havent looked at A_F's yet, but it'll probably look simular. Lots of option with PvE .

you can "flip" Power Thrust, Aim, and TF for cheaper options

  3. I recently made a crab as a disruption toon. It's kinda like a tank with Glue Arrow.

You could always drop the pets for more attacks or a phase, but i like um for targeting disruption.

(i meant to put the Guassian's in TT:leadership)
(i'll probably drop Aim for Shatter Armor)

    whoa! FONTS!!!

Anyone know where i can find a list of fonts and/or colors? Here's a few i found by trial and error.

    Check out the symbols too!

Hmm, the fonts don't seem to show while using Foxfire..
If the fonts don't show (and if you're interested) you might try a different browser.

I'd really like to get a list of colors. I know there's magenta, lime, green, blue, red, yellow.

fyi, to use a font just type [ FONT=BROADWAY]random text goes here[ /FONT] without the space within the brackets

    Edit:

For me the single worst part about PvP is the lack of documentation! People spend ages learning the PvE mechanics so I can work out how to softcap my builds, or if it is worth getting that last bit of +res, attack chains etc. Considering they don't really want people knowing too much I think it was ok not to give this out, but when you get people like myself who know the PvE game pretty well scratching our heads why we are being flung about RV despite having mag 12 kb protection we have to come here for information.

Nowhere in game am I told that I need mag 41 KB protection for PvP, nowhere does the game mention DR or how much it effects you, nowhere does it talk about the animation time thing. I think having to come to the forums to find out basic information is stupid.

yeah, i hate the lack of documentation also, but at least we can view Combat Statistics now...hey, the dev's did something right!

-You could easily slap another kb IO in CJ if you wanted.
-You could drop Aim too, alot more options with a Crab for pvp..
-Oh, and i took the pets for targeting disruption and the HP, but i guess they aren't needed either.
  10. i need some help with this build also.

Mine is almost the same as yours. now that email is global i can spend more on it. I took TT:assault over CT:training (its a small acc bonus).

You're probably close to the perception cap, so you really don't need the Rectified Reticle.

hopefully someone will give us some good info. I've personally given up on this toon. I didn't know that Shatter Armor doesn't get the "executioner strike"

BU=>Shatter Armor=>Placate=>Shatter isn't too bad if you can complete the chain.

    this.

if you wanted to build for 1v1 arena specifically, you'd need to double your budget (Glad Jav proc's etc), but it'd still be sub par for 1v1's.

I'm not sure about Spectral Terror for zone's, unless you find people are standing around alot or you're doing fight clubs (it's a nice set mule tho).

If I took Oil Slick I would prolly just put 2 Lady Grey's (dd/r and r/e) for the hp and call it good. I think you'd get better mileage out of Disruption Arrow tho.

Glue Arrow is the whole reason to make a TA, try to max it's recharge.

I personally like more slots in SJ.

    disclaimer. I've never pvp'd with a TA.

I'm prolly gonna run something like this for arena-KB-disruption.

  12. "Also that only players matching the globals on the official roster are being played and that multiple globals for the same player are not being played in the same match."

not sure i understand the reasoning here.

I understand that everytime i play team X, i want to know the same people are playing on team X everytime i face them. (only because if our team does better or worse, i want to know it wasn't because different people played the accounts).

having said that. this isn't the hay day of CoX yor, when the the CoX population and pvp population was rampant. It's hard enough to get teams to show up to a pvp event... and it's against the rules for someone to play on a different account??

how bout we worry about cheating? later when the League has survived a month. For now anyone that shows up with a keyboard can play?
  13. You could always sell a Cyto for 100mil, if you need some inf.

I would slot more like this..

I didn't get much sleep last night, I'm sure these builds need work.
  16. iirc, the old CoP gave a sg buff that lasted a month? and you could have up to 5 sg buffs?

now it lasts for a week... any numbers on the new buffs yet?

I haven't tried it yet so I'm reserving judgement, why no exp? is everything tagged as a summon or something? weird.

you wanna try to get your Hit Points above 1400, most of my choice's were for the HP. You also want some global recharge and global accuracy sprinkled in.

Best way to learn is just go out there and get yer butt kicked and learn a lil something each time
  19. sure! At the very least I could be an alt if someone in the "main 8" doesn't show. I work every saturday till 3pm est. I can always maintain the avg sg lvl in my spare time if need be.

For those starting at lvl one, you might consider making it Science origin so you can slot recharge SO's at lvl 10 in AM and Hasten

I can always email the SO's if no one has Mr Yin's store unlocked.
  20. If you just need a warm body, i can help today @3:30 est. I'll be gone the following Saturday tho..

  22. good, imma noob also. Since no one's posted yet, I'll throw up this build. btw, I've never played a Corrupter. You'll want SJ, SS, a phase type power, high HP, and sharks.

This build is probably too expensive if your new, but maybe it'll give you ideas..

and btw Ice Blast is terrible damage (for PvP)
