Just a note that I'm planning on taking down this arc by the end of the month to make room for another arc, so if you wanna play it, be sure to do so before then.

And hopefully it will keep the 0-star griefers out of my arcs!
[/ QUOTE ]
I would wager this move will have very little effect on 0- and 1-star griefers. -

Gotcha.
Is there anything I can do to make Grandville accessible? Replace my graphics card?
[/ QUOTE ]
Either replace the card (which would be the best all-around solution; the Radeon 9200 series is pretty crappy for this game), or use a different character to turn off the Geometry Buffers. Once you do that, the character that is presently stuck trying to get into Grandville should be accessible. -
Yes, but of course you'll need to do it from a different character than the one that's trying to get into Grandville.
Note that turning off Geometry Buffers will lower your performance, so if you know you're not going to be going to Grandville for awhile, leave the option on. -
What kind of video card do you have? Grandville used to cause problems with ATI Radeon 9200 series cards if Geometry Buffers were enabled. I'm assuming the problem still exists.

Kobyashi Maru is a japanese term for "Little Wooden Boat".
Can't copyright that.
[/ QUOTE ]
Again, it does not matter what can and can't be "copyrighted" or "trademarked." What matters is what a GM will decide when they review the petitions about this arc. The OP would surely win his "case" in a court of law, but the court he'll have to face is much, much harsher than that. -
I'd recommend you change the title and the name of the ship in the story. More than likely, a legal challenge (should one occur, but I'm betting it never would) would *not* hold up in this case, but the game's GMs will err on the side of caution in nearly every case. It doesn't matter if you've violated no copyright or trademark laws; all that matters is the discretion of whatever GM gets the petition against you.
Changing the name would not take away from the mission at all (except that you wouldn't be so emphatically evoking the spirit of what we all know you're trying to evoke), and would allow the mission to remain published and playable. -

My problem is that when I took my level 8 scrapper into a DC arc, they started getting training enhancements again ... and I missed them from playing all the other MArcs.
[/ QUOTE ]
You realize you can buy Training Enhancements from the ticket vendors using tickets earned in non-DC arcs, right? You can get exactly what you want, instead of relying on random drops, and at +3 your level no less. -
[ QUOTE ]
LOL well never hurts to tryAnyways if this get clipped it gets clipped. I have a lot of other stuff to worry about instead of cranky posters who want to burst bubbles. If you posted an arc to try I think I would instead of giving a hard time.
[/ QUOTE ]
I doubt this thread will get deleted or locked; not sure it breaks any actual rules.
However, this *is* an entire forum for posting your arcs in order to get the attention of players and possibly Devs, and this one isn't it. -
[ QUOTE ]
Well since you might not have seen this post....
AND since I cant find this thread> I place this here because.
"And finally there will be a forum thread called Devs Choice: For Your Consideration where players can post arcs they think should be considered for Devs Choice.
BUT hey thanks for all the support geez just like a typical forum this is why I stay away for the past 5+ years
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, one of the conditions of that fabled "for your consideration" DC thread that still hasn't been created yet is that you can't promote your own arcs.... -
Turn around.
(After you click "Play" or "Test," the generic contact holograms become the contact for your selected mission. Go click on one of them to start the contact intro for your mission.) -
Minor updates to this arc, based on feedback. Fixed some typos and spruced up the contact intros a bit. Not getting many plays as of yet, and would love some more feedback.

I've got a second account, and the game seems to think that a storyarc i made on the first was made by the second. I can unpublish/edit it on either account, but not vote on it with the second.
is this WAI?
[/ QUOTE ]
Have you tried logging completely out of the game (to the desktop) and then logging back in on the 2nd account? With my 2 accounts, I get the same behavior you're describing if I just quit to the login screen, but when I quit to desktop and log back in, I can rate my first account's arcs with my 2nd account. -

There is no "Power" it will let you use /architect anywhere, there is also a emote /em Tablet or some such. It is tied to the MA Accolade, which I got last night on a character. There is an Icon on your power list that you can drag to your tray, though it isn't a power, it is a macro.
[/ QUOTE ]
It depends on whether the OP is talking about "Mission Engineer" or "Master Architect." You're describing Mission Engineer, which, as you say, gives you the ability to use /architect anywhere in the game. However, there is also a Day Job Accolade named Master Architect which you get from having the Architect and Professor Day Job badges but which does not appear to be granting its associated power (the ability to rez within MA missions) at this time. -

The Guide to Paragon City's Network of Contacts
The Guide to the Rogue Isles' Network of Contacts
Edit: It's not entirely up-to-date. It still doesn't have Faultline, for example, and some missions in the 40s CoV still haven't been filled in.
[/ QUOTE ]
If you look at this page on that site, he does have the Faultline contacts in there (but it's not as easy to read as the "family tree" version of course). It's odd that he hasn't included the Faultline contacts in the other version, since it does have Ouroboros and the University contacts, which came after the revamped Faultline... -
It was noted in the Issue 14 patch notes ( here ):

* Characters (on active accounts) who have inventories, bids or items for sale in the Black Market or in Wentworth's Consignment House will no longer have to log into the game within 60 days to avoid item or influence/infamy expiration.
* In-game Black Market and Wentworth employees will still give their friendly reminder, however if your account is "active", they won't take your "stuff".

So if there is no closed beta then the rules about not talking about it dont apply?
[/ QUOTE ]
Right. Kinda pointless to ask us not to talk about it when anyone who signs up for a trial account can get in. -
Try raising your ceiling and/or lowering your floor.

Ain't never been. All that double XP counts for in the MA is debt deduction.
On the other hand, MA doesn't eat any of your accumulated double XP, either, except when you get debt; it just shoves it forward.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's also not "double" XP, either. Patrol XP is 1.5x XP, not 2x. -
I wonder if it could be a US/EU thing. The MA arc server is shared between the US and EU, and I remember reading someone from the EU say that they couldn't get feedback from US players via the MA /tell system because the global chat servers don't interact. But I wonder how global names work; like, could someone from the EU have the same global name as the OP?
To the OP: Are you getting tickets from the ratings that this arc is getting? Or just global tells for the feedback? -
This arc is finally getting some plays, and I wanted to share some of the feedback I've been getting lately:

that was great, really enjoyed that. Well done.

Thanks to everyone who's play the arc so far and for sending me feedback! This was a fun arc to do (even if I felt rushed while doing it since the idea didn't occur to me until a few days before the anniversary), and it's great to see so many positive responses. -
Just a note that I've decided to keep this arc up until the end of May, so if you want to play it, please try to do so before May 31st. I will probably move it over to the Test Server, or maybe one of my other accounts at that point.
