You will miss stamina a great deal, especially running three toggles. And if you lose a pet you have to re-equip ALL of them.
My current build has soloed some of the harder avs, including Minx, Numina and Synapse. Before I respeced I had soloed over 30 avs. My prior build utilized the medicine pool instead of the leadership pool.
I usually take on six man mobs at +1 difficulty with little effort, though longbow can be a pain.

What the blazes is going on with Q & A these last two patches? -
Well I petitioned it as suggested and got an e-mail response that they were escelating it and someone would contact me but no one has and still no reward.

My last Veteran Reward was on 7-16. It is now 10-21 and I haven't gotten my 45 month reward. Last year and the year before that it was awarded on 10-17.
I've already filed a bug report, but has anyone else had this issue? This last patch fubared so much of the game I was wondering if they managed to break VRs as well. -
I was invited to every close beta until I poed Castel. It was back when he nerfed rage with a -end, -recovery upon the crash and my toggles dropped and I face planted. Castle defended the decision and a bunch of blasters agreed.
At least until I told them I hoped they fired off their nuke/aoe right after my toggles dropped and an av killed me. Soon after that the nerf was fixed and I never got into the 1st wave of a closed Beta again. Or the 2nd.
It was worth it though. -
Not trying to bump this thread, but God Lord it happened to me yet again.
This week I learned that not only were the destructable objects tinkered with so they had to be reset but one of the objects I had selected was no longer available. This just happened to be in the same arc as the Crey Hero map they pulled and have never replaced. So once again in the same arc I have to change things around that don't really fit my story because of a dev decision and once again there were no patch notes letting us know about it.
Great job. I'm so glad I did not fork over the money for more slots. I'd be better off just making farming missions. No plot, just a big outdoor map full of Rikri communication officers and hamis. -

She was security level 17. She had no receipes. The game would not allow her to cash in her tickets for a silver class receipe equal to her level because it said she had too many receipes. The exact same thing happened to me on my security level 36 character when I only had three receipes. -
She was level 17, and I had the same thing happen to me when I was level 36.

This happened to my wife yesterday. Her recipe inventory was empty, she tried to redeem her tickets for a silver class recipe and she got an error message saying she couldn't, her recipe inventory is full. Anyone else experience this?

Bots/ traps.
Got him to 50 just this saturday. He's soloed most of the avs in the game since level 24 and I left the War Zone and Cimeora missions untouched so he'll have alot of content left to do. Here's hoping for some purple drops. -
Bots/traps.
I've looked at thugs/traps builds and they don't mesh as well as Bots/traps, and your bots are ranged. GOTO them to a spot and let them pick away at the av while you tank the av out of aoe range.
And whereas the Bruiser will rush INTO aoe range and DIE repeatedly, your Assault Bot will stay out of aoe range, fire -regen bolts of plasma , and does energy damage vs smash/lethal.
/Dark is great but it requires ALOT of end to run your -dmg/-acc toggle and your group heal is accuracy based and requires your guys to be ALOT closer to the av then you'd like.
Am I saying thugs or dark can't solo avs? No. I am saying bots/traps is optimal for steam rolling through the game. I was level 46 a few days ago tankerminding level 50 mobs for my VG a few days ago and I've soloed 17 avs/heroes. -
Still no fix for AE missions where freeing hostages on timed missions causes them to fail I see. Does this happen on regular missions too I wonder?

Track record is entierly subjective. I'm sure some people don't have a 100% failure rate with their missions because of bugs. I do.
That's why the bugs in AE bug me so much. -
If you rescue a hostage in a timed mission you will fail as soon as the hostage leaves the map. Happened twice on my arc "Clowning Around". I've since edited the missions so they are not timed and filed a report, but anyone designing missions needs to be aware of this.

is the bugs. I just posted in the tech forum about the latest bug to hit one of my missions, and it annoys the crap out of me you have to basically keep play testing your missions every week even after they are published just to make sure the latest patch hasn't screwed them up.
I've published two arcs. One was unplayable for weeks because the devs pulled a map without telling us and I had no way of knowing about it until a freind let me know. The other one fails you as soon as any hostages reaches the exits.
Great track record so far, eh? -
I soloed my 1st av, Barracuda, at level without trip mines (obviously) but I find there is no better way to make a dent on an av than a mine field mixed with three poison traps.
Not to mention the nice -damage seeker drones do. I'm sure Infernal would have been easier with them, as a few others. -

I find that I can drop Trip Bombs in mid fight even if the enemy ISN"T held; that's the main reason I took /Mace, for the Defense based shield. It makes it much less likely you will be interrupted while dropping a Trip Bomb. Especially once the bots suck most of the enemy aggro off you.

I prefer the damage resistance plus mezz resistance plus KB resistance from Mu myself, but to each is own. -
If you plan to solo avs taking down a huge amount of their health at the onset of the engagement is vital. A minefield and three poison traps is a great way to start making that dent.
And mid fight if you can score another hold from poison trap you can toe bomb the av for more damage. It adds to the dps you need to take them down.
At this point (level 43) it's quicker for me to list the avs I haven't soloed, so if you have a little patience I'm sure you'll be happy with the results. -
Do not skip trip mine. Ever. A mine field can one shot a purple conning boss. Each mine does massive lethal/fire damage. A bunch together can make a serious dent on an av or cut an EB down to half health.
Detonate sucks quite frankly. Your bots do knockback which scatters mobs so you can't hit more than one person with it, if you are lucky, and the end cost to re-equip a bot mid fight is cost prohibited, never mind dropping a minion out of bodyguard mode. -

My current build is level 42 and I haven't yet picked up my patron attack power nor any of my shooties. I have soloed 9 avs so far, including Infernal.
However, I do have both ghost axe and nemmie staff, which does alot of ranged damage. -
Not to mention the restists smashing/lethal gets vs engery damage. But I've only got two MMs in the 40s and four 50s of various ats so what do I know

Once you get to level 32 bots have incredible dps. Burn batch and missle swarm plus full auto lasers = dead av. But you still need to debuff their regen and defense. -
FF is great for protection but offers nothing in debuffing, holding, slowing and imobilizing the av. With dark, posion you get good heals, slows, hold, -dmg and acc and debuffs. With traps you get a hold, a slow, an imobilize, heals, debuffs to regen, defense and accuracy/dmg.
My thugs/posion has soloed one av, haven't had much luck since it uses a large ammount of end and is very click heavy, single target.
Traps is a murder fest of aoe debuffs and dmg. -
The best Mastermind, heck the best AT period for soloing avs/heroes is Bots/Traps. Since level 24 I've soloed 7 avs out of 10, and soloed Aurora Borealis and Barracuda twice.
I could have probably soloed sarafina if I wanted to take a half hour or more to do it, but her KB anoyed me so I just changed the diff and swatted her like a fly. -
I got him down the 1/2 health as an av with my thugs/poison but he kited me all over the map and regened. I dialed him down to an eb and wiped the floor with him.
My Bots/traps has soloed six avs so far, I lay down a gauntlet of mines as one of the previous posters mentioned.
