Can you be more specific? Generally the layout is the same as it has been for all of 2008, though a few things shift issue to issue. I did the layout for the last two issues to give Mantid a break and we both have different styles.

Ok let me try to explain.
Before I noticed the headlines in the middle and more bolder I guess? To me the pages don't jump out anymore.
Also, the first page never used to have an index, and the calender is gone.
Examples:
October Issue
Another October Issue
Again, sorry, just the little things I pick up on.

Just wondering on the new layout. To me it seems and feels different then what the Scoop used to be.
Just saying, not a fan of the new layout.

"HeroStats does not work in the Mac envrionment, as it uses Windows .Net programming."
Hmm, I wonder if it might be possible to get HeroStats working with Mono? Mono is an open-source re-implementation of the .Net runtime for Unix-like platforms (including OS X). The main development is being managed by Novell. I think the .Net API's might be somewhat limited right now for Mono, though, so not reallly sure if you could get HeroStats working, but might be worth a check?

One of the people in closed beta got this working. I'll try to find out who.

My understanding of briefly looking at the original announcement is that this requires a pretty new Mac, so be sure you have your friends check the requirements.

I've been playing on a Mac Book Pro from last year roughly. Runs smooth, Duo 2 Core, Nvad 8600, 4MB ram.
Its been nice. See you all on there.

Good scoop this week. I enjoyed the article on what type of people play the game, a badge person myself.
Funny comic also.
Keep up the good work guys/gals.

Between us three Pinnacle, we should be able to turn out some nice events for you.
As always, if you have questions, idea(s) for an event, things you would like to see, make a post or you can PM anyone of us.

For Content watch, good stuff!
I must agree though, Hero side content 25-40 is limited. I understand that one can run back to back Katies, LGTF, and now ITF's, but a person can only take so much.
I do love the Croatoa arcs! It offers alot of neat temp powers to use anywhere in the zone!

Woot! I want the grand prize!
Grand Prize: A 2009 Model Year Toyota Matrix S model filled with a year subscription to "City of Heroes" and “City of Villains," an XBox 360, a Playstation 3, a Nintendo DS gaming console, and tons of super hero video games!
Mmmmmm, what to film now
Hawk -
Good issue!
Can't wait til next week to see what the super-scrapper team is like.

when will they be back up? i saw the server status going to unknown. does that mean its coming up soon
[/ QUOTE ]
Best thing, fire up the updater and try to log in!
If you get in, score, if not, keep refreshing the server page.
Hawk -
I did find them!
I guess you need a DoT toggle or some power on to get them to jump out of the water like the lava dudes do also.
Either way, thats my plan this weekend.

I guess there is suppose to be a new villain group in the Hollow's:
Coralax
My question, do they spawn the same spawn rates as everything else or are they on a set amount?
After searching the "Red River" area, I didn't see a single one.
Thanks!

Since Niv isn't listed in the Community Digest, it was kinda of a pain to find the City Scoop this week.
Just my opinion though.
[/ QUOTE ]
its right in the announcement section, as always
[/ QUOTE ]
I understand that, and you are correct. However, some people, myself included, don't read all the sections here on the forums.
I personally only read a few sections, one being the Comm Digest. I find it easier on Fridays to read it since Ex or LH has always posted the SC and easier to click on 1 link instead of different links.
Again, just my point of view.

Good issue since I have a toon about to hit 20 on Pinnacle.

School's out for some of us, so lets do something fun!
Any idea(s) for a event, PM Tree, GP, or myself, and we'll get something rolling.

No food this week.
