  1. Belated happy Canada day to all out there!
  2. Wish I could have made this one. This sounded, as Major T would say...

    Interesting.

Hoping to make the next one! I really want to see this.

    You did an awesome job!

200 mil... hmm... I may have to start selling some of my stocked Hami-O's...

It's been a long time since I've been to a raid and that one was quite enjoyable. I'm going to have to make a point of going to more.

    Day One

I got here about a month after launch. My brother (Tuxedo Braz) picked up the game and was showing me it at his place. I tried it out for and decided to pick it up on the way home.

I never played much in the way of video games untill City of Heroes.

    I like it.

I'm hoping to get on tonight. It's my daughter b-day today so we're going out to dinner with the whole family. She's 14 and it's a school night so we should be home early

But at least I'm free tomorrow!

I was trying to fill in for you for a while there but sadly my schedule lately is causing me the same problems

As a side note, I was listening to your show last week while playing STO

Protector is defiantly about the people. I have a few toons on other servers, but Protector is still where I like to be.

And even when I'm on other servers, my channels are on protector based ones.

Actually, if you don't mind the rough crowd, it's a good place to ask for teams and/or team members.
I think thats the probably the best (or the funniest) description of Jello Shooters I've ever heard.

    And welcome to protector Astral!

Tux is still here. We've been playing over on Guardian with Aura Light.

Blaine and Sadie came back a while ago but i think they left again.

We had Death001 drop off the face of the earth. Not sure what happened to him but I'd like to see him come back.
  12. NEO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Welcome back!

I'll send you an invite back to the Mixed Nuts if you want. It's pretty quiet though but we got a good amount of base toys.

I agree with you there. I've run into a couple problems with the open teaming system.

On one occasion, I was thrown onto a team with 2 other people. After we (and I stress WE there) finished 3 of the 5 objectives listed, the leader (which is the first person in the instance) booted me from the team. I don't know if it was done accidentally or on purpose but when this happens you get booted out of that instance and have to start over again. It was annoying, but not a big issue as it gave me a chance to get some good loot on my own.

On another occasion, I had started a mission, and had a couple people join me. They then left right after we engaged the first attack wave. The following attack wave was based on having 3 ships not one in the team. It was a good day to die. Repeatedly. Once I exited the mission and re-entered it, it reset but I still had to redo a part of it.

That being said however, I've also enjoyed more than a few good "open teams".

It's not enough to pull me from CoX or Lord of the Rings Online.
I would give the game a better rating but thats just because I am a Star Trek fan. I played the old FASA Star Trek RPG and, to me, it has a lot of the same feel to it. It'll be nice when they get more bugs ironed out. I just wish they had more ship customization.

But as much as I like it, I won't be abandoning CoX either.

(Superheroes and Star Trek. I feel like a kid again! )

    Tried it and liked it.

I bought the digital edition pre-order on the weekend and got the lifetime membership.

I did the calculations on the lifetime membership and it worked out to about the same as 16 months of monthly payments.

I've always been a Star Trek fan. I've been collecting the books since the early 1980's (I have almost all of them) and i also played the old FASA role playing game. (I even have a few of my old game miniatures left).
