It's also worth mentioning that there's an entire shantytown "fortress" of Freakshow on the outskirts of Sharkhead. I imagine there's quite a few different kinds of music that gets played around there.

Casablanca
Shane
Singin' in the Rain
Invasion of the Body-Snatchers
The Outlaw Josey Wales
The Mark of Zorro
Strangers on a Train
I could go on... -
Ahh, Vengeance. From back when the guys at Marvel decided a demonic biker in leather with a flaming skull for a head just wasn't "hardcore" enough.

I'm officially onboard for Sym-Bionic Titan.
Samurai Jack/Powerpuff Girls meets Voltron? Yes, please!

Yeah, I kinda got the feeling that pic was supposed to be mid-transformation or something, so maybe the green lion is still folding its legs up.
-
Yeah... yikes.
The stupid fish-eye camera didn't help, either. No way I would even consider EVER climbing up that high without being constantly tethered to something guaranteed to hold my weight. And wearing a parachute. Possibly a jetpack. -
Yeah. I'm thinking... dream sequence/hallucination? That, or Lois is somehow going to be reliving major events in Clark's life this season.
/em shrug -
Oh yeah... "WASHINGTON!!!" Peeeeew-SHOOOOOOOOM! Good times.
This season had a ton of callbacks to moments from all over the series, like Sarge's "near-death experience" in Season 1, or Tex's voice modulator (CT was really a girl?!?). And the final scenes echoing both Reconstruction and the earliest episodes of the BGC (in Reach graphics!) were pretty cool. And Tucker gets to add another notch to his tally of Freelancers he's stabbed through the chest with his sword, heh.
Tucker: Caboose, stay with Church!
Caboose: Okay.
Tucker: And try not to accidentally kill him.
Caboose: Okay! -
Quote:I dunno... one of Mulan's powers is super cross-dressing, remember!Wonder if this means we'll see a crossover with the other Disney characters - Spider-man, Iron Man, the X-Men, etc. Now that he's single again, maybe Spidery could strike up a romance with Mulan!

Quote:Well, as Linkara once said, "Superman's beaten Darkseid so many times his knuckles are permanently imprinted on his face."also, there is too much promised awesome this season. it looks cool, but then the 'Doomsday' season looked promising and look how that thing ended. please dont let 'em **** up Darkseid.
But yeah, I do want a knock-down, drag-out brawl between them. Or at least for Clark to get repeatedly Omega'd into submission before finally coming back and kicking his granite head in.
I'm actually surprised they aren't introducing some of the New Genesis folk this season, if Apokolips is getting so much focus. They could've had Mr. Miracle and Barda in competition with Zatanna's magic act, or something...! -
Holy... those hi-tech looking Nazi bikes had the Hydra insignia on 'em!

I won't buy it until the coroner says so! And even then, I might still be in denial for a couple of weeks.

Could've sworn I read somewhere that Metropolis is in Maryland and Gotham was actually in New Jersey... but then, according to "Smallville", Metropolis is somehow in Kansas.
(And yet, they have a harbor. WTF?)

They hired the guy behind the "Haloid" short onto their staff. I'd say it's paid off.
"That... was the second worst throw, ever. Of all time." -

Most of the Republic/Imperial Senate might fall into that category. Granted, the majority were duped or manipulated into thinking the Empire was a good idea, but I'm sure the vast majority genuinely did want what was best for the Galaxy at large. The few who knew what was really going on were either in on Palpatine's plan early on or, like Bail Organa, had to play along in order to keep their positions and work behind the scenes.
As we saw in ANH, the Emperor dispensed with the Senate when the Death Star was completed, but I imagine a fair few of those displaced Senators did try to make it work for a time. -

Well, I sincerely doubt we'll be seeing the Mighty Endowed. *snicker*
I could easily envision Match making an appearance or two. Maybe Bedlam and/or Klarion, just for the hell of it. But I suspect they'll mostly be going up against the adult enemies of their mentors and such most of the time. -
I kinda liked the comment about the show being set on "Earth 16." Heh.
