  1. I have no problem activating a debuff power, and while that is being cast, i have plenty of time to move my brute. (a second or so :P)

    EB's and PvP is no problem, except for zones when there's always a blaster or 2 interrupting a duel.

    Arena is fun though, had my fair share of wins.

    Im afraid i can't give you an answer to the other question, it might be possible with a macro or something but im not sure they have opened up that possibility with pets.

    Gonna have to wait and see if someone else can answer that question.

    Wrong, fire melee has ranged attack.

    Other than that, good guide... still a bit skeptic though.

    With any other primary the minion / LT will probably be dead before Achilles heel have a chance to go off.
  5. I use the bind -> /bind g "petcom_name z goto aggressive"
    (His name is Zany so therefore the z)

    It takes 1 second to send him in first, he attacks, draws aggro, then gets attacked which makes the other thugs attack.

    You will now have all 6 pets attacking, the bruiser with melee attacks (taking all the damage), the rest of the thugs next to you using ranged attacks AND on bodyguard mode.

    If he stands still all you have to do is press G and move him closer, quick solution to your problem.

    Works for me. =)
  6. If you want most possible damage, fire melee is the winner, beats BS by a longshot imo, however it doesn't have any parry skill which is very nice defense.

    With fire melee you will be able to take down a boss in under 10 seconds, with a few crits, then it'll be down to 5 seconds, which is very likely (I seem to crit all the time).

    Have no regen though, so i do not know if you need defense with it or how good your survivability will be.

    I have a lvl 34 BS/WP scrapper and a lvl 34 fire/super reflex scrapper... Fire is a lot more fun and a lot better.
  7. Hehe, my grav/rad controller is lvl 6 and runs out of end after a single mob. And then i don't even have the rad toggles or group immobilize yet... So i see your problem, a better and a lot easier solution would be to lower the end cost of some powers.

  10. Cold looks most interesting to me, nice effects and unexplored powers (to me). TA is meh unless you combine it with archery because of a character concept. Then id go with dark because it doesn't root you like the rest of the powers.

    To be honest, I can't help you much... only you know what you want to play as.
  11. I suggest you try super reflexes, i too like you always said meh to scrappers, until i made a fire/SR one.

    Was skeptic about defense based toons, but it's actually quite fun.

    What a load of bs, just because a blaster doesn't run in first trying to tank doesn't mean he's doing it wrong.

    There is some skill to surviving you know.

    Blasters are supposed to stay ranged, i hate it when they run in first thinking they pwn, then die in 3 seconds.

    What's the point in that!?

  18. My stalker is more durable then my scrapper, and she does A LOT of single target damage. My tip is to make a new one and change away from ninjitsu if it's too hard for you.

    WP, regen?

    EM, DM?

    EDIT: They are now both as durable as the other, on the other hand the scrappers damage is higher (average attack) and more consistant.

    For example, my scrapper did 260 damage with a minor damage attack at lvl 23, so there is a lot of potential there.

    On the other hand my stalker can do like 1300 damage in one attack, however as already said it's limited.

    You gotta adjust to the situations and AT.

    As already stated stalkers can be an asset to any team.

    That's true. I play with the volume down a lot myself, since some powersets are just too noisy (psychic blast, sonic attack to name a few). It does make it a bit tricky to locate glowies sometimes though.

  20. Ah, so higher def is not need vs regular enemies, but it is need vs certain enemies and in PvP?

  21. Thanks god i made another fun hero, villain side sucks when it comes to replying. Only a few social villains. :P

    Never really got a rude tell, got kicked from the team though because i said something snappy and the leader was [censored] off.

    Guess i was a bit impatient but he had no big reason to kick me. Both were prolly in a bad mood.

    Years ago though... on hero side.
  22. Have a broad sword/willpower scrapper, lost interest in him though.

    Currently playing a fire/super reflexes scrapper that is A LOT of fun.

    only lvl 17 but he can take down a equal lvl boss in under 10 seconds with DOs.

    Most fun ive had with a melee char actually.
  23. So you are basically saying that if you reach a certain point in defense, they only have a 5% chance to hit?

    And this is 45% defense?

    Logically id believe this was 95%, but then you confused me with your formulas :P
