There are actually three versions, one of which is "May Olive, in dress, stink dimes."
-
You mean these, which are found on the crossword page under the link Last Week's Answers?
-
Three different people made the crosswords, although the same person did the layout. It's bound to lead to a certain repetition. You've got to expect a certain amount of repetition. I'm sure it's bound to lead to an unavoidable amount of repetition.

...unless you're holding off the Council for the vampyrs and Warwolves
[/ QUOTE ]
I forgot to comment on this. Have I ever made mention of the Council so far? I've been avoiding the name for a reason. -
German vampires? Don't be silly: everybody knows where vampires come from, and it's not Germany.
-
Oh, and here it is: Stan and Lou in Terra Volta.
-
I need to do #24 to set up Castillo's vanity in #25. Trust me.
-
There's NO way he was vain enough to be Captain Castillo.
-
Arctic Sun is asking for pictures of, and testimonials about, the Warriors. Too bad we don't know any Warriors at all.

Hey Hertz, I've been wondering. Any chance on the names of the plays you're in?
[/ QUOTE ]
Presently I'm doing sound design for Take Me Out by Richard Greenburg. Previously, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
I've been thinking about the next installment of S&L today, and I've come up with some of the bits that were missing. Next up: Captain Castillo. -
Love the costume pieces. Hate having to pay some schlub twenty million for them.
-
Glad you got it worked out. I didn't think it was that hard.
-
What letters have you got in the cross-sections?
-
I chose to write it DCIC. If that's poor Roman numerology, I apologize. The Romans never were big on crossword puzzles.
-
Thanks, Mofeta. I really wish there was space to list all the good answers everybody gave. I mean, it's electronic, technically there is unlimted space, but a story that long, filled with nothing but quotes, does get repetitious. Thinking of the questions is the easy part.
-
Thanks, Jester.
Now everybody can use their imaginations about how Captain Castillo ties in to a stormtrooper parody.
Oh, and P.S. Thanks again to Kuros_Paladin for diligently recording sound effects in the Terra Volta reactor trial. -

I've been shanghai'd into working on sound design for the next play. My evenings will be pretty busy up until June 1st. I hope to squeeze in a little Stan and Lou time, though.
Yes, Cooke's Electronics is a reference to the DO-level Technology store. Obviously the Freakshow are such Munchkins that they wouldn't dare buy anything there.
The brand names that 3l33t mentions are also based from the names of SO-grade Tech Enhancements: specifically, WetWare and Benedict Tech. -
So write up something and send it in! The more, the merrier.

Players are very adept at filtering out the unplayable garbage.
That takes care of probably 90% of user generated content.
[/ QUOTE ]
For bug-testing, I definitely agree.
They don't filter out 90% of the unusuable garbage, though, which is a shame; that'd a bit tighter of a filter. -

Judging by mods community (for games like WarCraft, Counter Strike, etc.), players themselves have a way of separating the good from the bad.
[/ QUOTE ]
I entirely disagree. Go to the most popular downloads of many, many user-built game mods and you are likely to find:
<ul type="square">[*]naked and/or jiggling game models[*]world-destroying weapons[*]cheats[*]the occasional very very good mod[/list]
I do think that user-created content is a very, very good idea for the long-term health of any MMO. Ultimately, we the players have more resources available than the developers do. I just don't agree that the players can automatically filter out those mods which are low, crude, crass, offensive, or inappropriate. Ultimately, somebody on the payroll will have to look at the most popular stuff and decide whether it fits the game plan. -
Well, the respec mission isn't available until level #24. Which would be... gee, the next episode. :innocent:
What I really meant was that your question was vague, because the enemy changes depending on which respec mission you do, and whether it's Hero or Villain, right? -
I dunno, that's not the only one-L word that fits.
