To be honest, I agree that the CoV website is spartan to say the least, and I wouldn't mind at all seeing some more information. Still, it could be worse. We're not talking Halflife 2 here, after all.

Pshah Statesman, as InflamedSweater would say, I'm calling you out. You said the SOCK system would be coming out sooner than we think, and now I hear it may be pushed back to the week after I was thinking? For shame.

Interesting side note: The SSOC system is actually named after Positron's old dog Sock.

Basically, if you have an upper level character, don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Also, a number of badges do not seem to be retroactive at all, so you may end up disappointed.

Yeah, the Terra Conspiracy was a solid arc story-wise and background-wise. Will of the Earth was just another in the constant succesion of X Plague Threatens the City.

Couldn't one or two get moved into the lower levels?

I think there are 2 Archvillains in the 35-39 region (purely in the Story Arcs, of course), one of whom you fight repeatedly. There are also a number of cool new Boss types that you'll find during the Arcs, although unfortunately you won't see most of them again after you're done the Arcs.

2 levels? /diabolical laugh

Starting at level 40, I finished five of six Arcs, finished all but the last mission of the remaining Arc, did a good portion of the non-Arc missions that my contacts will give out, and I still didn't quite break 41. The only way I pushed up to 41 and a half was from chimney sweeping in PI while helping a friend hit level 42.

Definately the best of the pre-30 Arcs, but really, most of the competition isn't that fierce. Saving mechanics and fighting ninjas? Constant city-poisoning plots? Give me time travelling Nazis any day.
