Hmm, good thing Child of Fire is a toon, a lady subject to real gravity would need Glue, to move around at all in that top, without a catastrophic 'wardrobe malfunction'. Nicely dynamic picture, though!

Ok neko now look at the rest of the artworks :P those are pretty good too. lol. Really nice work, unleashing force was particular striking. The white in the eye's gives them quite a bit of pop.

And rightly so, very nice Hair and other parts... and one deep breath away from sudden full-frontal... Great art with... er, dynamic tension.

There's something very cool about a lot of these (Liking Kiber's Fantasy the best so far) but in a sense I haven't quite made my mind up on them yet either... Ah well, don't bother with my silly musings, I'm a bit off.

You can ask but I'm not sure I can answer

Not trying to be difficult it's just that I'm not sure exactly what my reservations about it is. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy most of it very very much and think it's all pretty damn cool... It's just... *shrug* I'm not sure what it is.

You mention above somewhere that one of the tools you use sometimes is Poser? Maybe that's it? I dunno... Not to take anything away from your talents, or the talents of those who do great stuff on Poser, but while I fully see that Poser takes skill, and talent to pull off great, something about 99% of Poser works just seems a bit "off" to me. Again, not sure exactly what it is.

Perhaps it's something about the fact that no matter how talented at Poser the creator is the figures still "feel" a bit posed and stilted to me... too stiff or something.

Really looking over your pieces again and trying to figure it out I'm thinking perhaps there is a sense of balance missing which is just throwing me off somehow... It seems that in each piece there are some things done much better than others in them. Bah, I dunno...

Sorry I can't be more clear. I guess I'll never make my living at being an art critic or teacher or anything... But despite the fact there's something about them I'm "not quite sure on" I still think they're very cool and interesting and am glad to see them and hope to see more!

These are beautiful pieces, I've enjoyed watching them accumulate.

I think your sense of colour is very good. Very sophisticated. I think sometimes the shading, such as this last piece, could be a bit more intense on the character to give it more depth. In lieu of shadows, you have your lines but since they're of uniform thickness they don't create depth. Unleashing force has darker clothes, which perhaps substitutes for shadow, but he definitely has depth and stands out from his background for it.

But it's a teensy nitpick from someone who can't draw goodly. I am still considerably impressed with this style and the way you use it. Very real looking people. It has a photorealistic-posterized quality.
