  1. For most of my builds i go for 4-5. Generally 5 because I get kinetic combat and 1 mako's bite.
  2. We do have Leviathon Mastery, you know?
  3. I'm talking mostly for melee types and ranged attacks. I understand having lots of powers for different situations, but I also don't see the need for spreading out my slots so thin. I usually try and go for DPA, not DPS, so i generally skip 2 or 3 powers for my primary. Is this normal or am I missing out too much?
  4. Here's my build for my main. He is capped for range and energy. He is one purple away from s/l/n as well. Give it a look and se what you think of him. I use him quite often and he can handle groups of +2/x8(haven't tried any higher, but was on a group and I went all scraplock and was doing quite well for myself)

  6. I have a concept idea for Titan Weapons already, but I want a good secondary to go with it. I've seen around the forums that a lot of people seem to favor /invul, but i already have one for a scrapper(don't really care for making similar toons). Is willpower any good? What kind of perks does it offer and is it easy to cap(hp,def,res,ect)?

  8. So this is a PvP build? If so we have a build section on the forums now if you want to post it there. Probably get more responses there. Also, I was told if you're going to PvP then slotting for defense is pretty useless. Go for +regen and +recharge as much as possible.
  9. You really don't need placate. I rarely use it myself so its really not that big of a deal. I would probably drop moonbeam and keep assassin strike, because if you're gonna drop AS then why even go stalker? And the moves you have are all fine.

    A lot of people will tell you that if you don't want to use AS then why not just go scrapper and get better HP cap? You could even throw in stealth with a stealth io if thats the only reason you want to keep your stalker.

  11. I was going with teaming and more of an offensive brute. Not sure of the difficulty. I usually just go with +0/x8 and just up it to my comfortability. I'm still learning when it comes to builds and io's, so thank you for the info,

    But I just heard on Freedom TF channel that it has been confirmed to be released before Halloween, that true? I left before asking for proof.
  15. I'm super stoked for them! Didn't get StJ for the fact that I have nothing in mind to go with it(concept wise). I'm feeling maybe a titan weapon/regen brute. I've been fiddling around on mids with a BS/Regen just to get an idea of what i'm getting myself into and I am impressed. Does anyone know or share the same amount of excitement as me?
  16. i've been doing radio missions in PI for the past 4 days on and off( a guy's gotta sleep) and I start with +2/x8 and move difficulty up depending on how many lowbies are on the team and how many 50's. So keep a lookout on the help channel if you are ever on freedom.

    Also, people don't usually join an ITF unless they are lead by a 50. And some, but not all, leaders won't allow anyone below 50 to join. So best chance would be radio/paper missions as stated before.
  17. Never made a regen before and thought i should start with a brute. But since it's still a new power for them haven't any builds to work on. Also, this is just a concept until Titan Weapons releases, but it will probably have the same io's(well, as close as possible)

    Icy Bastion...

    I love hoarfrost for the fact that it's more of an emergency button. If i'm getting low on HP i hit that and icy bastion and just enjoy the ride. My hoarfrost heals for around 951 so it can help when you in the redzone.
  20. I haven't used StJ yet but what kind of power does it have for it? My nrg/ice stalker pulls off some pretty impressive damage, but it is lacking in the speed departmant as well

    Just to add: if i had enough left over slots i probably whould have gotten energy transfer. So, if you want it i say go for it. But i would suggest going with spiritual for your incarnate because your chain of attacks is going to be slow, even with recharge from io's.

    Its a nice move and i'm not that worried about the hp loss. It's just a personal choice really. Energy punch is fast and recharges faster so i'd rather stick with that. Also, since i have energy absorption i don't have to get cardio now (because without it the build becomes an endurance hog) and go with musculature or spiritual. You shouldn't need nerve die to crushing impact's bonus of accuracy and energy melee is kinda lacking recharge. Unless you have enough recharge from LoTG.

    Just off the top of my head here; you have 8 toggle powers on there, 1 slot in stamina and 1 slot in energy absorption. You need some sort of endurance going on there. And I was playing around on mids last night and realized that ToD made my s/l go up 20% past cap(which is nice going against -def enemies, but still). And you need Achilles heel chance for -res for water spout, its just much better that way. Here is my build I have so far and it is doing quite well.
