I would love to one day load up CoH and have it update, click patch notes and see that they finally fixed the lag in the ITF. Sometimes the order of which the devs fix things is so bizarre.
-
-
Once again it's the devs jumping the gun to fix some farming, meanwhile it effects everyone that had missions in AE with allies. GG devs, maybe one day you can learn to fix one thing without breaking three other things.
-
I'm going with either a demon/storm or demon/poison. Storm if the third tier pet doesnt go melee, poison if it does.

I came across a mission where all the enemies confused me and that seemed to be the only thing they did. When I sent a tell to the creator, they said it gave good xp but I havent figured out how to kill the enemies as there are about 10 confuses on me.

robo is at work, anything he posts during that time was posted with his brain turned off

Quote:I went to the hami raid on sunday on the champion server and it was very clear they raid a lot there. Not many directions were needed and it was mostly follow your leader type deal which is where I hope liberty will be one day.True story.
When we first started up community raids again, the first raid took 3 hours, then the next was around 1.5 hours, then they started to run consistently between 30 mins to an hour. So don't get discouraged if your first attempt takes longer than expected. It just takes a few tries to get everyone up to speed on the i9 version of Hamidon.
Once a raid date is set, I'll be more than happy to transfer a toon over to help out.
Best of luck!
I had gone to a raid on Justice earlier in the week and while they raid frequently, there was a lot more explaining of the roles and going over what was going to happen. I think this is how liberty will have to start out, not that that is a bad thing. -

From what I've read and what some of the other server raid leaders have said, our first raid would probably take 2-3 hours. That is mostly because we haven't raided in a really long time and are probably a little rusty. The time would be cut down drastically as we raid more and more. Getting thru that first raid is gonna be the toughest, because at 3 hours the rewards seems miniscule. If we can get thru the first one, we will be golden on future raiding.

It'd be cool except I don't think most people would want to see a toon running around with their namesake

I found this post to be pretty helpful, though I'm not sure how up-to-date it is

Hey everyone, I'm from the liberty server and have ventured to the Virtue forum for some Hami Raid help. It's been a while since Liberty tried a Hami raid and even longer since we have successfully completed one. There was a recent attempt after a server event, but I believe we ran into a Giant Wall of Giant Monsters in the hive and that seemed to put an end to it.
I read the i9 Hami Raid sticky, but being March '10 and almost to i17 I'm not certain on how much of that info is still valid. I've noticed a lot of Red side Hami Raid posts here so I'm hoping there is some Blue side Hami Raid experts too. Since Raiding seems to be a common thing here I figure that theres got to be a good amount of people that know how to raid.
I've read most of the general raiding stuff on paragonwiki but I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to pm me or post some more tips, strategies, binds, and overall advice on raiding (team makeup and their roles). This would be blue side for now and maybe work our way over to red side.
tl;dr: any help on Hami Raiding would be appreciated -

Hello all, I'm from the liberty server and have come to the Champion forum for some Hami Raid help. It's been a while since Liberty tried a Hami raid and even longer since we have successfully completed one. I've come here today because while on paragonwiki.com, this little tidbit caught my eye:
"On Saturday, January 23rd, 2010, the Champion server successfully led a 16-person Hamidon Raid without use of the Shivan pet temp power, HVAS pet temp power, or Warburg Nuke buff/debuffs"
Now I don't expect to be able to do a 16 person raid, but I noticed on the Champion Server Calander that Hami Raids are weekly which would be very nice to get Liberty back into the swing of things. Since Raiding is weekly here I figure that theres got to be a good amount of people that know how to raid.
I've read most of the general raiding stuff on paragonwiki but I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to pm me or post some more tips, strategies, binds, and overall advice on raiding (team makeup and such). This would be blue side for now and maybe work our way over to red side.

Assuming theres enough people and those people have the time, could always run all three. Start the respec, let people get their builds right then hop into a Manti. All three TFs are pretty quick especially if someone calls out locations for the hunts on Numi.
If that doesn't sound doable, I'd imagine most folks have atleast 1 vet spec to burn. -
things I got to 50: dark/ice def (from 42), plant/storm cont (46), fire/rad corr (47)
things I leveled: claws/dark stalker (25-37)(clawsome!), fire/mental blaster (39-47), spines/wp scrapper (1-30), sd/ss tanker (5-32), fire/sd scrapper (22-38), thugs/pain mm (1-32), thugs/traps mm (27-32), rad/mm blaster (32-37), mind/rad (25-42), earth/fire dom (1-32) -
