That was the first time i'd played with that toon on Defiant since I made him about 8 months ago... If I remember right I did get a couple of SG invites from some people I teamed with in the Hollows way back then...

Thanks dude, I have my W/S and Dogg back in my old SG. They formed a new one while I was away because it had gotten a bit out of hand, which was a shame..

I still have a few toons though that I play that I was hoping to get in if it's still cool..

2wice over the weekend i've been the only man left after being deserted in both..

I am currently lvl 19 Rad/Rad def and have been having trouble with people dropping out half way through TF's. On Saturday we had a team of 6 breezing through Positron when all of a sudden people had levelled and no longer getting XP so quit, which then lead to the rest of the team quitting and leaving me standing around on my own. Then yesterday I was off work and had a /tell asdking if I was up for a TF so I replied yes quickly and was invited, there was 8 of us standing around in Skyway (Synapse TF is it?) for about 10 minutes while people enhanced etc. When everyone had arrived we started and instantly 3 left cos they then realised they would get no xp. This was fine as we were doing well without them. 3 missions in and I look down to my team window and watched 5 turn to 4, to 3 to 2 and then once again, me.

I'm sure it ain't me doing anything wrong cos everyone seems to state how useful rad/rad is...

Are there a few people on here that would be up for a TF this evening?

I am up for either Positron or Synapse (If this is the one in Skyway), and if possible I wouldn't mind doing the Cavern of Transcendance trial as i've been posting a request for this for a while now but nobody seems to have it...

I'll be online from about 6ish this evening as Badge Hunter and my global is @J Dogg. If there isn't enough interest then gimme a shout if there are any other badges going this evening as i'm getting more and more badge hungry every day!

Cool, thanks for the invite last night Miss Kitty but I was only logging in to show a mate my Villain and was in the process of logging off as you invited.

Quick question, i've only installed CoH from the disk, but I am able to load my villain toons still. So far they have only spawned in Pocket D. Do I need to completely install CoV from the disk to be able to play properly?

Scarlet, are any of the original Spirits (other than yourself) left in that SG? I've been back on CoH lately and all the original Spirits have formed a new SG... Just wondered if it was the same on CoV?

I know of a certain lvl 22 tri-form W/S that has recently become available... with a 50 Claw/Invuln scrapper to back him up...

That was one of the things I always thought would be useful, cos you could never tell if someone was logged in as an alt etc. I'll have a fiddle with that tonight and work it out. Thanks for the detailed description dude.

I've seen a few threads about I7, but I ain't gonna bother installing the test server again at the minute, I only ever used it for the S4 training. I missed I6 didn't I.. How was it? I ain't really noticed any major changes...

Hi all, I have returned after 4 months of Battlefield 2 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion.

And I am now sporting a respec'd machine with a P4 2.6, 1GB RAM and GeForce 7800GTX. I can't believe the difference from my old machine, so much smoother graphics and now completely LAGLESS!! woo hoo.

To anyone I used to play alongside hope you are all well, and look me up if you need a "good" (note the inverted commas haha) tri-form warshade, J Shade, currently around lvl 22.

I will help you out with this if you like, I have a few alts that aren't in my SG that will help. Is it CoV, or CoH you want to do this on, and which server?

Does anyone actually have a raidable base yet? Th Demons and Vengeful spirits are almost there, just need to get the Raid Teleporter now I think, and place the 6 things in the rooms..

Also, you do realise there are 2 types of raid right.. One is a pre defined time and things can be stolen/damaged etc. the other is like practice raid, where you can't steal anything and all damage is restored after. The latter can be done by right clicking on a hero/villians name and selecting raid... They have to agree though..

I'll be on as Mad Dogg in Cov tonight from about 10:30 til probably 1am. I will keep my eye out for you and will send a tell.

Most of my salvage is converted to components and I have 30+ of them...

Most of my SG has given me their Arcane Salvage to trade, so I now have silly amounts of the stuff, and no use for it! Anybody willing to trade for their useless Tech? I have it all converted to components.

Anybody with an arcane base? Why have all that Tech stuff just hanging around when you could have lots more useful arcane!!

I have about 25 Arcane components if anyone would like to trade for Tech?

Demons and Vengeful Spirits (CoV main SG)
Members - 40-50 (rapidly growing)
Primary - 30-40
Secondary - 10

No offense, but I think you are taking this a bit seriously. I play the game in a few different styles and all seem to work fine for me. I am a leadre of The Spirits and August Light which has 4 SGs altogether because of the amount of members (50s SG, Alt Sg, CoV Sg and main SG). The bases for all 4 SGs are coming along nicely as people are always playing different characters and there is never a moment when at least 2 Sgs haven't got an active player or 2.
If I am not in the mood to play with the big SG, the occasionaly I log in as my solo character, which now has his own SG, and a small base that I like to call home. (simple room with bed, living area, desk and some nice deco.).
Then if I do not wish to play as either of these I have a character that is in a medium size SG (bout 20-30 members) that has a base coming along nicely with power and control now, and Workbench to follow shortly.

I have been playing for about 7 months now, and had the base option been available from the start I am confident I would have seen most of the base content by now, even without being in a massive SG.

The fact is that the options are there for all, if you want to see or play with all the more expensive bases then get an alt into a big SG (send J Dogg or J Shade a /tell and you can join ours). Think about it, would you expect a group of 5 people to have a huge expensive base within a month or so? Personally myself and most other members of my SGs are pleased with the base feature. I feel it has added a lot to the social side of the game as our SG is always talking over coalition about base designs, funny stuff in the base, and now we have an SG mission computer that brings even more to the game. Next we're gonna start raiding and looting your bases, so watch out

That is just my opinion and everyone is gonna have different views on everything. People don't like change and there are sooo many people out there that just love to moan rather than actually get on and enjoy what they can. If you no longer enjoy the game because you can't have a massive base in a few weeks, or because you refuse to join a large SG and see the more expensive stuff, then why did you enjoy the game pre-I6?

I would like to pat the Devs on the back for all the hard work and effort they have put into the game since I have been playing. I have never come across any major bugs, and any minor ones have been dealt with swiftly. The game content just keeps growing which is the main reason I am still playing. If it wasn't for I5 and I6 I would probably have moved on to another game by now.

The devs are going to get abuse no matter what they do, if they change it so smaller SGs can build huge bases easily then people will abuse it, and others will moan cos they put in loads of hours to get so much prestige when someone else plays for 2 hours a week and earns the same etc etc.

One last comment is that if you only play 5 hours a week I would suggest buying a gameboy or something. Better value for money, I personally wouldn't pay that much money and play so little, especially if I was a broke student again..
