  1. I've had the fun of teaming with you a few times and sad to see you go, but hope you have fun on your next gaming phase, I'm sure I'll see you when you visit again, this game isn't an addiction that goes away easy. (and really, who wants it to?)
  2. I'm a self proclaimed comic-book nerd, and as such I made up fantasies about my own heros as a kid and this game helps bring them to life. Being able to leave the game for a minute and come back to see my tank surrounded and being attacked and just standing there like nothings going on gives me a sense of my character being near indestructible as a tank like that should be, not so much that the game is simplistic, but that the different powers and especially the enhancements allow for specific types of heroes so even if you run across another with the same sets you will still be unique enough in a world filled with supers.

The second most reason is the player base, I've became friends with some interesting people playing this game and interacting with others on the channels keeps me coming back just about as much as the gameplay itself. And come on, tell me I'm not the only one that feels being able to beat on Longbow isn't another good reason.
  3. My main on Protector is my blaster Freeze Spark and it would have to be animated/cgi cause the only voice I can see him with is Bruce Campbell.
  4. I don't want to take credit for it going so well, but I will anyways. JK, once the teams got rolling it was a very well done & fun Hami run, thanks for setting it up @Cranium!
  5. I like the hair idea, I would also like to see some more tech themed pieces too. Themes I have that use tech like armor suits or just pieces of technology to fly don't have many options, and the non-customizable rocket boots can only go so far.
  6. I prefer bringing my main Heat Guard, fiery melee/regen scrapper, but I have an invul/super strength tank if need be.

I would LOVE for this to happen just to see how many impacts I can recognize as belonging to my own heroes (though I swear those buildings came out of nowhere officer).

But if Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman are all in town for a convention then kidnapping Lois Lane to keep Superman busy while you rob a bank doesn't really help much, they'll foil the robbery while Superman rescues Lois Lane.
As a self proclaimed 'comic book nerd' I feel the need to point out that in the list of heroes you said, 1 of them shouldn't be on that list. It's plausible to see Batman or Wonder Woman in the same town as Superman, but, really, you want me to believe that Aquaman would be useful?
  9. While I agree that the last option should happen, I personally would vote for option 5.
  10. But what if I actually LOOK like the decoys?
  11. I think it should probably be stated though that this isn't really a 'free-2-play' model so much as a 'hybrid' model that is still more focused on getting people to pay a sub than relying on just microtransactions, at least that was how I understood it back when CoH Freedom talk first started.
  12. I'm on Protector right now as I'm writing this, and I think Champion is still up too.
  13. I must have been lucky with teams I've been on, I don't really recall having problems with a team letting my energy/energy blaster tag along without rules. There shouldn't really be any problems if you use your powers based on what you see, if they are herding, use single power attacks, if you see someone in trouble thats surrounded, use an AoE attack to help clear them for a sec. Personally, I tend to use a 'blapper' strategy so I'm usually on my own target anyways.
  14. For me, I treat tip mishes as the random case/problem that falls on the lap of a hero or whatever would fit the morality of the character I'm playing as opposed to the regular save the world/take over the world stuff from the story arcs. I agree more tips would be good, but they need not be ground breaking story changing things, just something that popped up unexpectedly. For example, a group of thugs got hold of some (weapons/explosives/or anything else that makes sense) and it's a time sensitive matter meaning you can't wait for a 'lesser experienced' hero to come along. May not be a great example, but i think it makes the point.

    Hazard Pool

I have to say as a player who factors his death into his playstyle (whether or not I wanted to die) this could be a very useful pool......especially since I could claim my constant deaths as calculated falls.
