Only source i know of it for now, is that the Longbow Cataphracts, (hero heavies) can fire them.
ye teh pet does that at range usually after using that 2 cannon blue beam thing.
and if the mech is SB'd + AB'd + fort'd its gonna stack loads lol

And back to the OP, surely it should show some kind of status effect happening?
I think i may have seen it on my corr or stalker a few times, cant be sure tho.
