Hi there.
Way back when, in the early days of Mac beta, I created an installer that did the same for Mac that the VidiotMaps Map Pack did for the PC.
Since then, because there has been no new maps made within the issues, I did not keep up with some changes. And, after moving to a new Mac, totally lost the programs and files I used to create the original Mac Map Pack.
I am going to be looking at this over this next weekend, and hopefully will have a new version of the installer (with the latest Vanden Icon Pack also.)
I have heard, within game and through other sources, that the current installer is not working correctly.
I apologize for not keeping up with it.
I have no real excuse. -

Since this is the week after 2XP, and I currently have a level 41 kin/elec which I expect to be at least 44 by then... I could see doing this.
Have to check my schedule... looks clear... I think this is doable. -

The more slots is actually the better of the two (IMHO).
"Fog of War"? There are already maps that "can not display" so if this is going to affect mission maps, there is going to be a lot of scrambling on the dev side.
If it is just for zones, it will be nice to actually see the map for DA... oh, wait, it is at VidiotMaps... never mind. -

I avoid PvP.
But this is a bunch of *known* people getting together to obtain a common goal.
Better than a PuG.
I highly doubt that any *real* PvP will be involved, as this is a scheduled arena item. -
I can offer up a 50 Scrapper or 50 Empath Defender.
Teaming with Sam, even on the Arena is guaranteed to be a good time. -

There seems to be some confusion as to the use of the dimensional ground ray in the final fight of the Task Force. Before Reichsmans hit by the ray, he is in a phased state and is running a rather nasty debuffing aura. When he is hit by the ray, it grounds out some of his power and he returns to a normal state and his aura is shut down. This will persist for the duration of the fight. The dimensional grounding ray isnt intended to be used at specific points in the fight; it should be used early on, and one hit will do.
