be wrong...

Mids' is no more cumbersome or difficult than the level up or respec system in the game.

Actually, no, you can't. If you press P (or go to Menu -> Powers), you can not right click on any power you have not picked. For example, a brand new Level 1 character can't right click on their Teir 9 power to get info. All you get is the little hover info, that gives a very, very, very short summary (ex: PBAoE, -ToHit, -Def).

Correct. The /bindloadfile command doesn't seem to be the problem. The popmenu system seems to be the culprit. Technically, it was never intended for players to use, so there are things it can't do, like send chat to a channel with a space in the name (including, but not limited to, Super Group).

Every character I make has their own bind file, and a bind of SHIFT+L "bindloadfile C:\Binds\<charname>.txt $$ em thumbsup". Those work fine. But it seems trying to use popmenu to bind doesn't work well.
  24. For me, I don't spend enough time pre-20 to justify having them, even though the collector in me wants them.
  25. I've owned 2 HP/Compaq pre-built PCs over the past 6 years. My first one was bought at Wal*Mart, and is still running strong. Granted, I've upgraded the RAM, HDD, CD-ROM (to DVD burner) and OS, and stuck a vidja card and wireless network card in it, but it's still doing fine. I gave it to The Wife™ back in February when I got my current HP from Best Buy.

Before I gave The Wife™ my old HP, she had a Dell Dimension 2400 that she also got in 2004. It, too, was just fine. It's currently sitting on the table here in my office, semi-gutted. I'll probably upgrade it some when school gets to the point where The Child™ needs a compy for schoolwork.

The only problem we had with either of those compys from 2004 were HDDs dying. IMO, for general use, they're both fine. For casual gaming, some upgrades will need to be made. For hardcore gaming, not so much without major upgrades. And for that, you're probably gonna be better off having a compy custom built for your needs.
