  1. What the heck does invincibility have to do with this...You dont prolly even use it in a hami raid. Invul tanks can at least FLY or jump with their anti-mez power on..

    Erm there is no defense or resistance to Hamis attacks apart from the special insps...Hami always hits 100% iirc. What data are you digging..

    I know you were. Thats what I commented on. I mentioned defiance because I wasnt sure whether these changes were done because of a defiance change.

    The ONLY real way to balance things is to make them equal on all accounts. Thats it. That said I dont want to live in a completely balanced world, it is boring. This equalization was needed though in my opinion. Since Ice and fire were ahead in ALL aspects (except flares).

    ps. I have a fire/fire blaster. It wont feel this since its a AOE blaster anyway.

    Yeah, Fire and Ice Tier 2 blasts will have their animation time increased to 1.67 secs, like Powerblast. That's a nerf for them.

    ps. TBH I dont care enough about this game anymore to care about this. I think its good that they normalize the animation times. Period. Maybe you guys shouldnt always roll FOTMs Since obviously people who did are the ones complaining..

    Wth are you babbling about. Im not commenting on the possible defiance change whatever that is, but I think the proposed 1st and 2nd blast animation change is GOOD. You may not take flares, but for me power bolt is an important ranged power since energy blast has like a total of 3 useful ranged attacks and bolt is one of them. This change would cut power bolt animation time to exactly half (only 0.17 sec less benefit than flares). Power blast time would remain what it is so I wouldnt lose anything.

    Yes you do. I have not yet met a character that doesnt. MAYBE my regen scrapper with both stamina and QR. And even in that case you'd need endred on the most costly attacks.

    The definining moves of claws are AS AND focus (eviscerate and slash are good too). But placate is also to be taken soon as possible. A stalker build is pretty predetermined up to like lvl 35+, if you want it to be decent in pvp.. Claws/nin has a LOT of must-take moves, and stalker builds are tight. Blinding powder, smoke flash and caltrops are not among these, although caltrops is useful. The other two I havent even tried except a bit on test server.

    You are correct. TK will only toggle off when they go beyond your perception range... It has no max range as such. One of the things that makes it bit borked..

    Against whom exactly? Unless they have taken care of the extra stealth they need(and generally NONE of PVE stalkers have cause they dont need it in pve), they wont even be able to leave their base without being turned into a greasy spot on the ground (assuming non-empty zone and people who know relatively well what they are doing). If they havent taken care of their heals, a pvp blaster who gets the chance will quickly decimate a stalker. Only regen can survive against a decent /EM pvp blaster who has no backup, and thats assuming only one attacker. On the other hand, the mere possibility of escape and rehide is what amounts to much of stalker survivability.

    Personally I think blasters and stalkers are oughly equal in effectiveness, both having their pros and cons. Due to less stealth, blasters generally need more work (inasmuch as you need to move) to survive in a pvp zone, while stalkers with proper stealth can just move around freely and pick their targets.

    This statement isnt true, afaik. Would be same as saying scourge doesnt work in pve which it does.

    You know, Im only posting out of habit. I stopped playing my tanker ages ago, pretty much since Devs ravaged the fun I got from playing it, indirectly though, by ED. ED was not wrong decision, but it made mace just plain ugly. Without few exceptions like when my friends need a tank or something I havent played Hammer for fun for.. I dont know how long.

    Mace animation times are still horrible compared to their effect.

    Also, I could swear that statement does NOT hold true for mace. I just tested with Shatter.. Animation appears EXACTLY the same with or without redraw.

    Stalkers can be very useful in a team. It is just that because the stalkers very nature is centered around avoiding aggro, people get peeved when stalkers arent 'carrying their share of the combined team tanking'. As damagedealers stalkers are useful. They just dont draw and carry aggro the way scrappers do.

    I think cold mastery has lost some of its allure now that you can aid self thru snow storm.. Damn, I have even aidselfed through rad debuffs on occasion.

    Dwarfs do not have taunt aura nor gauntlet. their taunt has toHit check in PVE. Theres more to tanking than just taking damage.

    PS. I have a PB almost at lvl 30 and it sucks .

    Like others said, you did the right thing coming prepared to a fight with insps. Im just mentioning that this "no insps" thing is getting so old you may find regular pvpers post sarcastic and joke responses about it. Like in this thread lol.

    First, destroy some stuff to get more clock. And be prepared for the first ambush which is inevitably coming. Waiting for the first ambush first before going to bank is recommendable imo so you dont get caught between 2+ mob spawns. After you dispatched the first batch of longbow, stealth to the bank. This is very straightforward imo. After grabbing the money, wait at the vault to avoid any extra aggro. If you have trouble with the hero, use insps (4x defense insps is a generic solution to most tough opponents. mini-elude without crash for 1 minute). The second ambush should come after you have defeated the hero with good timing. Personally I never had trouble with mayhems, as long as you pay attention to the ambushes and avoid aggroing more when the ambush is coming. You can see when the ambush is coming from the NPC chat.

    ps. Imo mayhems are ALWAYS easier solo than in group, because the spawn sizes stay small. Also the extra time from destroying stuff seems to bug out or something in a group. when I solo I usually end the mayhem with more clock than I started with. The key is to take your time, and destroy stuff for extra clock when you have the time. (and make sure you destroy different kinds of items)
