Yes, and also Flipper.

Nah, Skippy was little. But they can get really big. That's why all those vehicles out in the bush have grills on the front. If you hit a boomer, it'll wreck your truck. There's even a Christmas song about boomers (big kangaroos).Quote:Skippy was pretty dang fast, too, if memory serves. A motivated kangaroo can also put quite the whooping on you, so Skippy would have been good for more than just rescue message delivery when events warranted it. -
I could understand a name like Skippy Sidekick for a community rep but, according to the Dev Digest, Skippy is a dev!
I just can't wrap my brain around it. Picture the Justice League with Superman, Batman, Skippy, Wonder Woman..... does that work for you?

<looks around>
Well, this is turning out be to real popular...... -
Actually, I think the situation will be exactly the opposite for quite a while. I think we will see unprecedented crowds in Praetoria, even more so than when CoV was released.
-
I love fire/fire. As soon as it's clear the enemy is too much for you to handle (survive):
1) Fire off everything you can.
2) Activate Self destruct.
3) Activate Rise of the Phoenix.
4) Cue maniacal laughter.

Quote:I'm earning it for stuff I can't buy yet.Even on the market forum, very few people have claimed to use the market to earn inf for the sake of having it. Just about everyone earns inf for the sake of buying stuff they want.

My main, for whom I spare no expense, is /regen. I'm waiting for purple healing and resistance sets.
hmm.... dunno if he's my favorite, but he has a clue and a sense of humor.Quote:I have nothing to add other than Goat is probably my fave market forum poster

Quote:I think, for most players, even 1-3 a MONTH would be good stuff. It does work, and it works just fine when you can sell a lot of the drops for north of 500M influence, with a couple selling off market over the price cap. Getting 1-3 a day is good stuff at those prices.

Quote:You do know you can roll merits at any level range right? Use the slider.Right.Quote:You can roll at any range, but the resulting recipe will be at your level, or the highest that recipe is available at.
The level slider does two things.
1) By adjusting it on random rolls, you restrict which sets are available for your rolls. The recipes will either drop at your level, or the highest level for that set, whichever is lower.
Example: If you get a drop from a set that runs from 10-40 and you are 35, it will be 35. The slider can be set to 10, 15, 30, 37 - it won't matter.
If you get a drop that runs from 10-40 and you are 50, it will be level 40. Again, the slider can be anywhere in that 10-40 range.
2) By adjusting the slider, you can specify the EXACT level of the recipe when you purchase specific recipes. -
Dell
I used to love Dell. Then, in my opinion, they started consistently doing things wrong, or at least in a 'sub-optimal' manner. They moved their tech support off-shore and it STUNK. It's better now, but still sub-par. A lot of their components are custom items - particularly power supplies. My office has a ton of Dells, and we continue to buy from them because their prices are good and the reliability is acceptable 'out of the box'. If anything goes wrong, *I* diagnose it and fix it.
Dell's Alienware
Dunno. No experience.
Gateway
I've owned a Gateway and my office has had several. However, this was YEARS ago. I was absolutely satisfied with them, but have no recent experience.
Lenovo
I expected quality to decline when they bought the product line from IBM but, so far, they seem to be doing a good job. I had opportunity to use a Lenovo notebook not too long ago and I'd buy one for myself without hesitation.
HP/Compaq
My office has one of these. (Everything else is Dell, except our IBM server.) The price was good, features were good and zero problems so far. Hardly extensive experience, but so far, so good.
Sony
Dunno. No experience.
Toshiba
I like Toshiba. My mother had a Toshiba laptop and I had a subnotebook. Pretty good bang for the buck and neither of us had any problems.
I do a lot of reading about computers and manufacturers, too. I was looking at buying a netbook. If I was going to buy a netbook today, it would probably be Asus.
Quote:Man, it never ends. I had a Quantex system with popped capacitors on the motherboard. This was in 2002.because of that whole flawed capacitor fiasco -
Yep. This is only my 3rd villain to get this high. My ratio of blue/red play is probably about 10:1.

Dumple misunderstood?

Okay, maybe I missed something and this is how it's supposed to work.
tl;dr version: I was able to pick a power from a patron whose arc I did NOT complete.
Long version:
I did Scirocco's arc because I had not done it before. I wasn't actually interested in the powers. I didn't take a patron power at 41. I hit 44 tonight and went to train. None of the regular powers looked interesting so I decided to see what Scirocco had. When I went to the Patron power selection screen, all 4 Patron pools were 'active' (not greyed out). Just to see if I could, I picked a power from Black Scorpion (Scorpion Shield) and it let me.
Just to be sure, I checked my badges and I have the Mirage badge from Scirocco's arc. The last time I had a villain get this high, I'm pretty sure it restricted me to the Patron powers for which I had actually done the arc. Am I mistaken about that? -
Okay, that's double weird. It's not any keystroke; it's the follow FUNCTIONALITY that crashes you. Yeah, verifying files is the only thing I can think of.

I want people to be able to find me.
I run a coalition of 3 SG's so I'm always looking to meet new people.
I'm in several other SG's.
My global list has around 150 people on it.
Using any of the hide functions would hinder that.
The only time I hide is:
- I'm respec'ing.
- I expect to be AFK for more than a minute or two.
- I'm in a PvP zone for a Shivan or Missile. -
Maybe Hamidon raids aren't the big attraction to most people that they are to you. I really don't think that this one activity is a valid metric of server 'aliveness'.

The only time you can't get the temp power is if:
1) You've already had it.
2) You're below the minimum level for the Safeguard. You can still go in and do the mission, you just can't get the temp. -
Quote:So, the OP would have to make certain assumptions and then search three forum sections. Or, just maybe, they could do something crazy like post in the correct forum section and see if the information was available. It is safe to assume that any information that is official would be found in one of two places: The Developers Digest and The Community Digest.
It is also safe to assume that any release of official badge information will be posted to the Badges and Gladiators section of the forums almost as soon as it is revealed. -
Quote:Broken? Yes.The developers have indicated that they view some of the prices on the markets to be broken, and that trading items off the market for more than the personal influence influence limit is an abuse of the system. So yes, the developers are aware that there is an issue.
Abuse of the system? You made that up.
Also, the only items that hit the influence cap are PvP IO's which are pretty much irrelevant to the discussion. It is NOT a widespread problem. -
And after you construct them, they show up in 'Personal Inventory', not in the base editor. When you're in the entry room, your options are to edit the base, change the plot size, or place an item from personal inventory.

Quote:oops. I forgot to mention that. I always bring that up when I'm on a task force, just in case anyone cares about the souvenir.Unlike the badge, which is awarded once the final mission is completed, the souvenir is awarded once the final mission is turned into the TF contact.
If you quit the team after the badge drops but before the contact is called/talked to, you won't get the souvenir. -
People are answering yes because that is the correct answer. As noted in other posts, the OP needed to have someone ENTER the mission before the leader logged out. If there is someone on the map, the mission will not 'go away'.
