I also have a 50 SS/EA and agree with what Blind says. But I still think it does awesomely well in RV. Also great in Duels, as Overload last longer then IH (not sure about Elude but I think it does), so the enemy is going to crash before you do. Just make sure you get Aid Self with this set though, it's a life saver.

I would personally go with Rad as well. I feel makes a team more safe then Kinetics, but as mentioned by Wilfred, doesn't speed things up as smoothly as Kin.

Don't forget the PvP!

We did this with an all-controller team in the 1AT, starting from level 1 to level 22/23 ish before we broke up. Believe me, it was pwnage, utter destuction of mobs. Great fun.

Yeah, I think in the hands of an experienced player, KB is/can be very useful.

Depending on how much you actually team, I'd say Sirens Song would be the one worth dropping. Not that useful in teams. Howl is very useful with the spawn -Res Debuff, so I'd say keep that (shame about poor damage/high end).

Screech is not worth slotting for damage at all. (Damn bugged stats!) But I would personally keep this as it's Mag 3, so it can stun minions and Lt's (but not bosses).

I see from your sig your a Sonic/Energy blaster (hurrah for them!) and saying your trying to go mostly primary, i can only assume your only taking the buffs from the secondary? If so then Power Boost will double the duration of Screech (which can be a life saver).

Blaster! No doubt. I'll play anything, but my fave combo is Sonic/Energy. I particulary love duels with other blasters, the fast action packed 10 minutes gets my heart rate going!

And back to the OP, surely it should show some kind of status effect happening?

Recently, i've been playing my brute in RV alot, and he's great fun (SS/EA for those who don't know), but there's a problem with a power that's been getting me. Tear Gas, it seems like any AT can have this as it's been stacked on me quite a few times by different people.

It won't drop my toggles, yet it'll hinder me unable to move or the sort. It also doesn't show any change in status effects in my top right corner.

How are people getting this temp (might not be :s) and is it actually WAI?

Well Empaths are the obvious, but this is depending on wherever your talking about heroes/villains.

Pure buff/damage are normally the ones to go for.

Tbh, if I attack someone, and they ask me nicely not too for X reason, then I will probaly do so. But it's when you get the "[censored] off, [censored]" said in BC towards you, then i'll just naturally go for them all the time.

Also, I think that "braggers" may not be a good image on PvP zones, for instance, I was playing my brute in RV, and went for a group of 3 people in Overload, a scrapper, blaster and controller, too be defeated when Overload ran out and my endurance drained, the scrapper stood over me and simply said "puny villain". I would normally class myself as a level headed PvPer, but that made my blood boil.

Some people just need to grow up a little.
