I'd say Sunday will probably be your best bet since more people will have higher level toons by then, but it will probably be more active Friday and Saturday. If you do decide to do it Saturday, just remember that Shadow Shard Shaturdays ( http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=193723 ) will be starting at 1pm Eastern (I know, shameless self-plug), so late Saturday afternoon (after 3pm or 4pm) or even Saturday night would work for me.

not much, Postagulous. the purpose of this particular thread is to make fun of character builds that you come across in the game. stuff like a stone tank with fly as a travel power. the humor lies in the fact that stone tanks cant use any travel power except teleport when in granite form (which for most people is the sole reason to make a stone tank). or to make fun of someone who did not take their travel power at lvl 14 (because the higher level missions have you running all over the place and sprinting just wont cut it). it's kind of a mean thing to do, but since i'm not a noob it's freaking hysterical.

This Shaturday we'll be running the Sara Moore Task Force. Traditionally we can run this in about 2 hrs. I've heard horror stories of people trying and taking 3-5 hours and it saddens me. So to make this one special (and if we can get enough people), I'd like to have a race. We'll build multiple 8-person teams and the first team to finish will get a cash payout of 10 million influence to each person on the winning team. If you're on my team and we win, I'll give 15 million influence per person Be sure to be in the zone 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of 1pm Eastern. Hope to see you there!

The Crimson Order would like to initiate a repeating scheduled event focused on running the Shadow Shard TFs every Saturday at 1pm Eastern to give everyone a chance to get the badges. We'll run one TF every Saturday starting October 3rd 2009 and continue until there are no more player requests.

We will run them in the following order:

Justin Augustine - lvl 44-50 (42 merits)
Sara Moore - lvl 40-50 (64 merits)
Faathim the Kind - lvl 44-50 (73 merits)
Dr. Quarterfield - lvl 40-44 (122 merits)

Please be in the zone at the contact at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of 1pm Eastern. Team spots will be filled on a first come first served basis. The use of ventrilo will be available.

You know you play too much when someone sends you a screenshot of their character and you try to right click and rotate the camera. I do it all the time when looking at base screenshots as well.

I like the Positron TF. My quickest time was 1 hr 47 minutes with 2 blasters and 1 empath. An equally grueling experience (for some) is any of the TFs in the shadow shard. My personal favorite is the Sara Moore. A solid team of 8 can do that in a little under 2 hours also, plus you'll have all of your lvl 50 powers.

There are several ways actually. You could tag certain forum threads as favorites so you get messages when there are posts (such as the Mothership Raid thread), or you could join in-game global channels such as LB, or you could check the events calendar that is provided by Tax E (I'm at work *shhhh*, no time to fine the link, sorry). You could also try building your own event; start a thread on the forums and on the designated time/date, just send out a bunch of tells using the team search window.

it would be nice, but i dont think it would be possible. what would distinguish between popping green inspirations and using a self heal? however, it would be nice if my blaster could get the empath badge by eating up 20 tier 3 greens over and over again hehehe

Plasma, set a date and time for this pre-screening and I'd be happy to help. I'm not sure who you'll want for screeners though. Would it be more organized to hop from server to server with a small group of people? Or maybe have each base post their pics on a 3rd party image hosting site? Or have each builder edit their posts to contain links to the images? I know there are already several threads full of base pics, but how many of those are pertinent to these particular SGs?

Having links to your base images within this thread might be easier for Sunstorm, but server hoping and seeing these bases in all of their majesty would definately be more enjoyable for the community, imho.

there definately needs to be more diversity in base items. TECH/ARCANE isnt enough. there's very little blend of the two. I would also like to see water effects/ambient noise inside the base.
