Yes, it's a known issue. I'm sure it will get fixed. The thing is, people complained about the prompt and how much they hated it. So, Castle made it an 'auto-accept'. Then, people complained that they didn't like being 'hit' with it out of the blue and wanted a choice, so Castle turned the prompt back on.NOW there are more complaints...seems the only way for most to be happy is to be able to tick 1 of three choices...Auto-accept, Auto-deny or Ask.

Blue_Battler really said it best, for me. I bought/installed the game on April 28th, 2004 and have played without interruption ever since. My very first toon was Healix, my little healer. She is still with me...This game has seen me through a lot of changes in my personal life over 6 years...it is certainly the cheapest therapy I could ever afford LOL. I have made friends here that I will have for the rest of my life. I have laughed myself silly sometimes, shared in saddness for the person behind the toon and rejoiced as well. There is a rich history for me with this game...and as long as CoH goes on, I want to be there for the ride.

Up until a few days ago, I could transfer influence/infamy and items from one account to the other. (I have 2.) All of a sudden, I can't anymore. I didn't change any settings or do anything differently than before. Anyone else experience this? Could it be something I did or need to do? Thank you in advance for any responses.

As I can only speak for myself and my gaming experience, I want to thank the devs for their hard work and the latest patch! I not only got my Ninja braided buns back, and the correct blackwand/nem staff animations plus the ability to accept/reject Tarot Fortune....I can now add more UM features without an fps loss!!! I have an older puter, and had set the water to high (so beautiful), but anything else dropped my frame rates. NOW, I can add shadow maps, too! This has added so much depth and more realism to my game. I am a very happy camper, and once again, thanks for making my great game even better!

These are the ones I use, and I LOVE them. Stereo sound is fantastic, and they go behind your head. (I hate what the other kind make my hair look like after using them for a long time LOL.) The earpads are very comfortable.

Infinite, the easiest way to do that is to create a shortcut for yourself.

Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and hit new>shortcut

In 'Type Location of Item' type this
%windir%\system32\ipconfig.exe /flushdns

Hit 'next' and in 'Type a Name for This Shortcut' put what you want. (I put 'Flush DNS')



You can also do the regular way

Start>Run and type this (or copy paste) into the box
%windir%\system32\ipconfig.exe /flushdns

It almost looks like figures from the Windows character map have replaced some letters.
Go to your CoH folder and delete the coh.checksum file. Click on your shortcut to start the game and let it rebuild it. Verify files, then enter the game and see if it helped. Might be a corrupted file.

I see I'm not the only one who feels a connection to these characters. I get very fond of them, and deleting those would be like losing a friend...I always try to make them unique in looks, bio and they all have a 'personality'. I have deleted some, but it was because that special connection wasn't there, so I didn't play them much. I still have the very first toon (with original costume) that I created six years ago. Healix and I have been through a lot together, and I'll never delete her.

With all the content on this game, even a 50 will never be done. We are always getting new content, costumes, areas etc. I love playing my 50s, especially with the auto-sidekick.They still haven't done it all, even after six years.

I created a shortcut for the 'flush dns' command and put it in the Quickstart taskbar. (I only have the recycle icon on my desktop. I use my Quickstart to lauch programs.)
Right-click on your desktop and open new>shortcut.

Type %windir%\system32\ipconfig.exe /flushdns in the blank space. Hit 'next'


Type in the name of your choice. (Flush DNS, IPCONFIG, etc.) Hit 'finish'

This makes it a lot easier than opening up the Run command and typing it in every time.

You might try fooling with the Geometry Buffer setting ingame..this happened to me a while back (I have them 'on')...i turned them off, line gone. Turned them back on and still no line.
