  1. I realize I already posted this but couldn't find it in the boards (until just now). Disregard the last thread and respond to this one if possible! Sorry about that.
  2. Hey guys, anyone have any of the Malleus Mundi missions left over? I know for a fact that we can still run them if you have them left over on your toons because I ran 2 of them last night. If you have the mission on any of your toons please sign up here so anyone who didn't get all the badges can play along.
Hope to see you guys soon!
  3. Hey guys,

I know for a fact that if you still have the missions they can still be done (because I ran two of them today).

If anyone has any left over, I propose we do a couple for the people who didn't get all the badges (myself included).

Sign up now! I'll be on tomorrow in the morning and Wednesday evening from 7pm onward.

Look for me on @Psyline using Philosophist. Wednesday is the best bet to see me on.

Looking forward to see you guys there!
  4. Hi,
I was under the impression that the bioluminescent costume pieces and the eyes for the organic armor had separate auras that you could access at level 30. Was this just in beta, or am I "straight trippin" and they never existed?
    Thanks!
  5. I had a bug recently that made my cape clear, and I think it looks awesome. Who thinks that this should be put into the game?

    Check out the pictures here:

  6. I'm that sure that this is a graphical issue, but it's weird that it just happened today for the first time since I've had Ultra Mode on for awhile.

My cape is clear. It looks pretty awesome, but it's not right.

I think that this should get put into the game as an official cape.

  7. That's a shame, it's such a fun build to play it's sad that it's known as "The worst build for brutes", but easier to softcap than its Tanker counterpart. Hopefully, I will be able to figure something out with this and let everyone know how it goes once GR comes around.
  8. Dechs, do you have a link to Plasma's guide that I can look at and cross reference it to Alienone's little tidbit he posted here? All this info is valuable, I've been spending some time reading up binds for switching etc.
  9. Thanks for the info. I'll revisit this thread after I've played around with some Khelds for awhile.
  10. I just rolled my first 50 hero. I've heard various different things in-game compared to the forums. I'm curious to know what is better for each archetype because I plan to make both, and send my warshade to villains once Going Rogue comes around.

What is better for a peacebringer: Human or Tri-Form?

What is better for a warshade: Human or Tri-Form?

I'm only interested in Human and triform builds, not dual form (unless you've got a significantly good reason for it, but I would like to be able to play all 3 on one of them and go human on the other)

When you give an opinion, please give a reason to support it, and even provide a build if you can. Any softcaps or builds able to solo in each form are welcome obviously.

Thanks in advance for your help!
  11. What's up guys. I've recently built myself a EM/Invul Tanker, and I'm loving it. But now with Going Rogue coming out, I'm wondering if brutes are better. I want to play on Heroes side since I like the game better, but I've heard people say that there will be no use for Tankers once going Rogue comes out because Brutes are so much better. I have a few questions

    A) Is this just a matter of opinion?

    B) Are the maximum caps for Damage + Defense different?

    C) Does it have to do with epic powers?

    D) Any other suggestions or opinions?

    Thanks in advance.

Edit: Also, did they mention if we can get Hero badges if we switch a villain over to the hero side?

That sounds very much like British humor.

And I laughed heartily at the Charlie reference. What a great video. I'm glad I've inspired a christmas weapons thread with my foolery
  13. Here are 2 builds I've been looking at. One has better Defense and lower Resistance, and one has Higher resistance and lower defense. What are your thoughts?

What do you guys think here?
  14. Zyphoid, do you have a copy of your build that we could take a look at?
  15. I probably sound like a fool asking this, but I've heard countless rumors about a fabled "Candy Cane Shield" and "Candy Cane Sword" That scrappers/stalkers and tankers/brutes can unlock by doing some ridiculous task with the winter missions.

Can someone either debunk or support this rumor for me?

    Gracias Muchachos
  16. My best so far is 45. No one seems to know how to do MB's method for Romulus properly (except of course you ^ Master-Blade). Would be great to run an ITF with you soon. I need to get the MotITF badge.
  17. Thanks, appreciate it.
  18. What is this? I've seen this term floating around the boards, and I know it has something to do with set bonuses, but I have no idea what it is.

Since I've just bought a ridiculous number of recipes and fully IOed one of my 50s, this is concerning me.

    Thanks in advance.
  19. Hey everyone, I know this is short notice, but I'm doing some ITF runs today. If you can't make this, there are already signups for a 7:30 run by Mr E-man here: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showt...=1#post2442748

If you want to sign up, just respond to this message with your level, archetype, and character name.

    Levels 35-50 accepted.

For anyone not familiar with Master-Blades method for defeating romulus, here it is:

"Rush his platform immediately after the Cutscene (the "Real Rom" wont be spawned yet).

You being there (not using stealth, or attacking a side-group to suppress it) will make him instantly spawn, but the Nictus' bond will be broken.

Once this happens, you can pull Rom away from the platform, and the Nictus will refuse to follow. As long as you keep him in Line of Sight of the Nictus (even hundreds of yards away), he will still continue to use them to Rez and you wont have to worry about them at all.

Without them.. any team should be able to repeatedly take him down easily."

See you all in game. I'll be at Imperious at 4:20 to send invites, so try and be in Cimerora by that time. I'm hoping to do a few speed runs.
  20. I wanted to do this today, but 7:30 is too late. I'm creating a sign up for a 4:30 pre-run to this one, and I'll add a link to this post. I hope you don't mind if I copy and paste your sign up sheet, since it's easier and looks purdy.
  21. Whenever I try to log in to the boards on Safari on my mac, it gives me the "thank you for logging in" message, and redirects me to the main boards page, but I'm not logged in. This happens every time no matter how many times I do it. I get logged in, redirected, and then I'm not logged in anymore. Anyone else have this problem?

  23. Bump

Really? No one? Are Ice/Kin Corruptors that bad?
  24. All good ideas, I hadn't considered those chains you mention before now. I'll check out your build and see if I can tweak it to fit me/add blessing of the zephyr. Thanks for all the help!

    Keep the suggestions coming
  25. I've got a level 38 Broad Sword/Shields Scrapper running around the Freedom server. I'm pretty happy with it; it's a fun set to play on with decent damage.

I'm concerned about defense, since I don't seem to be doing well in that area, and if there are any ways to improve the damage that would be great too.

Is there anyone out there experienced with this set that would share their build? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
